Chapter I: The Arduous Journey

Guo Guo had already lifted the huge stone, weighing over 2,000 catties, and it trembled slightly as he held it against his chest and then placed it on top of his head. His two large ears pressed against the bottom of the bluestone, making his body seem to suddenly sink into quicksand or a swamp, slowly disappearing into the mud at a visible rate. Countless ants and centipedes scurried about in panic beneath the bottom of the bluestone on top of his small head.

Guo Guo turned around, made a face at Liu Zhen, playfully wrinkled her nose, and stuck out her small pink tongue. A bead of sweat slid quietly down her cheek, making it sparkle even more brightly.

Liu Zhen and Helen stood there like wooden chickens, staring at the small figure being slowly nailed into the mud. The tombstone covered the original position of Guo Guo.

"Ah!" Liu Zhenhong almost pounced forward, flipping over the stone. He had no time to consider why he had become so powerful, only feeling a heat in his arm, a surging power coursing through his entire arm. The massive stone was like a dough stick or a bun, lifted by one hand, tracing a beautiful arc, soaring into the air, "Crash!" smashing countless stalks of bamboo.

Helen covered her mouth with a delicate small hand on one side, looking incredulous.

"Guǒ guǒ!" Liu Zhenhong pulled out the little thing that had sunk into the mud, and Guo Guo looked as healthy as a noble who had just eaten his fill, except for the earthworm on top of his head which somewhat ruined his image.

"My goodness!" Liu was shocked and tightly hugged Guo Guo in his arms.

"Campas is up!" Helen exclaimed in front of the recumbent stone that had crushed several Buddhas belly bamboos: "Its really a cursed power!"

Liu Zhen was stunned by the sight of the bluestone stele, and he himself was also a bit shocked. Although his strength was not small, but he didnt have the arrogance to think that he could move such a large piece of bluestone.

He lowered his head and looked at his own hands, which were still his original hands without any difference.

Were these hands the ones that created this miracle? Liu was shocked by himself and also shocked at his own self.

"The curse of the Blood Offering has taken effect!" Helen groaned in agony.

"Damn the birds feathers!" Liu Zhen said slightly irritably, "Curse away! Id like to see what this crow can curse me with! I havent offended it in any way!"

"Let me see you... Oh Richard..." Helens small hands searched all over Liu Zhens body, her trembling hands accompanied by her trembling and out-of-tune voice.

"Its all fine! Not a single part is missing! There was no magical backlash at all!" Liu Zhen actually felt anxious in his heart, but still forced a smile.

Helen rushed into his arms, punching Liu Zhens chest with all her might, scolding as she hit: "Do you know how worried I was about you! You stupid pig-headed Muggle!"

"Of course!" Lius heart was filled with happiness: "I am indeed a Pig-headed Matchmaker! There is no need to doubt it."

Helen realized her mistake and quickly broke free from Lius arms again, smoothing out her wavy red curly hair.

Liu Zhenhong hehe chuckled twice, silly smiled, patted his mouth, and was still immersed in the soul-stirring hug just now.

"Why isnt there a magical backlash? Is the power not even considered magic?" Liu was overjoyed and rubbed his hands together, saying: "Then Ive hit the jackpot!!"

"Hurry up and clean this up, lets get out of here." Helen looked at the giant turtles corpse, feeling indescribably strange: "As for this matter, Ill ask my mentor about it when I get back."

"Whats the point of burying it now?" Liu Zhenhong glared at the giant turtles corpse, spitting out a mouthful of phlegm: "Originally wanted to bury it, but now it seems like a waste of effort!"

"Richard! This is not in line with the teachings!" Helen disagreed.

"Alright, Ill send you up the cliff first, then Ill come and bury it." Lius eyes flickered with cunning.

Helen didnt resist anymore, her stomach was also a bit hungry, she had been busy for so long and hadnt eaten anything, just drinking some water, her physical strength had also reached the point of exhaustion.

Liu Zhenhuan carried Helen on his back, nimbly climbing up the mountain cliff along the vines. Liu Zhenhuan felt the powerful force transmitted from his arms burning in his heart and body, excessive excitement almost made him unable to control the slight muscle spasms all over his body.

