Chapter 1 Entering the Tomb
Majiabao is surrounded by plains on all sides, with only one mountain twenty miles southwest. The name of the mountain is Jing Mountain, not high, about 100 meters, and the mountain scenery is beautiful. On the top of the mountain, a pavilion was built on the cliff, named "Wangxian", where scholars often come to enjoy the victory and view the scenery.
Halfway up the mountain is a bamboo forest, lush and pleasing to the eye. At the foot of the mountain are paddy fields dug out by people, shaped like a crescent moon. At the foot of the mountain there are five or six farmhouses, hidden among the peach trees. Every day before dawn, after the roosters crow and the dogs bark, smoke rises from the thatched roofs at regular intervals, and soon the doors open, with men going out to till the fields and women weaving cloth at home.
Not long after noon, if there are people viewing the scenery on the mountain, they will hurry down the mountain and come to the village to occasionally ask for a mouthful of water. A little later, the men who work in the fields also return home one by one, then tightly lock their doors and windows. It turns out that before night falls, the entire mountain will be shrouded in a mass of cold air, at which time people cannot stay outside.
Jingshan's day and night are like the two extremes of "yang" and "yin".
Locals say that in ancient times, the Yellow Emperor refined elixirs on Mt. Jing and after his successful ascension, he extracted all the yang energy from the surrounding mountains and rivers.
Fifteen days ago, a new tomb was built halfway up Jing Mountain, with a large-scale project, it is Miss Ma Wenshu of Majiabao.
The Ma family had a special burial ground, and Ma Wenshu was buried there, which is also strange. At the time of the funeral, there were Taoist priests who jumped strangely in front of the grave, and dark clouds covered the mountain. The farmers at the foot of the mountain were all tenants of the Ma family, closing their doors and not daring to look more.
That night, the bonfire in the farmhouse at the foot of the mountain had gone out, and the cold air on the mountain was getting stronger. The moonlight slanted to the west, passing through the bamboo leaves to form strips of pale blue light, one of which shone onto the tombstone of Ma Wenshu's grave, finally falling on three black-clad people kneeling there.
The man in black is kowtowing to a clay monkey with his butt up.
The monkey's work is rough and inferior, with bulging eyes and an expression that seems to be smiling but not quite. A long thin tail sticks up.
In the Song Dynasty, people believed in various gods. This clay monkey was not a god for protecting the home and land, but a professional god. People called it the Corpse God. Before robbing a tomb, they had to worship it. If its tail moved, it would be a great disaster, so it's not suitable to disturb the earth. Obviously, the three men in black were grave robbers.
The men in black are all surnamed Wu, the eldest is Wu Tu, skilled at digging earth and excavating tunnels; the second is Wu Huo, skilled at wielding fire; the third is Wu Jin, skilled at forging various iron tools. The three brothers' martial arts have reached the level of refining their bones, with thick and large skeletons, their strength can rival that of a tiger, they make a living by robbing tombs, active in the area of Jingzhou Xinye.
Wu Tu pressed his head to the ground and prayed devoutly, when a slight tremor suddenly came from beneath the earth. Wu Tu raised his head and saw that the corpse god's tail was swishing back and forth, its voice immediately becoming sharp and urgent. Unexpectedly, the corpse god swished even more violently, finally jumping up once before falling over.
Wu Tu suddenly jumped up and dragged the two brothers away in a rush.
The corpse god pressed down on a blade of green grass. The green grass trembled slightly.
Before long, a rustling sound was heard, and the three Wu brothers turned back.
Wu Tu gritted his teeth and bent down, thinking of the old and young at home. He didn't dare to be careless, stopping two brothers three zhang away from the tombstone.
After a moment of waiting, there was no movement. Wu Tu let out a cold breath and was about to take a step forward when he suddenly felt like something had grabbed him: the grass on the edge of the grave was actually... bulging up... Was there something inside? Wu Tu was usually brave, but he couldn't help feeling a chill run down his spine.
It's out! Wu Tu felt as if his heart was going to jump out of his chest cavity, and it turned out to be a finger! A human finger!
Lao Yao Wu's face turned pale, his teeth chattered: "Elder, elder brother."
The three Wu brothers shouted "Wow!" and turned around to run again.
In an instant, with a push of the fingers upwards, the grassy ground suddenly bubbled like boiling water, one palm, then a whole arm, followed by a head, torso, and finally a mud-covered person sprang out.
