Chapter 401

Anton was a bit surprised the next day when a storm suddenly arrived. Still, nobody seemed worried, and the daily regular business of Amelia moved forward without any interruptions. According to Antonia, the storm, although it looked fierce, was not unusual, and the ship had a stabilizing magic that allowed the Amelia to navigate the storm without experiencing too much imbalanced movement that could cause dizziness.

Of course, this was not the first storm that Anton had experienced inside the Amelia. It was just during the first time, there was so much excitement that he didn’t notice that the ship wasn’t moving too much.

The only thing he remembered was that Anton prepared some of his enchanted floating boards so anyone who suffered too much from vertigo due to the storm could rest on top of it, but his healing auras managed to solve any dizziness the storm caused.

Also, there was still movement, and that meant that the stabilizing magic that Antonia had boasted about wasn’t that effective, and that made Anton lose interest in that specific magic.

The day was mostly the same as yesterday. Anton spent the first few hours attending his classes. One good thing was that the lecturers mellowed down. High Wizards Dorman and Nando slowed down and settled on a pace that made their lessons easier to absorb. High Wizard Dianne made her lesson faster, so now the pacing of all the lecturers was the same.

The three lessons were supposed to last for a couple of months, meaning each teacher would teach them a total of twenty-four lessons. After that, Anton and his five classmates could choose to continue with the lessons if a continuation was available or select any other classes that would start at that time.

After the lessons, he ate lunch with his classmates again, and during that time, they spent an hour talking to each other to deepen their friendship. Everyone there knew how important it was to have a connection with Anton since he was already an archmage, and Anton knew that it was important to have as many wizard friends as he could get.

If it was the normal times, he would have been wary in befriending a lot of people since, based on the web novels that he had read, in the world of wizards or any other genre for that matter, betrayals were rampant, but Anton thought that there was a huge chance that sometime in the future it would be humans against undead.

There was a dread in that thought but some sort of excitement as well. He was hoping that it wouldn’t come to that, but he would be prepared to give it all if that arrived. He was ready to live as one of those people in the world of Diablo, living in some sort of sanctuary, fighting against powerful undead.

“I’m so glad that you’re not of those uptight, powerful noble wizards, Anton,” Fiona said.

“You know that no more than a year ago, I was just a farmer’s son, so of course, I wouldn’t have the behavior of a powerful wizard, much less a noble wizard,” Anton replied and then he told Fiona that her name was one her favorite princesses in an animated film.

That opened up a can of worms since, unexpectedly, all of his classmates were fans of the movies. It was unexpected since most wizards were focused on their magic studies and practice trying to rank up as fast as they could and normally would not have any time for hobbies like watching the films, but maybe because of their age, Anton’s classmates were also movie fanatics.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

“I don’t remember any characters named Fiona,” Helios said.

“It’s a movie that hasn’t been shown in the cinema yet.”

“How come you’ve seen a movie that hadn't been shown yet?” Minerva asked.

“I thought you knew. My family owned the cinema and all the movies that is going to be shown there was already been seen by me,” Anton said and that surprised his classmates.

A flood of questions from them suddenly arrived, and Anton patiently answered each one of them, avoiding any spoilers or any plans that he had made with his family.

After lunch, everyone was responsible enough to stop so they could joined their family to fulfill their obligations there and Anton hurried back to the suite since he knew that the mages in the family was waiting for him so they could start their magic practice. Once he arrived there, Anna glared at him and told him that he was late, but he just shrugged. He headed directly to his room and entered his Diablo II system while the mages began their practice.

Anton spent an hour creating enchanted items so he could accumulate items that his family could sell. The items that he made were the ones that he had made before, like the air conditioner, magic items, the ones that produced water, the stove that could be used as a heater, and more. As usual, he still preferred to create lifestyle enchanted items instead of weapons or armor.

While creating the magic items, Anton remembered his plans before that he wanted to tackle, like creating one-time used talismans, but those plans were set aside because he simply did not have any time.

After making around three items, Anton continued leveling up his character and only stopped at around six in the evening. His Assassin did level up to level ninety-two, so just a few more levels and he could focus on hunting the “Best in Slots” gear for the assassin, then he could start with a new character.

At around six before dinner, he practices his guitar and his singing by following the lessons from the website that he purchased them for. He didn’t want to let go of his music since it really did help in calming his chaotic thoughts.

When Anton’s father arrived together with the other members of the family, he stopped his music practice and joined them for dinner. While they were eating, Anders told everyone that the hype for the new film they were planning to present was growing. Mostly a lot of people were curious about animation since this was the first time they would ever see one.

Nemina then shared the funny reactions of the Norbunians when they learned how much the ticket was for the cinema on board the Amelia since the price was miniscule compared to the one they paid while they were in Norbuna. She had to explain to the Norbunians that the economy of the ship was stagnant, so they couldn’t charge exorbitant prices for the tickets, and mostly, the films that they were presenting were some form of advertisement for the cinema that they would establish once they reached the Gale Continent.

To be honest, even though the ticket prices were extremely cheap, Anton’s family was still earning a lot of coins from the passengers of the Amelia but he wasn’t feeling any guilty or some such thing because Antonia informed him that almost all of the passengers already allocated a budget from their finances for the viewing of the movies for the whole time they were on board the ship.

Some of the richest people even allocated a budget for buying tickets multiple times to rewatch the films if they wanted to.

After dinner, Anna requested to watch an animated film instead of the television shows they were watching, and since Anton wanted to watch Shrek again due to remembering the film because of the name of one of his classmates which was Fiona, he decided to play that film and to no surprise, everyone enjoyed it.
