Chapter 35: You just need to die.

Chapter 35: You just need to die.

Ling Fei finished a meal under the constant questioning of three women, like chewing wax, and kept saying good things. This dish was made by Mi Yue, so he couldn't say anything that would displease Sima Ke'er.

After finishing dinner, Ling Fei wiped his sweat and glanced at the three women who were busy clearing the table.

"This kind of life isn't for everyone." Ling Fei sighed and shook his head.

She touched her own face and looked at Lin Ling who was eating with a mouth full of oil, and smiled slightly; "Little Ling, are you full?"

"Ah, I'm full!" Lin Ling exclaimed with a crisp tone.

Ling Fei burst out laughing and swept her up in his arms, sitting down on the couch to watch TV. As he flipped through the dull news channels, he teased Lin Ling playfully.

Murong Shimei first walked out of the kitchen, with water droplets sliding down her white and delicate hands, just like a pair of freshly washed white jade. Ling Fei felt a little dry in his mouth as he looked at her.

Murong Shimei glanced at Ling Fei, turned around and walked into the bathroom to dry her hands. Only then did she come out; "Take me home." Murong Shimei said calmly.

"Alright, Mei Yue, I'll send Mu Rong Shu Mei home first." Ling Fei heard the tone of Mu Rong Shu Mei's voice and knew that she still had some resentment in her heart. He said something to Mei Yue and stood up, touching Lin Ling's face; "Little Ling, I'll take Aunt Mu Rong home first, okay?"

Lin Ling nodded and gave Murong Shimei a sweet smile; "Goodbye Aunt Murong,"

Murong Shimei heard Lin Ling call her, the few points of frost on her face also melted away a bit, and she smiled: "See you again, next time Auntie will come to see you."

Lin Ling nodded innocently and happily ran into the house to play with her dolls when she heard that Murong Shimei was coming to see her.

Ling Fei grabbed the beige coat that had never been changed and put it on, then hurried to Mu Rong's side, opened the door, and stepped aside to let her out first, thinking this would show some gentlemanly demeanor.

How could he know that Murong's poem was beautiful? He just hummed lightly with his nose and didn't even look at Ling Fei before walking out the door.

Ling Fei helplessly looked back and forth, Mi Yue and Sima Ke'er were still in the kitchen cleaning up bowls and chopsticks. Ling Fei sighed and followed Mu Yong Shu Mei out the door.

On a summer night, the evening breeze made people feel cool and refreshing, but Ling Fei felt waves of icy cold air that chilled him to the bone.

Murong Shimei walked quickly in the front, Ling Fei followed behind with his hands in his pockets, wanting to say a few words to ease the atmosphere but didn't dare to, so he remained silent.

In the quiet community street, there was only the sound of Murong Shimei's high heels tapping on the ground. Suddenly, Ling Fei raised an eyebrow and quickly took a few steps forward to grab Murong Shimei.

The latter let out a startled cry, but it was cut off halfway; "Uh..."

Ling Fei put one hand over her mouth and the other habitually reached for his waist, but felt a patch of emptiness, a faint chill in his heart; "Dagger!"

The ghost knife has been secretly sent back home by Zheng Dong and placed in a wooden box under the bed, all of which was done while Ling Fei was unaware.

Murong Shimei's beautiful eyes revealed confusion and terror, as if she didn't dare to believe that Ling Fei would actually lay hands on her in the street.

Ling Fei couldn't explain it at the moment either. The fleeting murderous aura from just now made him have to be careful, first using his own body to block Mu Rong's line of sight, then considering his next move.

"Shut up and don't move if you trust me!" Ling Fei rarely spoke seriously to Murong Shimei.

Murong Shimei's eyes slowly lost their terror, and her mood gradually calmed down. She believed that Ling Fei would not make such an out-of-line move without reason, and she didn't know why, perhaps it was blind trust.

The two of them were pressed together at this moment, under the dim light of the street lamp, their shadows merged into one on the ground, quite romantic.

In a split second, Murong Shimei's nasal breath sprayed onto Ling Fei's hand, almost causing him to lose control.

The palm felt the gap between Mu Rong's fingers, and an evil thought arose in his heart to stretch his fingers in, but soon this thought was brutally killed by Ling Fei.

Because that murderous aura appeared again, it made Ling Fei's heart tighten, and he was able to release a murderous aura that made him feel so strong, it seemed like he was also a good hand.

"Be careful yourself." Ling Fei solemnly warned.

