Chapter One: The Young Man
At dawn, the morning glow spreads across the rocky mountain, and in the lush forest, a figure is running quickly, with a black leopard following closely behind. The beast's eyes are red, apparently in a state of frenzy.
Rumble rumble
The black leopard's running on the ground made a considerable vibration, and when it saw that it was about to catch up with the figure, it suddenly jumped forward, wanting to knock it down, opening its bloody big mouth, the scene was extremely thrilling.
However, that figure appeared extremely calm and steady, and even managed to freeze for a moment. The black leopard pounced on its head, and the figure's mouth curled up into a smile.
The axe in his hand was wrapped in a faint white light and chopped heavily into the black leopard's lower back.
Roar
The black leopard let out a miserable cry, struggling with all its might, blood flowing non-stop.
"Go die!" The figure said, with a swing of the axe in hand, another powerful stab was made, causing the black leopard to suffer a second injury!
However, the black leopard suddenly rushed towards the figure, its big mouth open, revealing its ferocious fangs, biting towards the figure.
That figure took a step back, and the axe in his hand was pulled out of the flesh and chopped towards the black leopard's head.
Ding
"It's really hard." The figure said, the axe sank instantly, using all its strength, in the black leopard's loud cry, it was split into two halves.
………..
On a giant rock in a thicket, the sun shone down on the young man. Next to the rock were two bundles of firewood. A black leopard lay motionless in a pool of blood. A sharp giant axe was placed on the rock, and under the sunlight, the blade emitted a silver glow.
A youth sat cross-legged on a giant rock, wearing hemp clothes and coarse cloth, looking slender and delicate, about 15 years old. At this time, he closed his eyes, with sweat dripping from his forehead.
The young man's nose breathed evenly and smoothly, showing a sense of rhythm. The clear wind blew by, and his clothes fluttered.
Wow
After an unknown period of time, the young man opened his eyes and saw a flash of joy in them.
"After half a month of hard work and fighting, I've finally reached the third layer of the wilderness!"
The young man knew that his innate talent was not as good as others, but he still persisted. At the age of ten, he entered the first layer of the Wilderness Realm, and at thirteen, he reached the second layer. However, for several years after that, the young man was unable to break through to the third layer.
Just half a month ago, the boy's stagnant cultivation suddenly loosened, which made him ecstatic. He then diligently practiced and finally entered the third layer of the Pioneer Realm today in an incredible manner.
The young man took a deep breath, calming the excitement in his heart, and then sank into his body, seeing that the spiritual energy in his dantian had become much thicker, like a layer of misty fog shrouding his dantian.
In the deepest part of the air sea, the young man clearly saw a stone bead quietly suspended in it. The stone bead was about the size of a thumb and was engraved with obscure ancient symbols, but at this time it was somewhat dim and lightless.
The young man muttered, "What's the origin of this stone bead?" The young man had picked up this stone bead in the forest about half a month ago. However, when he put it in his hand, something strange happened - the stone bead actually merged into his body and entered his dantian!
He originally thought that the stone bead entering his body wouldn't cause any harm, and he couldn't think of anything else. However, when the young man woke up the next day, he only felt extremely smooth inside, as if his breath was flowing freely from top to bottom, and his body also became much lighter. Nevertheless, there were black stains on his clothes, which were filthy beyond compare.
Then in this half month, the young man's strength rose steadily, and he broke through the third layer of the Open Boundary Realm!
"It seems that I was able to break through the third layer of the Wilderness Realm, all thanks to this stone bead." The young man said, his smile at the corner of his mouth was childish, but it warmed people's hearts.
Kaihuang Realm is the lowest cultivation level on the Qingyuan Continent, it's nothing but just tempering the body, accumulating some spiritual energy to prepare for condensing pellets in the future.
Only after condensing the pearl can one achieve great spiritual enlightenment!
In the Shishan Town where the young man was, there were indeed no strong people after the Condensation of Beads. The strongest one had only opened up to the ninth layer of the Wilderness, which was still very far and powerful for him!
