Chaptah Epilogue

A young man walks through a bustling city resting at the foot of a mountain, and strides up to the entryway of a black fortress nestled into it. He pauses briefly to read the sign hammered into the ground outside the door, notable for a pigeon sitting unmolested atop it.

Upon walking inside, he proceeds to the reception desk of the Guild and is greeted with a smile and an inquiry.

“I’m here on behalf of Mayor Belfor, to give Guildmaster Graham details on a quest he inquired about,” he states simply, and after a pause continues to sate his curiosity. “And if I may ask, what’s the deal with the sign outside?”

The receptionist blinks briefly and smiles at the non-local.

“It isn’t a joke if you are wondering. Just as it says, ‘Don’t fight the pigeons.’”