Murong Shimei nodded slightly, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes. Ling Fei smiled lightly, and couldn't help but feel a few strands of sorrow and anger. "I wanted to live a peaceful life, but the heavens want to play with me, take away my loved one, disrupt my life. Now troubles come one after another. Since you like to play, I'll accompany you to the end."

Ling Fei's heart was filled with a fierce determination, his eyes gleaming with a stern light. He turned around and rushed towards the source of the killing intent.

Ling Fei had only run a few steps when he stopped in his tracks, focusing intently ahead. Following his gaze, a black-robed man with long hair slowly approached the two of them, as if appearing out of thin air without seeming out of place. His footsteps were silent, and he stepped lightly towards the pair.

Ling Fei furrowed his brow, the feeling of being grasped tightly in his heart making him very uncomfortable. But the man standing before him, dressed in a black brocade robe, indeed made him feel tense.

He smiled wryly; "It's been so many years, and I'm still this nervous."

Thinking about it, Ling Fei no longer hesitated and took the initiative to launch a surprise attack. With one foot, he swiftly kicked off the ground, and his entire body shot out like an arrow, moving at a speed that left people speechless.

In an instant, he arrived in front of the black-robed man. Ling Fei slightly jumped up, with one elbow striking towards the man's shoulder, while his knee was raised high, ready to make intimate contact with his nose.

Before he could see what the man was doing, Ling Fei's two punches hit nothing but air. The man's figure gradually faded away and slowly disappeared. "Not good! It's a residual shadow." Just as Ling Fei thought of this, his back felt like it had been hit by a truck, and he flew horizontally into the air.

He fell heavily to the ground, rolled several times, and rolled into a nearby lawn.

Murong Shimei covered her mouth and immediately ran towards Ling Fei.

"If you don't want to die, then don't move." A voice sounded behind her, and Murong Shimei's whole body stiffened, unable to move.

The black-robed man's long hair slowly fluttered up, swinging irregularly, looking very ominous.

The young man revealed a delicate face, looking quite young, with a pair of eerie purple pupils staring expressionlessly at Ling Fei in the grass.

Ling Fei struggled to get up from the grass, enduring the scorching pain on his back, coughed out a mouthful of blood that splattered onto the grass, stood up, and calmly looked at the black-robed man with an already turbulent mind "So fast, I didn't even see how he made his move."

He twisted his neck and Ling Fei seriously waved his hand; "You are the first person to force me to this point." Ling Fei seemed calm, but was mixed with anger.

The man in black robe appeared behind Murong Shimei for a flash and then emerged ten meters away from Ling Fei; "Then I'm very honored."

The man's voice is pleasant to listen to, with an impulse that makes one want to close their eyes and imagine what it would be like if he were singing.

"Speak up, who sent you?" Ling Fei's heart was not entirely desperate, but he knew that at this moment, he was no match for the man.

"You don't need to know, just do what you're told..." The man's voice was calm and emotionless, pausing mid-sentence.

The next moment, he appeared in front of Ling Fei, and before Ling Fei could react, he was knocked flying again.

"You just need to die... that's all." The man shook his sleeve, revealing a pair of pale hands with slender fingers. This was the most beautiful pair of hands Ling Fei had ever seen since he was born, although they belonged to a man, and one who wanted to kill him at that.

Ling Fei's face no longer had the calmness of just now, replaced by solemnity and pain.

"If you're going to kill me, at least let me die with a clear conscience!" Ling Fei said through gritted teeth. He glanced again at Murong Shimei, who had been frozen in the act of taking a step forward for a long time, and frowned, "What did you do to her?"

"Divine coma, murderous aura attack move." The man seemed in no hurry to kill Ling Fei, calmly explaining.

"Are you an Esper?" Ling Fei raised an eyebrow, strongly enduring the wave after wave of pain attacking his nerves.

The man patted his robe, and this action seemed very casual. "Don't compare me with that group of trash, similarly, you are also a piece of trash." This sentence was the most spoken by the man from the beginning to Ling Fei, Ling Fei knew, he was going to take action.

Not willing to sit and wait for death, Ling Fei decided to make a final counterattack. He took a deep breath, his right foot drew a line on the ground, his hands rose and fell, his movements slow and natural. His feet were shoulder-width apart, his arms hung naturally by his sides, and then he raised them again. With one move of Tai Chi, he started with "Wild Horse Parts Its Mane", his arms drawing another line, and finishing with "White Crane Spreads Its Wings".

A set of Chen-style Taiji starting form completed, exhaling a mouthful of turbid air, eyes bright and clear; "Originally I didn't want to use martial arts..."
