Chapter 33: The Letter of Recommendation
Qi Ye was clamoring to see the body, and Xu Mao was so angry that he couldn't catch his breath. By the time he did, Jin Hu had already safely returned to his own lair.
He opened his eyes, Jin Hu flipped over and got up from the iron bed to the ground, looked at himself and became smooth again. He turned his head to No. 1 beside him and said, "Where are my clothes?"
Number One turned around and brought over Jinhu's clothes, which he put on while asking, "Is there anything new unlocked for me since I wasn't on the ship?"
"Report, Commander!" Number One replied in his usual electronic tone.
Jin Hu let out a sigh, put on his clothes and didn't even wear his jacket. He just walked out of the medical room like this. Every time he entered the warship, Jin Hu felt very relaxed, as if when one goes out, they have to pay attention to their words and clothes, but at home, it's possible to be messy and sloppy. When he arrived at his own place, his heart naturally opened up, without having to consider those unnecessary things. In this way, Jin Hu was like he had shed all his disguises, revealing his true nature from deep within, with a hint of indulgence.
All the nerves that were tense outside got a bit of rest here, and this place became Jinhu's true spiritual harbor. Jinhu still can't understand the significance of this place to his own soul, but as a living person, having such a place may be able to prevent oneself from sliding into the unknown abyss, allowing Jinhu to always maintain his inner baseline.
He stepped onto the hovercar and directly told the robot, "Go to the command cabin!" Then he turned his head and asked No. 1, "Were all the things I sent over last time stored properly?"
"Yes! Commander No. 1 said from behind."
Jin Hu nodded after listening.
As he stepped down from the hovercar at the entrance, Jin Hu's foot had just lifted into the doorway when the voice that made every pore on his body open up in comfort sounded again: "Commander of the Byakuya, reporting for duty!" All the robots put down what they were doing and saluted.
At that moment, Jin Hu understood why the bald chairman on TV was always greeted with someone shouting "Chairman arrived!" whenever he attended a meeting. This guy is indeed majestic!
"Dismissed!" Jin Hu saluted and strode towards his command chair, sitting down with an air of confidence. He looked around at the busy robots and wondered what they were all fussing about, since the warship still couldn't move. Was it just because he was in charge that they were pretending to be busy? But then he remembered that these were just machines, and he pushed the thought out of his mind.
"Flight Officer! Inform the Explorer that I'll be arriving at the Transfer Sea in two days, come pick me up!" Jin Hu turned to say to the Flight Officer beside him.
"Aye, Commander!" followed by "Mother ship calling Explorer. Commanding to proceed to transmission sea area."
"Is there a better transfer point on Earth? It's such a hassle to go to the Pacific Ocean every time." Jin Hu thought it was a bit inconvenient to run to the center of the Pacific Ocean each time.
"Several locations! Indian Ocean transmission point, Atlantic transmission point, I suggest not transmitting on land! Currently located in front of the White House lawn in the United States, in front of the Russian White House gate, in front of 10 Downing Street..."
Before the flight officer finished speaking, Jin Hu hurriedly waved his hand: "Forget it!" Now that he was alone in this place, it was no different from looking for death. Listening to this place, it was either the Presidential Palace or the Prime Minister's Office. He wasn't planning to carry out a beheading operation against these countries, so what was the point of going there?
"Let's just stick with the usual place," Jin Hu said helplessly. Going to the West Coast of the United States was still more convenient at the old location.
Jin Hu sat in the chair for more than half an hour before leaving the command cabin at the sound of the commander's voice.
After resting on the warship for two days, Jin Hu was transported to the Explorer and headed towards the west coast. Under the cover of night, Jin Hu swam ashore with a package in one hand and a cylindrical object in the other. Inside the cylinder were his two Tang dynasty swords. He decided that from now on, whenever he encountered Chinese-American gangsters who had crossed him, he would use his Tang swords to teach them a lesson. Only by beheading these traitors could he make these little bananas remember him.
Sitting on the rocky shore, Jin Hu lit a cigarette and took a break, looking out at the sea: "I don't know if there's anyone else in this world who is as miserable as me, every time I show up, I have to swim first."
After finishing a cigarette, Jin Hu put on his clothes and shoes, carrying a bag and walking along the road. He passed behind a stone and met two half-grown children hiding in the dark. Jin Hu looked at them and laughed: "I'm just passing by, I'll leave soon, you continue!" After taking two steps, Jin Hu raised his head to look at the moon above: "What a wonderful night it is."
This is not Jinhu's first time out, with a waist bag on his body that doesn't have a single penny in it, but he has over 10,000 yuan on him. When he arrived at the coastal town, he directly dialed the number given by Robin.
"Hello, I was introduced by Robin, my name is Brian." said Jin Hu over the phone.