Cultivating in the Wilderness Realm was still difficult for him, even with the Stone Bead. His talent was average, but he believed that hard work would eventually pay off! As they say, "the slow bird flies first."
The young man adjusted for a while, then stood up and said, "It's almost done, let's go back." Looking at the wild boar, he felt a little regretful, saying, "If I were to carry this beast down the mountain..." In the end, he shook his head, thinking that it would cause a big stir, but with his own strength and identity, he might not be able to bear it, and even invite some trouble.
The young man shouldered those dry firewood with his broad shoulders, holding a giant axe, and hurried down the mountain at a rapid pace.
Shishan Town, a small town built on the mountain, with only tens of thousands of people, not many tourists, and the small workshops here are all run by local people.
Shishan Town looks peaceful, but it is actually divided by two major forces: the Wang and Song families. These two families can be said to be the local snakes of Shishan Town, and they are also two opposing forces. In recent years, there have been constant disputes and even violent clashes along the lines of force division, but since the strength of both families is similar, neither side can suppress the other, resulting in a stalemate.
The west gate of Wang's house.
The young man put down the firewood and walked into the somewhat dilapidated house, saying: "Mother, Purple Grass sister, I'm back."
All that was seen was an old woman with a slightly sickly complexion sitting in the house, wearing tattered clothes, and wrinkles were gradually emerging. Seeing the young man return, she let out a breath, and the anxiety in her eyes gradually subsided.
A seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl was busy cooking and lighting the fire, wearing an apron, with her braids rolled up into a bun, a clear and pretty face that caught one's eye, although her clothes were old, but the flower-like young girl still looked good.
Upon hearing the young man's voice, someone complained: "Young master, why did you come so late? Your mother was worried sick about you."
The young man tousled his hair and laughed: "Hehe, mom, I'm fine. Look, I told you, just now I broke through to the third layer of the Pioneer Realm!" The young man showed off his strength proudly.
At this time, Zicong dropped the live thing in his hand, and his eyes were filled with excitement: "Really? Young master, you finally broke through!"
The old woman also felt a bit relieved and said, "Shi'er, you've finally reached your father's level. Our branch of the Wang family doesn't have as much innate resources as their direct line, so you must work hard for yourself and take revenge for your father!" At this point, the old woman's eyes became slightly red and swollen.
The young man said solemnly: "Mother, I know."
His father, Wang Tu, was a third-layer cultivator of the Uncultivated Land. He didn't have any special talent, but five years ago, during the conflict between the Wang and Song families, the Song family suddenly made a move, causing many casualties in the Wang family, including his young father. Although the Wang family counterattacked with a tough attitude and demanded some compensation, the amount they received was meager because they were a branch family.
"The Wang family, the Song family, both need to give an explanation!" The young man said in a low voice, although he was surnamed Wang, but he really didn't have any sense of belonging to this Wang family.
"Shi'er, but don't be impulsive in everything, act according to your abilities." The old woman was afraid that Wang Shi would do something beyond his capabilities.
Wang Shi looked at the old woman and nodded: "Mother, I know, I know how to endure."
Zi Cao put the dishes on the table and said, "Young master, mother, let's not talk about it for now, let's eat first."
"Hmm!" Wang Shi smiled and said, this family of one table felt warm and cozy.
………
In the afternoon, when the lazy and sleepy atmosphere made people drowsy, Zi Cao and the old woman went to take a nap, but Wang Shi felt invigorated instead. He sat in the sunlight, combing his spiritual energy in his Dantian, starting to consolidate the third layer of the Wilderness Realm, being patient and down-to-earth.
It was midsummer and the sun was blazing, but Wang Shi didn't feel hot at all. Instead, he felt a little cool. His body was undergoing some subtle changes that couldn't be seen with the naked eye.
"In a short period of time, I've actually stabilized the third layer of the Wilderness Boundary." Wang Shi opened his eyes and said with some surprise.
"Drink!" Wang Shi's right hand struck with full force, a strong gust of wind arose, and the bamboo forest three zhang away actually trembled slightly.
