Anton tried to remember if they had seen movies with repeat actors before but gave up. They had already seen a lot of films and television shows, but even with those, he would still consider his family and friends as newbies when it came to watching movies.
It was just that everyone, including himself, was taken aback when they saw Edward “Ned” Stark, since the actor played a villain that redeemed himself in the Lord of The Rings and the scene of him dying from the arrows of the Uruk-hai brought tears to a lot of people’s eyes. His role in Game of Thrones was almost the same, which was one of the nobility. Then he was a princeling, although not really, since his father was a steward, not a king, and now he was some sort of lord, so there was a little confusion.
“You’ve told us before that the movies are just made by actors and what you call technology but most of the movies that you’ve shown us were so well-made that I sometimes thought that we’re watching another reality through some sort of magic window,” Antonia said with contemplation and by the look on everyone’s faces, they agreed with her.
“I understand, but from now on, don’t be surprised if you see an actor in different movies since the best ones were almost always hired by the producers of those films and shows,” Anton said.
“I remember! King Robert Baratheon is Roland in A Knight’s Tale!” Anna suddenly shouted, and for a second, everyone paused a bit to think about it and agreed with her.
“King Robert is so old, but Roland is not!” Ramona commented.
“The movies were created in different times. The movie A Knight’s Tale was created several years before the show Game of Thrones was made. Not only that, even if the movies were created in the same year, if the characters were supposed to be older, makeup and special effects could make them looked younger or older,” Anton said.
“I imagine then that some actors should have massive following,” Lucia added, and Anton nodded.
He then described the fame and wealth that famous actors enjoyed in the dimension from which the movies came.
Anton’s father then asked Selena when the schedule for the second episode would be, and she answered that it was supposed to be the day after tomorrow, but Anders said to change it to tomorrow night. Selena just shook her head and obeyed, taking note of what Anders had said. Everyone agreed since no one was busy tomorrow night, and they were all excited to watch the next episode.
Anton knew that there were some scandalous scenes in the show and wondered how everyone would react when they saw it. He was a bit nervous since Anna was also watching the show, but he didn’t know which episodes those scenes were. He guessed that he could do some research over the internet, but it would be a little unfair to restrict Anna from watching them. Besides, he shouldn’t compare the moral prohibition of this world with Earth, but just to clear himself, he decided to talk to his father.
After about an hour of talking, everyone went to their rooms to rest, but Anton asked his father to go to his room and told him that he wanted to talk about something first, so Anders followed his son to his room.

“What do you want to talk about, Son?”
“I’ve read some details about the show Game of Thrones. It was said that some scenes are very scandalous. There is male and female nudity, and this is a spoiler, but I think you should know so you can decide if you want to restrict Anna from watching the show. Cersei Lannister and Tyrion Lannister, the twins, are having a sexual relationship with each other and it would be shown in the series. In my opinion, it was fine for Anna to let her watch the show since she should be mature enough.”
Anders only paused for a bit.
“It’s fine. Let her watch the show. I’ll just teach her what’s right or wrong,” Anton’s father said.
It was expected. They were a farmer’s family in a backwards world, so the taboo scenes in the Game of Thrones show were almost normal. Even the nudity was not that scandalous. Anton thought that the moral standard was based on how people behaved in a situation, not because of the situation itself.
Anton breathed a sigh of relief regarding the Game of Thrones show and Anna watching it. His father made his decision, and he just had to follow it. After their talk, Anton’s father went outside his room. He then prepared himself to rest by taking a shower first then instead of entering his Diablo II system, he just wasted his time by surfing the internet.
The next day was the weekend and the movie Stardust was still the film that was showing at the cinema. He didn’t go out with his friends since they had told him the day before that they would be busy with their families that day, so Anton, with nothing to do, reread the books that the teachers in his magic classes had given him. After a few minutes, he got bored, so he entered his Diablo II system and continued leveling up his Amazon character until he got hungry.
During lunchtime, he went outside his room and saw that everyone was already practicing their magic, so instead of going outside and asking everyone to stop for their practice for a while, Anton just went back inside his room and ate some of the cooked food stored in his inventory. They were quite good anyway since he only stored the best food.
Instead of going back to leveling up his Amazon, Anton decided to continue watching the slice-of-life anime that he had started watching before, which was Barakamon. He watched the remaining four episodes then he returned to leveling up his character.
He only stopped an hour before dinner and recorded another song for the Café Music collection; then, he went outside to join his family. As usual they talked about what happened to them during the day but mostly they talked about the upcoming episode for the new television show that they were watching so after dinner, everyone excitedly went to the home theater corner of the suite and waited for Anton to play the second episode of season one of the show.
The title of the second episode was The KIngsroad and nearly all the action of the episode happens during travel. Ned Stark and his daughters accompany the king’s entourage to King’s Landing to occupy the post of The Hand of The King. Tyrion Lannister joins Jon in his travel to the Wall. The newly wed Daenerys goes with her husband's Khalasar to the city of Vaes Dothrak. Meanwhile, in Winterfell, and a grieving Catelyn Stark watches over her unconscious son Bran.
The title of the episode refers to the long road that snakes throughout Westeros, eventually ending at King's Landing.
Anton could only say that the show was magnificent. The two episodes they had seen so far were like movies. The qualities of the acting of the characters and the setting of the show were superb. He now understood why everyone raved about the show and was glad that he had the chance to watch it.
After the show ended, the discussion started and everyone was full of speculation on what would happen with each of the characters.
“There’s something different about this show from the previous shows that we’ve seen like Xena and Hercules,” Anna said.
“I know! The people in those shows were clean, but in this show, it was as if the people were truly living people and not actors,” Lunelle exclaimed, and everyone nodded, agreeing with her, even Anton.
