Hi Everyone!

  So now it's been about a year since I wrote the first Volume of the Archon's Mark

  I ended the story when I was in full throttle in terms of my writing ability, and I soon moved onto writing the next volume

  I finished the first ten chapters in just a couple months, then; I started on Act 2.

  This is when I started to struggle.

  My health kept declining throughout 2024, and at some point I realised I needed to look after myself more. So, I started going to the Gym; I changed the way I eat. The results were great; I felt better than I ever had before! After being sedentary for such a long time, it felt like I was back in control of my body and my energy. However, this meant I had less free time. Less time to relax, less time to write. My responsibilities were also increasing, and my commutes became longer. I soon realised I didn’t have as much free time to write anymore, and as I was getting to the end of Volume 1, I had the biggest mental block I've ever experienced since I started writing.

  During this, I tried entering a writing competition. My Book didn’t make it. I was devastated. It didn’t even qualify. I think with my dwindling time, this was the final nail in the coffin.

  I stopped writing. I knew, and have known for a while how I want to end Volume 1. but I've been indecisive with how I wanted to execute it. I lost confidence in my ability to write. I wanted to write. I even got some pages out when I really forced myself. But alas, I just couldn’t end the book.

  Anyway, TLDR that was a year of writers block! But, recently I've had some inspiration on how I should be ending the first volume. It's not written yet. But I think I finally am happy with how to execute it.

  There's about 16 chapters that have been written nearly a year ago. And I've made a decision. I'm going to release them over the next few months. I don’t know when I'll write the ending, but I decided those of you who are interested in the series and at least deserve to see what's been created.

  Thank you, those of you who left comments on volume zero. It was you all who made me come back. You all made me realise that someone out there does actually like the things I write, and knowing the fact that my book brought even one smile to someone's face is more meaningful than anything else.

  I'm going to revise the upload schedule soon, but expect the new chapters to be out next week!
