Reunion

Eugene couldn't remember much about his old classmate, Demitri. They had attended school together, but after Demitri left to pursue his dream of becoming a warrior, the two lost touch. Eugene was fortunate; his family owned the tavern, and he had no reason to leave Merton. The funeral did not come as a surprise. Although Eugene had never been to war himself, he understood the impact of it.
