The zombie's strength lies in its lack of pain from ordinary injuries, so the best way to deal with this thing is still to use talismans.
Zha Wenbin was quite skilled, why would he be afraid of a zombie? He pulled out a rope from his pocket, called "Corpse Binding Rope".
"The corpse binding rope" is entirely black, presumably because it has been soaked in a mixture of cinnabar and glutinous rice paste for a long time. The material used is high-quality hemp, hand-twisted and made. Every seven inches apart, a copper coin is connected, with a total of seven copper coins strung together, and the overall length is just over one meter.
Look at the color, it seems to be a bit old. This thing was used by Cha Wenbin's master as a belt back then. At that time, they were poor and couldn't afford a leather belt, so the crazy Taoist used this thing to tie his pants. During the house search, the Red Guards saw that the old man was so poor he didn't even have a belt, so they left this thing behind. Later, it was given to Cha Wenbin.
Wen Binli Suo took the "corpse rope" and put it around the neck of the withered corpse below, grasped both ends of the rope tightly and suddenly turned his back. Standing in front of the coffin, he raised his hands above his shoulders. His body leaned forward a bit more, arched his back, and the corpse was pulled up alive.
Because zombies have a characteristic of being unable to turn around on the spot, after this, the person and the corpse will no longer be face-to-face but back-to-back.
The zombie's strength was much greater than that of a normal person. Zha Wenbin felt that the "corpse binding rope" on his hand was almost embedded in his palm, and every time he pulled it back an inch, his palm would transmit a piercing pain.
"Hey, you two come over and help me!" Zhang Wenbin shouted.
Zhuo Xiong, Chao Zi and Da Shan rushed over immediately. With Da Shan's great strength, he freed one of Cha Wenbin's hands to pull the rope, while Zhuo Xiong and Chao Zi joined forces to pull the other end. The three men worked together, finally rendering the zombie completely immobile, a testament to their fierce strength.
After Wen Bin finished, he took a few deep breaths, and only then did he feel that he was almost pulled into the coffin by that beast. He didn't even have time to check his surgical wounds again, and immediately spread out a sheet of talisman paper. This talisman for dealing with zombies was something he had never prepared in his pocket before, because the probability of encountering this thing was really too low. Only those who were born on Red Sand Day, died on Black Sand Day, and buried on Flying Sand Land would become such creatures.
Take an inkstone, add ink, then pour in a handful of cinnabar and grind quickly before lifting the pen.
Before putting pen to paper, Wen Bin recited: "One stroke moves the world; two strokes, the ancestral sword; three strokes, evil spirits and wicked demons flee a thousand miles away." As he recited the incantation, after three successive strokes, three hooks appeared on the paper. These three hooks represent the three revered deities of Taishang Laojun, Yuanshi Tianzun, and Tongtian Jiaozhu above the talisman, while those below the divine name represent the Three Realms' Official, namely Cheng Huang, Tudi Gong, and Zushi Ye. This part is also known as the "head of the talisman."
The brush stroke turns downward, forming a "罡" character. This "罡" is not the same as the one in traditional Chinese characters, but rather uses the unique insect-bird script of Taoism, also known as "符胆". The importance of this single symbol lies in its ability to conjure up the ancestral master's name and title, inviting him to enter the symbol and transform it into a guardian deity. This is also one way to distinguish between different Taoist sects, as each has their own unique ancestral master's name and title. Wen Bin reports that his own revered teacher is Qingfeng Daoren Ma Suifeng!
The last stroke, Taoists call it "symbol foot". Drawing symbols is consistent with the Taoist education of doing things, requiring a beginning and an end, being upright, standing firm, and the symbol foot is the foundation of this spell.
In the past, Zhao Wénbīn's talismans often used the Mào Shān school, and according to his needs, he would draw divine lightning, true fire or heavenly water, fierce wind, etc. The attribute of the talisman determined the type of spell, and the most commonly used one was divine lightning. The most powerful thing about the Mào Shān school is its ability to mobilize the power of divine lightning, which can split open all kinds of evil ghosts and demons in the world.
Today, however, Cha Wenbin's mind suddenly turned around, and his eyes also began to feel a little dizzy. At this point, he didn't choose the thunder or fire, but instead followed his own heart and added a "ghost seal" on top. This ghost seal was actually an ancient Qiang tribe script, as if there was another self in his heart demanding him to write it that way.
When Wen Bin gathered his spirits again, he found that the talisman had already been written, and even he himself didn't understand why there was an extra word on it. This word he understood, equivalent to the Chinese character "诛", which means kill. This is a talisman that does not rely on any heavenly or earthly power, a single "诛" that does not belong to any attribute, but its purpose is very clear.
