Chapter 37: Ichinose’s Plan

When Hikaru presented his pn to Css 1-B, the students responded in unison.

After all, they weren't fools—knowing that Css 1-D had no iion of saving their points, waiting any lht genuinely result in rec nothing at all.

"I agree with Hikaru-kun's idea. I 't believe those guys in Css D are so reckless with their points," Shibata spoke loudly, still shocked by the information revealed earlier. "Spending that mu just a week? Unbelievable."

"Why do you think they were pced in Css D in the first pce? It makes perfect sense," audent added.

"I think so too. If we wait a few more days, their Css Points will probably drop even further. It's the perfect time for Hikaru-kun to collect the points on Monday."

  "Agreed."

Seeing that the css was unanimously supportive of his decision, Hikaru was about to move forward with the pn. However, remembering his promise to Iose, he decided to take a different approach.

"Alright, since everyone agrees, let's make it official by voting," Hikaru said, addressing the css with a posed expression. "I believe that for future strategies, we should always hold a vote before implementing any major pns. This way, we ehat everyone is involved in the deaking process and that our pns are supported by the majority."

"This approach allows us to pool our ideas together, ensuring that the best course of a is taken for Css B," he added.

  "That sounds good."

  "Let's vote, then!"

Although some students were slightly fused as to why Hikaru didn't just proceed, they had no objes. After all, they trusted his leadership.

"Iose-san, you hahe vote t?" Hikaru smiled at Iose, signalio take charge.

Uanding the i behind his words, Iose felt a warm surge of appreciation in her heart. She nodded firmly and took the lead in anizing the vote.

"Everyone who supports Hikaru-kun's proposal, please raise your hand," Iose announced fidently.

In an instant, every single hand in Css B shot up without hesitation.

"38 votes in favor," Iose decred. "That means the pn will be officially carried out on Monday. Thank you, everyone, for your support."

"Alright," Hikaru ransitioning to the phase of the meeting.

With Css D's financial situation addressed, it was time to focus on Css C.

Although Hikaru had retly set Ryuen up for suspension, trag Css C's spending habits remained crucial to eheir long-term strategy remained on course.

"Now the's move on to Css C. Those responsible for monit their spending, please report your findings."

pared to Css D, the results were noticeably better. While there were still a few extravagant spenders, the overall financial habits of Css C were far more servative.

Whe report was delivered, Hikaru put down his pen.

Despite the seemingly small gap between Css D and Css C, the differen spending habits was vast.

"I'm sure everyone has noticed from the reports," Hikaru began with a small smile, "Css C is far more cautious with their points."

"Does that mean we should wait a little longer before approag them?" someone asked.

"If their spending is lower, wouldn't it be better to let their Css Points drop even further before iating?"

"But didn't Hikaru-kun already force three of their students into suspension?" Audent pointed out. "That should've cost them a signifit number of Css Points, right?"

"Exactly," Hikaru nodded. If he had followed his inal pn, he would've waited another week before approag Css C. However, Ryuen's as had disrupted that timeline.

Now that three Css C students had been suspended, it was iable that their Css Points had already dropped signifitly. Even if they weren't spending as recklessly as Css D, the current window was too good to pass up.

"Let's adjust the pn. Once we secure the deal with Css D Monday, we'll move on to Css C immediately after," Hikaru decred. "I want all point colle operations pleted within the week. We 't afford any ued variables."

  "Sounds good."

"I support it. The sooner we collect the points, the better."

  "Alright then, Iose-sa's duother vote."

  "Got it!"

Now fortable with the process, Iose Honami effitly led the sed round of voting. The results were the same—38 votes in favor.

"With that, week's operations are officially set," Hikaru cluded. "Iose-san and I will hahe iations with Css D and Css C. Does anyone have any s?"

"No objes here. We trust you two!"

"Yeah! If Hikaru-kun and Iose-san are in charge, I'm sure everything will go smoothly."

With Css B having collectively ied iwo-million-point expulsion insurance, everyone uood the importanassing as many Private Points as possible. Hikaru and Iose's pn had their full bag.

"Iose-san, would you like to close today's css meeting?" Hikaru turo her with a small smirk, giving her another opportunity to take the lead.

"Alright," Iose smiled warmly, stepping forward to address the css.

"Everyoomorrow and the day after will be our first weekend sinrollment. You've all worked really hard this week." She made eye tact with each student, speakily yet firmly. "Now that Hikaru-kun's pn is ihere's o collect additional data over the weekend. I want you all to rest and recharge."

"Let's take this time to rex so that we e baext week even stronger!"

  "Uood!"

"If anything es up, just message me—I'll be avaible anytime," oudent offered.

"Same here! I'll be on standby if you need me," another chimed in.

With that, the css meeting ended on a high he weekend roag, and Css B was in excellent spirits.

Just as Hikaru was about to leave, Iose suddenly leaned in and whispered in his ear.

"Hey, Hikaru-kun… Tomorrow, I pn to meet up with Kushida-san. Want to e along?"

"?" Hikaru turo look at her.

"Since we're pnning to collect points from Css D, wouldn't it be smart to do some research first?" Iose expined pyfully. "And who better to ask than Kushida-san, the one person who's friends with everyone in Css D?"

Hikaru's eyes widened slightly before a slow smile formed on his lips.

"Well, well… That does make sense."

"Then it's settled! You have to e," Iose grinned.

  Hikaru chuckled.

It was almost too perfect—he had been w how to approach Kushida Kikyo, and now Iose had vely set everything up for him.

A braock had just hit the market.

There was no way he was letting this opportunity slip away.
