The moment Anton sat down in one of the chairs at the table, the hotel restaurant servers brought in the food that his family had ordered. While they were eating, Anton asked what had happened with the purchase of the copy of The Lord of the Rings films.
“The only thing I could say is that Antonia is a genius businesswoman. She was able to drive up the price. That meant that your family is now truly well off,” Nemina was the one who answered.
“We now had the funds to immediately purchase a house and a cinema once we arrived at the new continent,” Anton’s father said.
“Oh, good. I was a bit worried since I had spent all my coins buying materials that I could use to make enchanted items. I planned to make a lot of those while we were at the ocean, so we will have something to sell once we stop,” Anton said.
“Okay. I’ll give you some coins later so you will have spending power to buy whatever you need or want,” Anders said.
“What about me! I need funds too!” Anna exclaimed.
“Your brother does spend coins that will earn the family a lot more, but I’ll give you your allowance later after we talk about what things you want to buy,” Anders said.
“The Amelia will leave at around ten in the morning tomorrow, so everyone, please prepare yourselves,” Antonia reminded them.
The good thing about this leave-taking, in Anton’s opinion, was that he didn’t have to say goodbye to anyone since everyone that he was close to would be on the ship as well. After dinner, everyone prepared to rest since all of them were exhausted. They had not had a proper rest for the last few days because of how busy they were, but no one was regretful since they truly enjoyed the Cosplay Event.
“Are you going to hold another event like this?” Anna asked Antonia and Lucia.
“I wish you would. It was truly a joyful event!” Belinda shyly commented.
“We will on the next stop, but that one will be grander and would encompass all the movies that were shown by the cinema. That one would last longer since the next stop will last longer,” Antonia replied.
The conversation, headed by the girls, headed towards which costume they would wear and when Anton suggested that the girls should wear what the characters from the science fiction film Avatar wore including a blue body paint, they all looked glared at him but Anton just laughed it off.
“That would be interesting!” Devon said that he was off somewhere and would be back early the next day.
Anton saw Lucas’s son gesturing towards Frederick and Colin, and when they followed him, he knew that they would probably be going to the red-light district. Based on Lucas and Nemina’s expressions, they were well aware of where Devon and the others would be going, but such things were part of the mercenary life, and it was normal for Devon or any men of age in this world to do something debauched especially if they could afford it and because of the magic of this world, those who had coins were not afraid of catching any sexually transmitted diseases.

Devon once told him that all high-class brothels hire the services of healers to make sure that their girls and boys were clean. More than likely, once Anton got used to the idea, he would probably avail of the services of those pretty women, but for now, he was too embarrassed to do so.
Since Frederick and Colin were going with Devon, Anna loudly asked where they were going, and of course, the men ignored him. Lunelle whispered in her ears, and Anna turned red and sniffed her nose at the men.
“Are you not going with them?” Anna taunted her brother.
Anton ignored her as well, but his sister received a scolding from their father. He noticed that his father tended to want to protect his innocence for as long as possible. He would have liked to tell his father that he didn’t have to worry since he was much too focused on his magic to consider other things in life. He even had movies and television shows as well, so more than that was not really possible anymore.
After dinner, they continued talking about different things. Nemina purchased a lot of things that the citizens of Norbuna specialized in since, based on the situation, it would probably be a long time for products to come from this place. They would sell those items in some other places, and Nemina reckoned to keep them for a while and would sell them once the prices blew up. She was not the only one who had that plan since every merchant on the Amelia was doing the same thing.
At first, Anton thought to ask if they would continue selling regular items instead of just focusing on the cinema and the enchanted items that he planned to create, but then again, he let it be since it was their decision anyway.
All of the girls also spent a part of their day helping Anders and Nemina buy things that they needed. Most of the items they purchased were things that would assist them in their magic practice.
Anton noticed that after the girls started practicing magic, their focus shifted toward increasing their wizardly rank, and according to Frederick, it was the normal behavior of mages.
Anton joined their discussion regarding the spells they chose to learn because the fact of the matter was that he was the same rank as them in terms of knowledge when it came to the standard magic of this world.
They discussed deeply the pros and cons of the different spells they had purchased.
“I wish I can see how the spells work,” Ramona said softly.
“Actually, there’s a way. In the world where I take the movies from, they were also experts in creating some sort of games based on different things but mostly based on magic and wizardry. They played these games in a machine called a computer, and they had simulated some of the spells, and some of them were, for some reason, extremely similar to our spells.”
Anton then projected a screen to the nearest wall at their table using his Globe of Browser Sharing spell and played some of the DnD games that were uploaded by gamers on the most famous streaming website. He selected the video that showcases the different spells from the different schools from the game Baldur’s Gate 3.
The good thing was, there were only a few people left in the restaurant so they didn’t bother a lot of people. They listened to the narrator describing the different spells, and Anton had to pause the video to reiterate that the one narrating the video was a gamer and not a wizard and that what he was saying was not applicable in real life. The only reason they were watching the video was for them to get some inspiration in using the same spells.
The funny thing was, everyone stayed to watch, not just the mages in the family.
“How do they play these games?” Anders asked.
Anton had to show them videos of how games worked, and each one of the people there was fascinated by the devices from modern Earth that they could see in the videos. He had to answer a lot of questions from everyone, and the topic diverted from showing how the spells looked like when cast to different technology currently available on Earth.
His family was not unfamiliar with some of the technology since they had already seen several science fiction films like Star Trek: The Next Generation and James Cameron’s Avatar.
