Two young man is sitting at a crate in the corner of a barracks, one of them is studying the way others use their blades along with their bodies, while the other is staring at another place.
The woman the young man is watching wipes her sweat off of her face, her face although bewitching has a stern look that will make one regret judging her by her appearance.
She puts back her blade in its sheath, and proceeds to walk in the middle of the barracks.
"Attention!"
As soon as the woman shouted the big and burly guys doing their own things puts back their equipment in its original place neatly, and immediately stationed themselves.
"Training is over. You can go."
And with those words the lively barracks of before soon quieted down without a sound being heard, leaving only three people there. The two young man and the girl.
She then looks at the young man sitting at the bench.
"Didn't I say that you're the only one I gave my permission to go here?"
"It's okay, right?" Replied the other young man, the young man stood up and extended his right hand"oh and my name is -"
But is ignored by the woman.
"I'm going back now too, take care of yourself Carreion."
The woman went to her servant waiting for her, she took the towel and wiped her sweat as they disappear in the castle, leaving the pair of young men behind.
"What's her deal?"
Remark the young man sitting on a crate named, Carreion.
While the young man standing stares off through the place where the woman has entered, he looks back at his still extended hand and Snickers.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Carreion stood up and pats him on the shoulder
"So where do we head to next?"
The young man thinks for a while, and as if remembering something, his exaggerated reaction shocks his friend.
"I forgot! I have something that I need to buy!"
The young man shouted.
"Then should I come with you?"
Suggested Carreion.
But the young man shook his head "it'll take a while." He replied as he fixes his things "I'll hang out with you later." He waves and runs out the barracks.
Carreion looks at him and remembers, about their plan tonight. "Oh right, Kane! Don't forget about tonight!"
The young man named Kane, who was practically sprinting slows down his pace as he listens, then he raises his thumbs up as if to say 'of course.'
After darting around the town for quite some time now, Kane finally reaches the market place.
He took the piece of paper from his pocket and looks at the things that is written there.
With the ingredients that his mother has written in this piece of paper he has concluded that their meal would be the same again.
Truthfully speaking, he was tired of eating the same meal over and over again. But it is still better than not eating at all.
He goes over to a vendor as he looks for the ingredients that his mother wants him to buy.
He took his pouch and sees just the right amount of money for the things he needs to buy, as a thought pops up in his head.
'If I took this without anyone seeing, then I'd have money for myself.'
He clenches his fist and shakes his head to remove all the thoughts in it.
Meanwhile the other passerbys, the customers as well as the vendors looks at him strangely.
He gets the the things his mother told him to get and pays the vendor.
He heads home with his head held down. He looks to his side and Infront of him and sees the beautiful homes and the people chatting merrily in this bustling street.
He then again looks to his side and sees no one, he remembers his friend, Carreion. But he also knows that everyone has their own life that they need to live.
'I really am alone huh...' just thinking it made him snicker 'How ungrateful am I to think I am alone when I have friends and family like them.'
He looks Infront of him and sees his home. He opens the door quietly, sneaking in, he watches his mother sitting in the room alone, cutting vegetables.
Then he rushes towards her and shocks her. Although he has done this to her multiple times she still couldn't get use to it, and it still scares her.
"I already told you to stop that!"
Yelled Kane's mother to no avail, as Kane doesn't seem to be listening as he is busy laughing.
He puts the things that he bought on the table, and went back outside.
"I'll be back."
He ran past out the main road and went into the alleys where few people even comes.
After wandering around for a while, he found himself facing the great wall that he sees from a distance, he brushes the vines encroaching the wall and went in the tiny gap that is barely fit for an average adult, but is more than enough for his tiny body.
And as if coming out of the closet to Narnia, he found himself looking at a forest.
He went in the forest, and stayed at the outer edge of it as he knows that it is dangerous deeper in.
He found a branch that is on the ground, he picks it up, and the branch turns into a sword in his mind.
The sword that he is imagining is a similar sword to that of the woman was holding, he stares in the forest, but he sees the woman back in the barracks.
'Her sword movement is enchanting as ever', he thought to himself.
He tried doing it, he thinks that he is doing it, but in reality his movement is not even close, and he knows it too.
Yet he does not care, each swing of the 'sword' that he is holding makes his heart beat even faster than before. As he tries and tries to copy the movement of the woman.
Before he knew it, he was drench in sweat, and the sun is already setting.
He looks at the branch in his hand and threw it in the ground as he rushes back inside the kingdom once again.
