Prologue: Descension

  Scratching. Screaming.

A brave new start. A brand new frontier.

  Falling, falling.

As thoughts came and left, a few pieces of information started being retained inside his head.

Lilith. Lilith Lin. 18 years old. Male.

One hundred and eighty-one centimetres tall. Curly black hair. Crimson red eyes.

Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.

All these information seemed unfamiliar to him. Yet, he felt that he should already have known all of these.

  Falling, falling.

His train of thoughts were suddenly broken as he caught eye of something. Two things, actually.

One looked humanoid. The other much less.

Yet, they disappear just as quickly as they appeared.

Before he could comprehend what he saw, Lilith landed on the cold asphalt floor with a loud thud.

His vision blurred. Something began to gush out of the side of his head.

  Blood.

Despite this, Lilith felt an odd sense of calm. As if he knew he was not going to die. Not yet at least.

As he saw someone approach him, his vision slowly went dark.

His consciousness was fading away, but he was still breathing.

  Still

  breathing.