"Finally out!" Liangshan spat out a mouthful of mud and sand, shaking off the dirt on his body.
It's just as well it was late at night; otherwise, once he came out into the sunlight, his eyes would have been stabbed.
Liáng Shān looked around while stretching his stiff body, and heard someone shouting in surprise.
Where is this? Liang Shan shook his head. He had yet to clear his mind, but one thought was the clearest: escape!
Liang Shan quickly wiped his face and slipped into the bamboo forest in front of the grave.
However, Liangshan couldn't control his feet and fell down after walking a few steps, almost rolling all the way down. His long gown was quickly torn, revealing his right shoulder. Suddenly, his foot slipped into thin air, and Liangshan rolled down like a gourd, unable to cry out in pain, before plunging headfirst into the icy water.
With a "whoosh" sound, Liangshan suddenly lifted his head, his nostrils burning with fire, and he spat out three mouthfuls of icy water before he could catch his breath.
Before me lies a vast and clear spring. Under the moonlight, the water is so clear that it reaches the bottom. Pebbles and three or four small silver fish can be counted clearly.
As the ripples on the water's surface dispersed, a face with clear eyebrows and beautiful eyes appeared, somewhat pale, hair disheveled, but generally maintaining the appearance of a scholar - a right-shouldered robe, a skirt tied up at the waist, a flat hat... Liang Shan let out a heavy sigh, damn it, he really had transmigrated!
Liang Shan is the most popular violinist of the 21st century, and his rendition of "The Butterfly Lovers" has taken the world by storm.
Liang Shan is a romantic at heart, and his life's theme is nothing but falling in love, breaking up; then falling in love again and breaking up again. When breaking up, Liang Shan would tell his girlfriend: Falling in love is the mysterious fate between two people in the vast ocean of humanity, and breaking up is because only a love like "The Butterfly Lovers" can leave an indelible mark on one's heart.
Finally, Liangshan met Du Ziqing, and Du Ziqing looked exactly like Liangshan's first love Su Ya.
Before the age of sixteen, Liangshan was a hoodlum. Because Su Ya liked the violin, he also went to learn the violin. Unexpectedly, he discovered his musical talent. However, beauty is short-lived, and Su Ya later fell ill and died.
Du Ziqing was very similar to Su Ya, but no matter how similar they were, they weren't the same. A month later, Liangshan broke up with her. She cried tears of pear blossoms in the rain, but didn't cling on. Another month later, Liangshan saw Du Ziqing again at a grand occasion, and only then did he realize that she was the underworld's female emperor of terror.
She didn't make things difficult for Liangshan, but just threw out a sentence: Don't sleep with women again, once discovered, your little brother will be chopped off.
There was once a superior being who told Liangshan: You will have no way to escape in this world.
The words of a wise man have been verified.
From that moment on, Liangshan was ready to escape. With no way out, he still wanted to escape, for the happiness of his second half life.
Liang Shan carefully designed his last farewell concert at the Golden Hall in Vienna.
When playing the Butterfly Lovers' last chapter, he would pretend to faint and then be rushed to hospital, where several hours later he would be declared dead. A young man who looked just like him, already deceased, would be pulled out of the morgue to take his place in the coffin, while he would disguise himself, changing transportation along the way, until finally arriving at an unknown small island in the Pacific Ocean, from where he would live a happy life as the island's master.
Unexpectedly, the chapter of Liang Shan pulling Hu Die was really dizzying, and even more unexpectedly, he directly crossed over into the world of Liang Zhu, and he became Liang Shan Bo again. There's nothing stranger than this!
Is it because I was too deeply immersed in the violin concerto "Liang Zhu" that I crossed over into the world of Liang Zhu?
Liangshan's gaze was sometimes clear as a spring, and sometimes bewildered like clouds and fog.
Liang Shanbo surprisingly did not fall in love with Zhu Yingtai, but instead fell in love with Ma Wenshu, Liang Shan felt a bit annoyed.
Ma Wenshu is the younger sister of Ma Wencai, with a bold and forthright personality. She disguises herself as a boy to attend school at Lou Tai Academy. Liang Shanbo knows that the Ma family is a prominent and wealthy household, so he has the intention of currying favor with them and uses every means possible to get close to Ma Wenshu.
Memories gush out like a mountain spring.
Liang Shanbo is actually such a person, which is different from any version of the "Butterfly Lovers" story that Liang Shan is familiar with.
