Hello! This isn't a new chapter, instead its an update about the state of this novel and where I plan on taking it. At some point this will be deleted (when it's no longer necessary)

  In short, I am planning on a complete rework of chapter 1-8 of The Drifter's Curse. I realized as I wrote this story that I am not a fan of the 1st person perspective I used. My plan is to rewrite the novel with 3rd person perspective, with changes to story, description and dialogue to accommodate the change in perspective. I understand that some people reading this really enjoyed the world, characters and storyline that I made in the original draft and I want to keep the same elements that worked in the new draft. I know this might alienate people who have been enjoying the story how it was but I genuinely enjoyed writing the revised version more than the original.

  For now, I plan on keeping the original drafts but putting them in a separate volume called "Draft 1" and making the "Draft 2" volume the one that appears first. Over the next week or so I will be posting the revised chapter of the original 8, please tell me what you think! I would love feedback from anyone that is following the book. Thank you!
