This passage is said to have been passed down by Ling Zhengyang, the founder of Tianzheng Dao, and has been handed down for thousands of years. Although the successive generations of masters have long since declined, no one dares to forget this set of teachings. These four sentences seem like a poem but are not a poem. Many masters have inferred from the words that it is actually a diagram. What kind of diagram? It's naturally the ultimate mystery of unlocking the stone abacus.
Zha Wenbin sat down and began to analyze carefully: "Yi Shan refers to the Tianmu Mountain range, two temples, Linzhong Temple and that Yizhuang Dadian, plus the nearby Sanyuan Township, three large tomb packages, which corresponds to the first sentence."
"This dragon vein is of course the dragon vein, within a hundred miles, what can be called the dragon vein is this Tianmu Mountain range. In fact, there are not so many dragon veins in the world, all dragon veins originate from the Kunlun Mountains in the northwest, extending eastward to three dragon veins, the northern dragon from Yanshan and Helan Mountains enters Shanxi, starting from Taiyuan, crossing the sea and stopping. The central dragon vein enters Guanzhong through Minshan, reaches Qinling and enters the sea. The southern dragon vein goes from Yunnan, Guizhou to Fujian, Zhejiang and enters the sea. Each major dragon vein has a main dragon, branch dragon, true dragon, false dragon, flying dragon, hidden dragon, flashing dragon. When surveying Feng Shui, we must first understand the origin and trajectory of the dragon veins. The Tianmu Mountain range should belong to the southern dragon branch, belonging to the branch dragon vein, starting from the Zhejiang-Anhui border, passing through Tiantai into the East China Sea, crossing the strait to Taiwan. The "two bays" here should refer to the two mountain bays on either side of this Lion Peak, each with a river flowing around the mountain, which is called "dragon swimming in shallow water" in Feng Shui."
Zha Wenbin continued: "There is indeed a dragon here, but the water flow is also relatively small. After all, this dragon won't stay for long. This 'three-layered encirclement' refers to the Bagua Platform we are on now. Three layers and eight sides, each layer surrounds the other, any one of which can make you go in but not come out. If we weren't extremely lucky, we would have died several times already."
I nodded in agreement: "This is indeed true, fortunately I'm lucky, we both were washed away from the water twice, it seemed like there was no way out but we managed to force our way through."
"I had actually guessed the first two sentences a long time ago, but I still couldn't figure out the third sentence '落子不空问谁解' and the fourth sentence '笑指仙人把路遥' until today. As for '落子不空', I think it refers to that flagstone, with the Eight Trigrams Platform there should be a stone abacus, and this stone abacus is most likely those stone structures we saw on the top of Lion Peak, they are neat and uniform, obviously designed according to some arrangement, but this doesn't seem right, logically standing on the Eight Trigrams Platform you should be able to see the stone abacus. So the fourth sentence '笑指仙人把路遥' further explains the problem, '落子不空问谁借' is clearly saying that to break this abacus one more piece is needed, but my master doesn't know where it is, the '仙人' refers to heaven, so Dragon King was able to see this Eight Trigrams Platform and stone abacus from aerial photography, but where can we borrow this piece?"
"Dragon Lord sighed and said: 'To be honest with you, Wen Bin, our team has had someone research the stone abacus, but so far there are no leads.'"
Zhang Wenbin said: "Pangu has a thread of life. The Great Way is fifty, the Heavenly Evolution is forty-nine, so one is left. This is why the Heavenly Way is ruthless and views all living things as ants; yet the Heavenly Way also has emotions, leaving behind a thread of life for all living things. This is the truth that our Taoist sect has believed in from generation to generation. In ancient times, there were two methods of divination: Bu and Shi. Bu mainly used turtle shells to divine, while Shi mainly used milfoil (a type of grass) to divine. The method of divining with milfoil is explained in detail in the I Ching. Ancient people would take fifty stalks of milfoil, leave one unused, and only use forty-nine to divine. This means that there are fifty possible outcomes for divination, but only forty-nine can be used for divination, leaving one full of unknown possibilities."
Long Ya said: "Actually, in your Taoist community, there has been a controversy that after the 64 hexagrams of I Ching, there is still a 65th hexagram. Is it similar to this 'Liu Yi'?"
He nodded and said, "Yes, Fu Xi inferred the Pre-Heaven Eight Trigrams from the Luo River Map, and derived a total of sixty-four trigrams. King Wen, based on the sequence of heavenly phenomena and numerical sequences, further derived the Post-Heaven Eight Trigrams, also sixty-four in number, thus establishing the method of divination by eight trigrams that would last for thousands of years. However, both Fu Xi and King Wen firmly believed in the existence of a sixty-fifth trigram. Fu Xi spent his entire life searching for it, but ultimately failed to find it, even after carving it into the abacus stone. King Wen was also unable to find it. I believe that this trigram is the Heavenly Trigram, and whoever can comprehend it will understand the Heavenly Dao and grasp the last thread of life."