"Oh! I've been waiting for you, why are you just arriving now? You can take a taxi over." A voice on the phone gave an address. Jin Hu repeated it and then hung up the phone.
Jin Hu made a phone call to the rental company and booked a car. He stood by the road and waited for more than ten minutes before the car arrived.
Having boarded the vehicle, Jin Hu told the driver the address and the driver didn't ask again, driving towards their destination.
Jin Hu looked out of the car window, and the more he looked, the more familiar it became. When the driver dropped him off, Jin Hu raised his head to look at the abandoned factory in front of him, and couldn't help but curse: "Damn!" It was actually the place where he had fought two boxing matches.
However, it seemed that there was no boxing match inside today, and there were not many cars around either. Jin Hu carried a bag and walked towards the entrance.
Arriving at the closed gate, Jin Hu saw a small square box with a button and a small red light on.
Jin Hu pressed a button and said to the square box, "Robin introduced, Brian!". As soon as he finished speaking, there was a creaking sound, and the roller shutter slowly opened.
He had just risen to Jin Hu's waist, and with a slight bow, he entered the room. As soon as he looked up, he saw two big men practicing boxing on the stage, and when they saw Jin Hu come in, they stopped and stared at him with a look of hostility.
"I didn't expect we'd meet again so soon" Evan, whom Jinhu had met before, smiled and walked down from the second floor, extending his hand to Jinhu.
"I didn't expect Robin to introduce you either." Jin Hu stretched out his hand and shook hands with Evan.
"Robin said you want to find a way to make money quickly? I don't know what kind of job you're looking for," Evan asked, looking at Jinhu.
"As long as it's a quick way to make money, I don't really care what I do!"
"Oh!" Evan sized up Jinhu for a moment: "I know you're good at boxing, but I don't know how much courage you have?"
Jin Hu thought for a moment: "Is this foreign devil also popular with throwing name cards? You hand out whatever, and that's it." He said, thinking of this: "What do you want me to do?"
Ivan smiled and turned around to beckon a woman who was not far behind him. The woman walked up and handed Ivan a file folder.
"This is a person's current address, the evidence he holds is very unfavorable to one of our clients, and was hidden by the police in this place."
Jin Hu took the folder and glanced at it: "Find someone to guide me, I'm not familiar with this place!" There was a white man on the folder, wearing a police uniform. Jin Hu didn't have any psychological pressure about killing a white man, he closed the folder and handed it back to Evan.
Evan turned his head and said to someone: "Kim! Take Brian for a walk."
"Alright!" A brown-skinned young man stood up, nodded at Jin Hu and gestured for him to follow.
Jin Hu didn't say another word and picked up his bag to follow Jin Mu.
Jinmu and Kim followed him silently all the way to a seven-story apartment building.
"In the room above, the one with the flower-patterned curtains, it's best not to go in through the front door, there are police guarding it." Kim stopped the car in a hidden spot and pointed at a brightly lit room on the fourth floor.
Jintiger stretched his neck and took a look: This old American's brain is missing a few screws, just this small building with iron frames hanging outside, isn't he afraid that others can't reach his home? Isn't he looking for trouble?!
"Lend me a glove!" Jin Hu took out the gun from his bag and screwed on the silencer, pointing it at Kim.
He took the gloves handed over by Jinmu, put them on, pushed open the car door and inserted the pistol into his waist. He said to Jinmu, "Start the car, don't close this door!" After finishing, he jumped lightly to the iron frame, grabbed it with both hands, and used force to push himself up to the second floor. Without taking the stairs, he jumped up the iron frame in an instant and arrived at the designated window.
He tried twice, but couldn't budge the window. The window was locked from the inside. Jin Hu closed his eyes and felt around inside, there was no danger. In a flash of lightning, he smashed the glass with one hand, instantly opening the curtains to reveal two guns pointed at the person lying on the bed. With a glance, he saw that the man had been shot once in the chest and once in the head, his eyes wide open staring at Jin Hu with a stunned expression. Jin Hu immediately flipped over and ran down the stairs.
When two heads stretched out of the window, Jin Hu had already gotten on the car and Jin Mu had started the engine and sped away.
They arrived at an intersection, and Kim drove the car into a small alley, where Jinhuo got on another car. The previous car was set on fire, with blue flames rising from it, but it was unclear what had been used to ignite it.
As soon as they got on the car, Jin Mu looked at Jin Hu and said: "It's done too beautifully! Especially from the second floor, sliding down and jumping into the car in one go."
"All I can say is that the two police officers who were supposed to be protecting us are completely useless," Jin Hu said to Kim. From the time he started shooting until he got into the car, there was a good three seconds, and by the time the car started moving, it was more than five seconds before he even stuck his head out the window, what a waste.
