I dreamed of liquid sun, sparks of
sizzling color and radiant beam
of childhood, holding hands with
wrinkled knowledge and faded time.
Do I have to go? Is there a choice?
Will the solar falls and star bulbs
blind my building resolve?
I will die today, closing
one dream to crack open and bookmark
another.
