The Poem for Setting the Theater

  The ancient did everything

  according to his own will,

whether he was loneliness or riot

whether they were greatness or small.

Bookworms talk about, that prison in coffin,

  With their shallowness and profanity.

Bound grave dweller laugh at bookworms,

  For their ignorance and pedantry.

If our steps of life stop when we first meet

  at the short second,

you wouldn’t lament to fan like moonlight

  in the autumn wind。

When old friend changed the heart

On original ,in the vicissitudes of age.

He just said in faltly, the heart

of old friends, are easy to change.

fan like moonlight" in the second poem is actually "picture round fan" in the original language.

lament to fan like moonlight in the autumn wind.”:The poem is allusion to Song of Plaintive, a Old Galaxium Empire work by Fagden-Magden Neseparite, in which the authoress laments the fate of fans which lose their function in autumn and are thrown aside, as a metaphor for her own sad fate of being old and decayed and ignored by the emperor.

Song of Plaintive is as follows: "Round fan, Circular fan, looks like bright moon." there is no description of "there are pictures on the fan" in this poem, so I choose to according its origin in translation, describe fans as "fan like moonlight" rather than "picture round fan".

Fagden-magden: The third rank of the emperor's wifes. The word literally means "beautiful woman" in its original language.

Song of Plaintive and her other two works Spread Verse to Washing Pale, Spread Verse to Mourn Myself are Neseparite' were created for lamenting her sad life that has been wasted.
