Chapter 15 Little Prince
The woman drank quickly, with two empty bottles of Glenfiddich already in front of her, and she was now pouring a third.
The woman's face looked rosy, appearing to be in her twenty-six or seven years old. Although her facial features were not very clear, from Lin Fei's experience, he could tell that she didn't look bad just by looking at her figure.
Lin Fei smiled slightly, this kind of woman is the most suitable. Glenfiddich is a Scotch whisky from Speyside, Scotland, and it's not cheap, which means that this woman has good economic conditions and is not a promiscuous woman.
And she alone drinks baijiu, constantly pouring herself a drink, mostly because of work or emotional troubles, feeling empty inside.
This kind of woman usually doesn't go clubbing at night, and her age is just right, not too young or old, with a beautiful and clean body, and high quality.
In fact, it's not just Lin Fei, some other men also went up to chat her up, but they all returned in low spirits, seemingly unable to succeed.
This is a city area, a legitimate bar, generally no one will be too showy and happen to force women.
Lin Fei thought for a moment and called out to the bartender, "Give me a dry martini, with a slight modification..."
After a while, holding the well-adjusted cocktail, Lin Fei walked towards the woman.
Many men see a poor devil who doesn't even have decent clothes, yet still dares to flirt, and they reveal contemptuous or schadenfreude gazes.
Lin Fei didn't even bother to respond to those gazes, walked over there and put the pale blue-colored cocktail on the table.
"May I have the pleasure of inviting this young lady for a drink?"
The woman lifted her head, revealing a beautiful face with a hint of charm and elegance, just as Lin Fei had expected.
"I've told you several times, go away... if you bother me again I'll call the police."
She has a good capacity for liquor, drinking more than two bottles of 40-degree whiskey, still speaking clearly, only the wine gas she spits out is a bit thick.
Lin Fei knew it wouldn't be that easy, smiling: "Scotch, yes, I also like the Speyside region of Scotland's whisky, pure and golden malt, perfect craftsmanship, and dedication to highland spring water."
However, if the lady is interested, she can try a 25-year-old Japanese whiskey, which is also made from pure malt but is more intense than Scottish whiskey because it has a deposit of brewing national obsession and frenzy.
I miss you now, relying on Glenfiddich, letting the water flow through your throat, but it's hard to get enough inner release.
The woman had just lowered her head, and as Lin Fei had expected, she raised it again.
A hint of unusual color flashed in her beautiful eyes, and after carefully sizing up Lin Fei, she smiled brightly: "Your attire doesn't match your demeanor at all. How is it that you're quite knowledgeable about wine?"
"Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once wrote in his work, 'The important things in life are not those that can be seen with the eyes', just like me standing before you now, perhaps more interesting than you imagined, don't you think?"
Lin Fei flashed a confident smile, he knew that when the "prey" was interested in him, it meant they had already taken the bait.
"Ah..." The woman flirtatiously brushed aside her hair, revealing a mature and languid smile. "Is it 'The Little Prince'?"
This masterpiece of a French author, although classified as children's short literature, has artistic charm that has conquered people of all ages.
Lin Fei didn't find it unexpected that a woman with an intelligent charm like hers had read this kind of classic novel.
"Look, we immediately have a common topic", Lin Fei smiled and said.
The woman blinked and smiled: "What a pity, the Little Prince was born in 1943, and Saint-Exupéry himself died in a plane crash in 1944. Can his words be trusted when he couldn't even grasp his own life?"
This suddenly made Lin Fei somewhat unexpected, this woman obviously not only didn't get drunk much, her mind was also not ordinary sharp.
"If that's how you feel, then I can only express my regret. Goodbye." Lin Fei didn't argue, but instead turned around and was about to leave.
Before he had taken two steps, the woman called out to him.
"Hey, you're really boring, giving up so quickly?"
Lin Fei secretly smiled in his heart, knowing that a woman who had already been piqued by interest would not let go of a man she could talk to at such a lonely time.
Lin Fei turned around with a smile and sat down in the position next to the woman.
This scene made many men in the bar stare blindly, they simply didn't dare to believe that this woman was so difficult to get close to, yet she would actually be willing to drink with such a poor guy!
"I thought you were just beautiful, but I didn't expect you to be so intelligent too. My class is not good at this kind of thing, so it's no wonder I'm not staying for long," Lin Fei said with a somewhat helpless expression.
The woman snorted softly, "You men are always saying such sweet words, but in the end everything is just empty talk, a soap bubble that will burst by itself without even being touched."
As she spoke, the woman took over the cocktail that Lin Fei had brought, "Is this the Japanese whiskey you were talking about? Isn't this a cocktail?"
Lin Fei smiled and said, "Even if I could afford it, this place wouldn't have that rare wine... This is a Dry Martini I specifically ordered for you, Miss. Three parts Gin, one part Vodka and Kinalillet, stirred well to chill, and I had the bartender add an olive at the end, plus a large thin slice of lemon peel."
"Hmm... looks pretty good", the woman looked at Lin Fei with approval, picked up her wine glass and swirled the blue liquid inside.
"With such a rich and intense wine, only then can it match the moving you at this moment", Lin Fei leaned in close to the woman's ear, speaking with hot breath.
The woman subconsciously leaned to the side, seemingly a bit unaccustomed to this kind of contact.
But she still raised her head and downed a whole cup of dry martini...
Putting down her wine glass, the woman's eyes were hazy with intoxication, seemingly lost in thought. Finally, she turned to Lin Fei and asked: "Do you want to spend the night with me?"
"Do you believe I don't want to?"
"I don't believe it."
"What's the difference whether I say it or not?"
Lin Fei took the woman's whiskey without permission, using the same cup she had used, and poured himself half a cup, downing it in one gulp.
"It's really boring", the woman gave him a white eye, "Don't you want to listen, why I'm drinking alone here?"
Lin Fei shook his head, "Don't even mention it, I came here just to vent, a night of mutual consent, and then scatter the next day, from then on we have nothing to do with each other, that's what I want. If you want to talk about emotional topics with me, I think you'd better go to a psychological clinic."
"One slap and then scatter, from now on we have nothing to do with each other..."
The woman slightly furrowed her delicate eyebrows, let out a faint sigh, and then smiled: "In that case, you'd better not drink my wine again."
"Why?" Lin Fei's hand, which was just about to continue pouring wine, paused.
The woman snatched the wine bottle from his hand, turned her head, and with a sudden smile, her hair falling down: "Because I have to get drunk myself, only then do I have the courage to follow you..."
