Chapter 6: The Army Presses the Border

A noble promise depends on who it is made to. ---------- Said by Liu Da Guan Ren.

  *******************************************************************************

"Lord Bimon, your groundless conjecture makes me extremely indignant!" Old Xu calmed himself down and protested with a stern expression. He began to re-examine this Bimon, whose stupid appearance hid his sharp insight, which made him feel a chill run down his spine.

"You're not thinking that way, I think you're a fool! If it were me, I'd definitely do it that way! People should have some aspirations, after all." Liu Zhenpeng patted Fogel's shoulder. "However... my conditions remain unchanged, you have two rings, and I only want one of them. Leaving one for you to contend for the world shouldn't be bad either."

  ................

"Don't use silence to protest again, even if I've hit the nail on the head!" Liu was shocked and splashed out again, "Your silence has challenged my fragile patience! If this goes on, I'll have no choice but to throw the dragon meat into the sea!"

"Alright!" Fogelson gritted his teeth, "I've agreed to it! But I also have a condition..."

  "What conditions?"

"You must give me this tortoise shell." The old man stroked the massive tortoise shell as if caressing a beloved woman.

"Agreed!" Liu Zhenhong didn't think twice and immediately agreed. Kid, still thinking about the four Dragon Balls in that tortoise shell? Let Grandpa teach you what it means to be despicable. Liu Zhenhong said to himself.

"We all swear by our gods that this contract is now in effect. During this period, neither party shall harm the other's personal safety. If anyone betrays their promise, they will die without a whole corpse!" Fogersen Xu proposed.

"No problem." Liu Zhenshen casually followed the old man's recitation of the contract, making an oath in the name of the war god Kampas.

Kanpas? Liu Zhenhong sneered in his heart, who the hell knows him.

"From now on, you are the owner of the 'Penglai' ship." Foggson Xu took off the thumb ring with a sly smile and handed it to Liu Zhen.

Liu Zhen took over the blood jade ring and handed over the "Dragon Meat" he was holding in his hand.

Liu Zhen was laughing very happily.

"Lean in closer, I'll teach you the incantation to summon the Golden Man's startup array." Fogelson's body couldn't help but tremble, and his hands that received the "Dragon Meat" were shaking even more violently.

After learning the incantation, Liu Zhen was excitedly fiddling with the blood jade ring on his thumb, over and over again.

  Fogerson. Xu patted his hand.

"Behold, Lord Richard! The loyal Panda warriors of the Pantan tribe will follow in the footsteps of our ancestors' oath, we will defend your honor and dignity with our lives!" Kudou walked over from one end of the deck, knelt down on one knee, and loudly pledged his allegiance to Liu Zhen.

Behind him was a row of majestic panda warriors like hills.

"I shall bestow upon you the honor and status that corresponds to your loyalty!" Liu Zhen couldn't help but secretly think with a smile, he counted the number of Panda Warriors, there were twenty in total, twenty strong black-and-white striped big heads.

Fogerson. Xu hugged the large tortoise shell and that string of "dragon meat" couldn't help but burst into laughter, tears streaming down his face.

The panda warriors all looked at him with disdain, no longer hiding it.

"Die before me, you bear!" Gu De glared at Old Xu, and with a huff, spat on the deck, even cursing in the dialect of the panda tribe.

Old Xu raised his head, rolled his eyes and gave Gu De a back of the head.

"This ship is mine? Liu Zhen was taken aback, narrowing his eyes as he stared at Old Xu, hardly daring to believe it, and wanting to laugh."

A dull sound of conch horns echoed over the sea surface.

Innumerable dark clouds were like galloping horses, quickly sweeping across the sky above the ship's body, with flashes of lightning zigzagging and exploding in mid-air.

"The Penglai" was slowed down by the suddenly violent waves, and the huge sail made a "whooshing" sound in the raging wind.

In the symphony of tides and thunder, a huge square array appeared neatly on the distant sea surface, with surging waves making them look like elves standing on the wave crests.