Helen was frightened, seeing Richard climbing up the tree trunk while his body trembled, Helen had a strong illusion that he was about to fall and meet the god of war.

After sending Helen to the cliff, Liu Zhen returned to the bottom and did nothing except urinating beside the giant turtles corpse. Go bury the giant turtles corpse? Dream on!

The wolf skin mattress and unfinished wolf skin boots were also picked up by Liu Zhen, who stuffed them into the empty turtle shell. There was an unexpected discovery that made Liu Zhen very excited - the bright pearl taken from under the giant turtles jaw, which had been soaked in rainwater and mud, couldnt be seen clearly at first, but after being wiped clean, it emitted a soft light similar to moonlight, cold and clear, not dazzling, but very bright, illuminating everything within a 15-meter radius.

Liu Zhens famous name, Ye Mingzhu, had been heard before, but he never thought that one day he would meet him. Liu Zhens big mouth couldnt be closed, what a great fluorescent lamp! Liu Zhen thought to himself.

Buddhas belly bamboo was pulled out together with the bamboo roots, and Liu Zhen was shocked to see many of them being uprooted. Now he has a bit of the momentum of a newly rich man who has just made hundreds of millions, and he cant help but show off his divine power everywhere, while admiring himself in various poses.

Liu Zhen also went to try the Reclining Cow Stone.

Normally, he couldnt see it even if he didnt use his strength, but when he exceeded his original power, Liu would feel a surge of heat flowing from the mouses body to his limbs, and he would immediately become like Xiang Yu, with incredible divine power.

Liu Zhenhong estimated that he couldnt tell how heavy the green stone was, but one thing was certain: lifting this stone didnt require much effort from him. Compared to before, it was like carrying a bag of fertilizer - not too strenuous. Thinking about Guo Guos struggling expression, Liu Zhenhong felt extremely satisfied in his heart.

However, when using this divine power, there is also a huge flaw. Every time the divine power is used, the "second brother" under his crotch will immediately become erect, just like receiving a battle horn. This is the only thing that makes Liu Zhen feel uncomfortable, but he deliberately ignores it. Compared to the divine power, this flaw can no longer be called a flaw.

Liu Zhen is completely messed up.

The entire bamboo forest was filled with his obscene laughter.

Along the direction of the Andes trade winds, the bamboo raft sails with the waves, there are clouds in the sky, and its moving very slowly.

Liu Zhen and Helen have been drifting at sea for almost half a month.

In the distance, where the sea and sky meet, a faint blue mark appeared. According to Helen, that was the famous Narlen Strait of the Aegean continent. After turning around Narlen Cape, you can enter the Aegean Sea area, and after sailing for half a month, the vast Donau Plain hidden under the snow-capped mountains of Taymurlaya will arrive, and the long-dreamed home - the Kingdom of Bimon is also in sight.

The excitement of almost seeing home had tempered the difficulties of the two peoples journey, and Helen and Liu were both happy and sad. The hardships along the way could hardly be described in words.

Bamboo rafts made of whole sections of Buddhas belly bamboo, under the erosion of seawater, the tree vines used for bundling had long been on the verge of collapse. If Liu Zhen didnt make a double-layered raft, this bamboo raft might have disintegrated a few days ago.

The torn sail, made of wolf and water-hare skins, stitched with fish-gut thread, had also become tattered and wind-leaky after encountering a storm.

Liu Zhenhuan spent two months preparing for this voyage, but didnt expect that after actually setting sail, the crudeness of the equipment would be exposed in no time.

The coconuts tied behind the bamboo raft, originally towed in the sea water to move forward together, unexpectedly encountered a tiger shark attack on the third day of launching. The coconut string, which was struggling to move forward in the sea water, was mistaken by the tiger shark for some kind of delicious bait, and with one bite, it crushed a pile of coconuts. Liu Zhens painstakingly prepared freshwater resources and vitamins were lightly bitten by this tiger shark and turned into foam.