Zha Wenbin continued: "Ye Qiuren's resurrection from death has already explained some issues, so I also want to ask Long Ye to be honest with me, whether he is one of your experimental products."
Long Ye took a look at Ye Qiu and then looked at Cha Wenbin, sighed and said: "I admit that Luomen is an organization that only seeks results regardless of the means, but Ye Qiu is indeed an exception. Where did he come from and where will he go? No one knows, including the person who found him."
Ye Qiu shrugged indifferently, perhaps for him, it was better to live a carefree life than to know his own past.
It's been an hour since we fell into the water, and I'm sure the people on shore are in a state of panic by now. When so many people are involved in an accident, it's no laughing matter. The fact that Dragon Lord, a high-ranking official, is among us means that certain departments will be highly concerned about our safety. As long as we're still alive, our chances of being rescued are very high.
Since Cha Wenbin has determined that this is the third layer of Bagua Tower, everything that follows depends on how he handles it. Unfortunately, people only know that the third floor of Bagua Tower has eight sides, but no one knows what the internal structure of Bagua Tower is like, except for Fuxi's divination, and what its purpose is. However, based on the trend of the first two floors, this third floor should also be related to tombs.
The ancient Chinese believed that their souls could reincarnate after death, and some powerful people believed they would still enjoy the status of their lifetime after death. As a result, the luxurious tomb burial trend began to flourish around the Shang and Zhou dynasties. A large tomb often required half of the country's resources and tens of thousands of laborers to build. Now, these gates to the underground world are slowly being opened, but in the 5,000-year history of China, how many have truly been opened and found?
"Let's go in and explore," said Cha Wenbin, "if there's still a glimmer of hope here, the chances of finding Baozi are quite high. We've been to the first and second floors before, and judging from the architecture and remaining artifacts, it was built at least before the Warring States period. Only bronze and jade artifacts were found, no other metals. The first time we came, due to Xiao Yi's mistake, should be the second floor, and the first floor was later visited with Ye Qiu. According to the layout, the tomb should be more important as you go down, if we follow this underground river, there might be a big harvest, but I'm afraid there are many ferocious beasts like Jiu Ying guarding here, everyone should be careful."
In this vast world, nothing is impossible, and what's placed in front of me is a living example. When I was young, people would say that our generation had wild giant salamanders, and the older generation would even catch them to cook and eat. Who would have thought they'd grow to such an extent? Just like those mutated mice in science fiction, nobody knows what the reason is, but one thing's for sure - when walking around here, you've got to be mindful of your surroundings at all times, or else your life might slip away unnoticed.
Along this riverbed destroyed by the giant salamander, more and more boulders began to appear, with some as big as a truck head, and small pools of water were everywhere. I saw no less than seven or eight giant salamanders as long as my arm. To be honest, this place is only suitable for those foreign adventurers who don't care about their lives.
I muttered to myself: "I really don't understand why our Chinese ancestors built their own tombs like this, are they not afraid that future generations won't even have a place to burn incense?"
"Ah." Zhang Wenbin stretched out his hand and said: "Your words have reminded me that there is a way to speed up the progress."
I sighed and said, "Well, I'm still somewhat useful." Among these people, I absolutely belong to the kind that drags behind. Let's not mention those two monsters, one literary and one martial, Dragon Lord's physique alone could knock down a cow. As for me, heh heh, apart from this rifle, all I have left is my mouth.
Zha Wenbin took out a stick of incense from his original place, did this guy want to offer sacrifices to his ancestors?
That's right, he wants to use this method.
"However, the construction of a mausoleum is always for the dead. We cannot continue to wander aimlessly here according to our own ideas as if we were still alive. There are many winding paths and caves here, with unknown depths of rocks and water pools. If we consider ourselves as mourners, perhaps the soul of the deceased will lead us into its depths."
I said to him: "Are you sure these have been dead for thousands of years and still have ghosts?"
"That's uncertain, it's always good to try, so far I haven't found any yin energy, how about you?" Cha Wenbin looked at Ye Qiu, that guy was born with an extraordinary sensitivity to the aura of death, and had even surpassed Cha Wenbin who had been cultivating for many years.
He also shook his head, but he said: "There are no deaths, but there are many lives. Something has been monitoring us all the way."
"Big brother, I beg of you, don't say another word." I'm really fed up with this guy, either he doesn't open his mouth, or when he does, it's always something shocking and unbelievable. There's not even a ghost of evidence around, where did the surveillance come from?
Cha Wenbin's face revealed a sly smile as he said, "Let's give it a try and see!"