Three months ago, Ma Wenshu finished her studies and returned home, instructing Liangshan Bo to propose to her.
Liáng Shān Bó hurriedly went to Mǎ Jiā, but didn't expect to be humiliated by his elder brother-in-law Mǎ Wén Cái.
Three months later, Ma Wenshu died of depression. Liang Shanbo rushed to mourn and was driven out again. Liang Shanbo had no choice but to come to Ma Wenshu's grave to cry and complain.
At first, he pretended to cry, but later, thinking of the fleeting wealth and glory, Liang Shanbo really burst into tears. Unbeknownst to him, this one cry shook heaven and earth, and his grave cracked open, sucking him in.
Liáng Shān Bó was frightened to death by Mǎ Wén Xiù's ghost, and coincidentally, Liáng Shān, who had traveled through time, used his body to revive his soul.
Up to this point, Liangshan roughly sorted out his memories.
As soon as I crossed over, I ended up in a grave, how unlucky can one be.
Afterwards, the tomb was encountered... Memories of Liangshan became blurred again, as if floating in a dream, wasn't that a myth?
Xiūliàn, Bái Gǔ Jīng... Cultivation, Scripture of White Bone...
In the last tomb, a strange beast like an armadillo appeared. Liangshan didn't think much and quickly followed it out.
At this moment, the moonlight is clear and cold, the creek water is icy and piercing to the bone. Liangshan bit his finger hard, ouch! It's not a dream!
My god, crossing over... into the world of Liang Zhu, even with strong mental quality, Liang Shan couldn't help but be stunned.
Whoosh, whoosh, the sudden gust of wind stopped behind him, and a loud noise suddenly erupted. Liangshan's face changed, and he hastily crossed the stream, darting into the oak forest on the other side.
Just as Liangshan entered the forest, three figures fell onto the spot where he was standing.
"Big brother, where is he?" Wu Huo Bao's eyes widened in surprise.
"Damn it! I've been chasing wild geese all day, but now I'm the one who's been pecked in the eye. Catch him for me!" Wu Tu shouted angrily.
The three of them were startled out for two or three miles. When Wu Tu came to, the hand that had stretched out was not a ghost, but a person, and it was very likely someone from their own line of work.
Three people stepped like flying, crossed the stream like birds entering the forest, and soon they lifted Liangshan out of his awkward legs.
Liangshan was in the pit, secretly listening to the sound of people above. At first, he was happy, but now that he thought about it carefully, late at night and quiet, in front of a lonely mountain tomb, they were either scoundrels or thieves. Liangshan glanced sideways, three men with wolf-like heads and rat-like eyes, indeed not good people.
Liangshan quickly regained his composure and put on a smile, saying: "Three heroes, what do you want to do?"
"Big brother, this kid is pretending to be stupid." Wu Huo said angrily.
Liangshan let out a sigh of relief, as long as they could communicate with each other, it was fine.
Wu Du stared at Liangshan for a while, then suddenly shouted: "You bookworm are too bold, daring to learn the tricks of grave robbers!"
The thief shouts "Catch the thief!"?
Liáng Shān thought to smile but didn't dare, and instead spoke seriously: "I am Liáng Shān Bó! I, along with Miss Mǎ Wén Xiù, were classmates for three years, we knew and loved each other. But unexpectedly her brother Mǎ Wén Cái insisted on separating us, causing Wén Xiù to die in sorrow. Tonight I came to pay respects to my dear friend, what's wrong with that?"
"Are you Liangshan Bo?" Wu Jin's face was full of surprise.
Ma Wenshu died for what reason, Wu's three brothers have already figured it out.
"Haha!" Wu Tu burst out laughing and patted Liangshan's shoulder, "Poor scholar, don't pretend anymore. I think you're not willing to leave empty-handed and want to steal the treasure from the tomb."
Liáng Shān was almost knocked down, feeling unhappy in his heart, thinking what kind of person am I?
"Wu Huo said loudly: 'Big brother, don't waste words with him. Since this kid has been through the way, let him lead the way.'"
These three guys are indeed grave robbers. Liang Shan thought to himself that he was quite unfortunate, having just escaped from the tomb only to fall into the hands of grave robbers again.
What can be done about it?
Liáng Shān didn't have time to think much before he was clutched under Wu Du's arm. Liáng Shān almost fainted, just thinking how this man had such great strength, when suddenly the whole person sprang up into the air.