"What a grand fleet!" Liu Zhen was taken aback, "Alright everyone, take your positions and prepare for battle! Also, get me a decent captain's coat, I'm not going to negotiate with the Sea Clan looking like this!"

Fogerson. Xu also restrained his wild laughter, his face solemn and serious, raised his hand to adjust his hat, and carefully looked at the rolling dark clouds above his head.

"My heavens!" The old man's face was stiff and a bit unsightly: "It must be the Makura tribe's tidal crab people! They are the magicians of the sea tribe - Storm Ripper mages! This is definitely the regular army of the sea tribe!"

"He's also a head on his shoulders, he's also a life! A white knife goes in, and a red knife comes out." Liu Zhen shook the old man's arm and stuffed him into the turtle shell. Fogelson Xu was pinched by him and cried out loudly.

"Don't worry!" Liu Zhen shook his head, patted the old man's already white face: "If they wanted us dead, they would have made their move long ago. The bigger the scene they make now, the more it proves they want to save their princess! The more they're afraid we'll jump into desperation."

"You... how can you... not be afraid at all?" Fogelson asked, hugging the shell's ribbed pattern and shaking slightly.

"You be you, I'll be me!" Liu Zhen said with a smile, pulling up the corners of his mouth.

Xu Lao Tou watched him walk far away.

Liu Zhen stood at the bow of the ship, his waist straight as a spear stuck in the ground.

The dark clouds grew more urgent, lightning flashed across, the wind was strong, blowing a burst of misty air on the sea surface.

With a sharp whistling sea breeze blowing, Liu Zhen's hair was blown into a daze, and Liu Zhen shook his uneven hair with force.

The soothing spiritual battle song voice, covered the fierce sea tide sound, and resonated vigorously.

Liu's eyes turned into a streak of long, intersecting knife lights in the room, coldly casting.

Behind them stood a row of robust and majestic Panta warriors, their cold spears gleaming with an intimidating light.

Fogerson. Xu let out a sigh and withdrew the exposed "head" back into the "turtle shell".

The dark and turbulent waves crashed with a huge roar, splashing everywhere. In the distance, the gulls and geese that were foraging for food cried out in dismay as they flew lower and lower in the lightning.

In front of the hull of "Penglai", a sea tribe army's appearance was getting closer and closer in the surging waves.

Distinctive flags with clear patterns woven from different colored seaweed, stood still in the fierce sea wind, with the prominent crown and trident emblem standing out even more. Four or five majestic Bannilu whale warriors, like gods of the sky, ceaselessly drove their inverted whales forward, swimming back and forth, shouting wildly as they commanded their neat formations. The iron anchors in their hands gleamed piercingly in the lightning.

Dozens of short and stout figures with all-over red cuirasses and two long whiskers on their heads, stationed at the four corners of the square formation, kept crossing their hands, chanting towards the sky. Each time they chanted, the rolling of dark clouds became more rapid, and the crackling of lightning appeared more frequently.

In the low but unusually clear sound of the conch horn on the other side, Liu Zhen commanded Gu De to drop anchor.

"Lend me something to use." Liu Zhenhuan pulled out Fogelson from the tortoise shell.

Before long, a white flag was raised on the mast of "Penglai". It was made from a high-quality white gown.

In the turbulent sea water, countless silver-backed fins "swished" past the side of the ship and then turned back into a square array.

A golden coral-made chariot, pulled by four long sea dragons with ten blades each, rushed out of the sea tribe's phalanx. The steel whip-like bony rings on the sea dragon's body appeared and disappeared in the seawater from time to time, and the tubular giant mouth continuously sprayed a string of huge water vapor, which fell down in the air.

On the chariot, a tall and majestic man stood, holding a golden trident in his hand, with gold armor all over his body. Two poisonous eyes shot out from the only gap in his helmet, staring tightly at Liu Zhen who was standing at the bow of the ship.

A mighty roar from the sea dragon, Jin Jia reined in the reins, waved the trident in his hand, and countless silver dorsal fins emerged from the water, approaching the "Penglai" at a breathtaking speed.