Fortunately, in the large tortoise shell on the bamboo raft, there were still dozens of golden-green striped melons hidden. Under Liu Zhens long-term care and cultivation, these melons had just matured before he set sail, only a little smaller than the ones Liu Zhen had eaten before, but with the same sweet and refreshing taste as before.

Guo Guos frosty snow-chilling air can also freeze seawater into ice blocks, which provides Liu and Hailan with a bit of fresh water. After the seawater freezes, it becomes natural freshwater. However, Guo Guos magic is too weak, and he can only use his frosty snow-chilling air twice a day. Moreover, he has to eliminate more than half of the freshwater he creates himself.

Liu Zhen was about to set off, and he burned a lot of charcoal. He also used stone chips and clamshells to build a stove on the bamboo raft, preparing to cook some seafood. Unfortunately, when the tiger shark attacked the coconut tree, it also knocked all the charcoal on the bamboo raft into the sea.

Since then, the salted fish and cured meat that had been prepared in advance became decorations, and live fish, guano, and raw bird eggs became Liu Zhens and Helens staple food. Guano is a crystallized substance formed by the calcification of bird droppings buried underground, which is the best source of vitamins; but Helen couldnt eat it at all, let alone live fish and raw bird eggs. Liu Zhen was forcing her to eat, and because of this, Liu Zhen and Helen had their first falling out.

Helen eventually fell ill, her bright red ceremonial robe covered in sweat stains that had crystallized into salt, her originally plump and rosy lips now covered in blisters and withered. Liu Zhen didnt dare eat a single one of the cucumbers, leaving them all for Helen; the cucumbers were too small anyway, and after Helen fell ill, she couldnt stomach eating unwashed fish slices that were still dripping with blood, so Liu Zhen wanted to leave these cucumbers for her. None of the seeds went to waste either, as Liu Zhen carefully wrapped them up in his own sock after drying them out.

Helen, every time she propped up her frail body and invited him to eat together, Liu would pat his belly loudly, repeatedly pushing away the offer, saying he had already eaten a lot.

Liu Zhen said this with an uncontrollable twitch of his lips.

Two people supported each other, drifting endlessly on the sea, without the romanticism they had imagined, only the unspeakable hardships, the scorching sun evaporating all the water in their bodies, the shortage of food, crushing their will and spirit to the bottom line.

Every night was the happiest time for the two people, gazing up at the clear and refreshing sky, Liu Zhen held Helen in his arms, with a bird and a beast lying on the bamboo raft, together they lay on their backs counting the stars in the sky, enjoying the only beautiful moment of the day without the scorching sun overhead.

The soft and elegant glow emitted by the night pearl provided them with the best lighting.

Liu Zhen was overwhelmed every time he smelled the faint scent of fox musk coming from Helens body, and he felt like he was about to ride the wind back home.

Just as they were able to see the Narrows of Hell, Helens illness became more and more severe, her beautiful face gradually replaced by haggardness, only her head of smooth, shiny, dark red hair remained unchanged.

As the giant statue of Nalruns sword came into view, Helen was getting closer and closer to a moribund state, lacking nutrition, her weak body was completely shrouded in the shadow of death. Liu Zhen was anxious, his eyes wide with worry, but he couldnt find any way to cure her. For the first time, Liu Zhen felt regretful, regretting why he had left that island and embarked on this unknown journey.

Helens smile on her face was getting more and more faint, the familiar fragrance still lingering around Liu Zhens nose, Helen started to continuously stroke Liu Zhens face with trembling hands, her mouth could only dryly call out "Richard Richard".

Liu Zhens heart shattered into countless pieces.

What is the most painful thing in the world? Is there anything more frustrating than watching your loved one slowly fade away before your eyes, while you yourself are powerless to stop it?

Liu Zhen made a lot of efforts, even risking his life to dive into the deep sea to find some seaweed for Helen to supplement her vitamins, but the water was really too deep and he himself didnt dare to be distracted.

The acidic fish eagles cries grew more irritable every day, Liu Zhen knew that it was the demon pets spiritual resonance with its dying master, but he was really powerless to do anything.

"Richard... hold me..." Helen said weakly.

Liu Zhens eyes suddenly became moist.

(The background music "Unconditionally for You" starts playing.........)
