Chapter 68 - Enlightenment

The ancestor held up a small parchment to his face. He began to read it.

"What is the Tao? It is the Heaven and Earth; It is the Sun and Moon; It is the mountains and rivers; It is the birds and fish. The Tao is the Heaven and Earth; Heaven, the master of life; Earth, the judge of death. The Tao is the Sun and Moon; Sun, the beginning of Yang; Moon, the beginning of Yin. The Tao is the mountains and rivers; Rivers, the image of turbulence; Mountains, the image of tranquility. The Tao is the birds and fish; Birds, the essence of immortal; Fish, the essence of celestial. The Tao is the law of creation; The Tao is the law of destruction; That is the Tao."

After a few moments, he ripped it to shreds.

"What is this insolent demonic scripture? It even reads unironically. What fool would dare to blaspheme against the bountiful Dao like this?"
