Chapter 16 Hypnotherapy

  Chapter Sixteen: Hypnotherapy (Revised)

  "Dr. Bitman!"

  "Oh, dear Miss Roast, welcome."

Aida's full name is Aida Rostova.

The psychiatric clinic in this small town in Pennsylvania seems to be doing a good business, as just as they were coming in, a middle-aged man was walking out.

"My father has depression, so he comes here for treatment often. Although I haven't tried it myself, my father says it's not bad." Aida told Catherine with a smile.

"I've been looking forward to it."

  Catherine smiled.

Aida seemed to be more familiar with Bitman now, she walked over and told Bitman about Catherine's stuffy feeling.

Bitman then asked Catherine about her situation and nodded.

"Okay, over there is the consulting room, go wait for me there, I'll just write a report for you."

Catherine walked into the small hut behind, while Ida walked onto a path to one side. The design of this clinic was somewhat strange, with the path being a dead end, and then there were two benches, on which Ida sat down.

It had happened before in America that a woman patient was subjected to an enema by a doctor, but Catherine wasn't worried because Ida was sitting right outside.

Moreover, Bitman looks like he's not a talented person, but his performance is extremely dull, not like that kind of person.

There are two beds in the room.

One appears to be a gynecological examination bed, while the other is a comfortable soft bed.

"This is your first time under hypnosis... come, lie down over here."

Bitman tidied up the soft bed and then Catherine lay down on it.

He looked a little disappointed, as if he thought it would be better if Catherine or Edith came alone - he was very welcome to the large female compatriots to come alone.

Bitman opened the timer, and the clock went tick-tock, making a "da-da-da" sound.

  "Take it easy..."

  He smiled at Catherine.

"Okay, look at me. You're feeling very sleepy now..."

Following Bitman's guidance, Catherine gradually relaxed.

"I'm going to ask you a few questions now."

  "Hmm..."

Catherine seemed dazed, as if she saw a field, or maybe floating in the sea, but it seemed to be soaring in the sky...

  "What's your name?"

  Kathryn Edson.

"Alright, Miss Edson. What's troubling you?"

"It's really hard being a woman..."

  Catherine complained.

Bitman thought for a moment and roughly understood.

"Miss Edson, entering puberty, a girl's development is normal, you don't have to worry about it at all."

  Catherine nodded dazedly.

But Bitman doesn't seem to have gotten the point.

Although Catherine was dazed, some private matters would not be said.

  "Have you felt unwell lately?"

"I feel like I'm having trouble adapting to myself."

  Catherine replied thus.

  Batman also somewhat understands.

After all, he is a man.

Because it was the first time, Bitman was actually very careful, after all, even if he had ulterior motives, he still needed to gain the other person's trust first. Bitman knew that he should proceed gradually and make his move slowly.

  "What's wrong with you?"

"I hope I can feel more comfortable physically, but I don't know if I should go or not."

The thoughts of a girl in her youth are really strange, Bitman opened his mouth but didn't know what to say.

"Do what makes your body feel comfortable, it's no big deal, you know?"

Catherine hesitated for half a day but didn't answer.

Bitman thought for a moment, then said: "You should accept yourself. You are your own master, not the slave of others. If you want to make yourself feel happy and comfortable, why don't you do it? As long as what you do doesn't harm others, as long as this is your own feeling, you have no problem at all."

  "Uh-huh."

"As long as you don't hurt anyone else's feelings and don't break the law, do whatever you want to do. If it makes you feel good, go for it. Whether it's playing around, sex or something else."

  "Uh-huh."

Batman looked at the time, it was almost there.

"Alright... now, you feel refreshed and revitalized... by the time I count to 10, you will be invigorated..."

Catherine gradually came to, feeling her mind clearer than ever before, and there was no more pleasant emotion than this.

  "Alright, how does it feel?"

  "It feels... refreshing."

My whole body feels like it's going to float away.

As soon as they walked out, Aida immediately came up to greet them.

  "It's okay, I guess?"

"It seems like there's something good about it."

The whole person seems to have become more relaxed, this feeling is really good.

"Sorry, actually this time's treatment effect is not good, so I will waive your fees."

Bitman looked at the two with a benevolent smile and then took out another business card.

"This is my business card, welcome to come again next time, I can give you a 50% discount."

"Thank you." Catherine took the business card.

"Alright, we should be going too."

"Yeah, come over together when you have the chance."

  Catherine smiled.

Catherine would never go alone; after all, this era was very dangerous.

But Bitman's face changed color, as if he had eaten a fly.

No one knows what he is thinking about.

Catherine is no longer a child, and whatever she does, she must never act alone again.

Perhaps Catherine still had some lucky psychology, but she was very cautious about dangerous things.

Although it's impossible to be perfect, she is not careless and won't forget important things. That's how Bitman's idea was washed away.

Because it was her first time receiving hypnotherapy and Catherine still had some resistance in her heart, the effect was very poor.

As a hypnotist, Bitman's disadvantage is that he is a man.

Although he usually looks gentle and elegant, Catherine is not interested in men at all, on the contrary, she is very cautious, so Pitman's calculation is actually completely empty.

Catherine's problem has not been fundamentally solved, but she now feels quite good.

Hypnosis does have some effect, otherwise it wouldn't be so popular and it wouldn't have been popular for such a long time.

On her way back to school, Catherine began to continue thinking about the movie.

A series of questions about "The Blair Witch" need to be carefully considered.

Americans prefer to have a plan and make appointments, so many things are done in advance to get everything settled, which can save a lot of effort.