A flash of light, countless silver scales leaping out of the water. The cyan-gray fish body was as long as three blades, with a spindle-shaped streamlined body, and an exceptionally eye-catching upper jaw like a long spear. On their backs, they had fins like flags, which, after being exposed to air, flapped in mid-air, producing a sound similar to that of wings fluttering, propelling the entire fish body forward, like an arrow leaving a bowstring, creating a visual afterimage as it shot straight towards Liu Zhen on the bow of the "Penglai".

Their speed is faster than lightning, their long spear-like upper jaw, under the cover of dark clouds, emits a color of death shadow.

"Arrow fish!" Good cried out, rushing forward to shield Liu Zhen.

In the face of the arrowfish's speed, any action can only be described as slow. Good even only completed a stride, and the arrowfish had already arrived in mid-air. Each arrowfish twisted its dorsal fin with a "whoosh" sound in the air, changing direction by an angle, without any sudden or awkward turn, directly piercing through the sky above the bow, and then diving back into the dark rolling waves.

  Barefaced provocation!

The color of the sky has become thoroughly gloomy, as if it had suddenly fallen into a deep and profound darkness.

Tiny raindrops fall, and are blown away by strong winds.

Kudou and the panda warriors behind him lit up torches and wind lanterns, which were strange, square in shape with a surface that seemed to be pasted with paper, but floated slowly upwards into the sky, regardless of the heavy rain and strong winds, stubbornly and slowly rising into the dark clouds. Although the light was a bit blurry, it still opened up a brilliant light band in the surrounding pitch-black sea area.

Panda warriors stand in the wind, torches "hiss" and are blown out intermittently.

The golden chariot of the sea god was drawn by four sturdy sea horses, approaching the ship within an arrow's distance. The raging waves rushed to his feet and immediately became gentle like a small stream, opening up a path for him to drive through with ease.

"The merfolk in the sea are all masters of controlling water elements." A hint of worry that couldn't be hidden appeared on Good's thick face.

Jin Jia stood up from the golden coral sedan chair, Liu Zhen didn't see a fish tail, he saw a pair of sturdy legs, on top of which was an armor skirt with intricate carvings.

Jin Jia looked at Liu Zhen with a playful gaze, and Liu Zhen also carefully examined him.

Jin Jia waved the trident in his hand, a golden scale light flashed, and a huge golden tuna broke out of the water, shooting straight at the white flag on the mast.

A magnificent arc flashed by, the tuna's rudder-like giant tail made a fierce sweep in the air, and amazingly really hit the white flag high above, elegantly holding up the white long gown with slow motion falling into the dark sea water.

Suddenly, a loud explosion sounded, and Liu seized a torch and flung it at the goldfish in mid-air. A cluster of red sparks scattered across the night sky, and in that instant, the sparks illuminated the originally dark mast to a brilliant, lantern-like brightness.

"Teach them what it means to have proper manners!" Liu Zhenpeng shouted loudly.

A fishing spear with unparalleled power, "Dang" a dull sound, with sharp inverted hooks and three-edged spearhead pierced through the eyes of the tuna, and was fiercely stabbed into the mast, the fir wood tail of the spear quivered in the air with a "buzzing" sound.

Along the wooden handle, a new blood groove opened, and "sizzling" fresh blood sprayed out with a sharp whistle. The misty blood water was blown by the wind, some fell on the sail, and some fell into the sea. The tuna struggled in vain for a few times, stopped moving, and its tail also hung down softly.

In the wind, on the huge and sharp long snout of a tuna, a white robe was fluttering lonely.

Ku Te's hands were empty, and the fishing spear that had been stuck in the tuna's eye a moment before belonged to him.

"Die before you catch me!" Gu De roared at the army in the sea.

Thanks to Redbeard for reminding me that pandas should have some Sichuan dialect added.

I like books, Ha brother, adding essence is not representative of my thoughts, but to encourage everyone to discuss with me. This book mainly uses a Western background, which is almost certain.

I've been updating like crazy for two days, haha, over 20,000 words in two days, at this rate, I won't even need to wait for VIP.