Looking at it again, under the joint efforts of the three people, the zombie actually began to gain the upper hand gradually, and they slowly leaned towards the coffin. This is because human physical strength is limited, and there will always be a time when it declines, but that zombie is a machine with infinite physical energy.
Cha Wenbin wanted to draw another talisman, but it was probably too late. Looking at the somewhat strange talisman paper in his hand, he suddenly came up with an idea and decided to use this unknown talisman today.
Talismans and incantations, where there are talismans, there must be incantations. Wen Bin uses the Seven Star Sword to pick up a piece of paper from the ground, treads on the Heavenly Trample Step, steps on the Seven Star Road, stands in front of the stiff corpse, raises his sword and swings it, the talisman paper sticks perfectly onto the stiff corpse's face with its mouth agape and emitting foul air.
Only then did the zombie calm down, and the two brothers felt a sense of relief, thinking to themselves: "This time we've finally subdued you."
Unexpectedly, the zombie at the front suddenly lunged forward violently, and the rope immediately rubbed against the palms of the two brothers with force. At that moment, Da Shan's palm was cut by the copper coin, leaving a bloody gash.
This is a low-level mistake made by Cha Wenbin, he actually forgot to recite the incantation!
Each symbol has a corresponding incantation, used to unlock the power of the Tao contained within the symbol. The symbol and incantation are two separate words, yet they are closely linked together.
Looking at the symbol stuck on the zombie's face, Zha Wenbin was speechless for a moment, how should this symbol be read?
The two brothers saw Wen Bin staring blankly, so they had to risk their lives and desperately pulled the "corpse rope". Chaozi shouted loudly: "Brother Wenbin, what are you still dazing about? The brothers are almost being tortured to death by this guy!"
Cha Wenbin was pulled back to reality by this sentence. In the Mao Shan Taoist rituals, although there are several talismans that work together in harmony, there is also a type of incantation that can be used with any talisman. This is the most basic incantation and is a required introductory ritual for every Taoist practitioner learning talismans.
"Heaven is round, the earth is square, the law has nine chapters. I now take up my pen and all ghosts will be subdued!" The 16 words were spoken one by one from Zha Wenbin's mouth, each word was so powerful and forceful.
Sometimes, the lowest can have the highest use. Curses are all the same, but it depends on who is reciting them! The distinction between high and low Daoist magic lies not in the category of spells, but in the understanding of "Dao" in one's heart. Those who have attained the Dao can manipulate the five elements at will, and even grass and trees can become magical instruments to dispel evil, for the Dao is in their hearts.
The incantation finished, Zhang Wenbin took out the Palm Door Great Seal and slapped it heavily on the zombie's forehead. The four characters "Tian Shi Dao Bao" were superimposed on the talisman, and the zombie immediately stopped struggling. Its originally stiff body gradually softened and slowly fell into the coffin.
Zha Wenbin hadn't expected this and shouted: "Keep pulling it up."
At the sound of the order, in Afa's eyes that were about to cry, a corpse that had already begun to rot was thoroughly lifted up by his brothers standing at the head of the coffin. He never thought that his ancestors for generations would be so cruel, if it weren't for Cha Wenbin taking action, he wouldn't have been killed by that bead, and he should have suffered this thing's poisonous hand.
The corpse that was pulled up looked ordinary, but it wasn't. As long as the curse was lifted, it wouldn't take long for it to be able to harm people again.
He raised the Seven-Star Sword, its blade bearing the Ghost Seal Script, like a deadly killing instrument. A cold light flashed by, passing through the zombie's heart area, and the green liquid flowing out of the corpse's body emitted a "sizzling" smell when it came into contact with the sword body, as strand after strand of smoke drifted upwards.
The reason zombies can harm people is that their spirits have not dispersed and have turned into essence. The heart is the essence of the spirit, and once the copper skin and iron bones are removed, the heart is pierced, and even if one has cultivated for a thousand years, it will be completely annihilated.
After this battle, Zha Wenbin was exhausted. He signaled to Chaozi and the others that they could completely let go, then sat down on the ground and said: "Cover up the coffin, then set fire to this place, can't let the things here flow out again, the zombies touched it, all of them had corpse poison on their bodies. You few go back home and use mugwort mixed with glutinous rice to soak in a bath, soak for a whole night, get up early in the morning, each prepare a adult rooster, must chop off the rooster's head by yourself, then throw the chicken head behind your back as far as you can, then need to drink another bowl of rooster blood, must drink it while it's hot."
