Captain Robertson replaced the Supreme Numinor in the magical speaker.
“We are forming a company of warriors that will help protect the ship in case we get boarded. Please go to the dining hall to volunteer yourselves if you have the capability to defend the Amelia since defending our ship means protecting your family. Lastly, we expect nothing but stringent discipline from everyone. Please stay in your rooms to avoid causing chaos. Again, may the divines help us all.”
“If we need to defend ourselves from boarders then we are already doom. We will not be able to survive if the coalition ships get near enough to the Amelia for them to board us,” Devon said.
Anton saw that all the girls looked scared and worried, which were the very same expressions that he had seen everyone wear before when they were running away from the undead when they were in Rendindura. He thought that it would be a long time before he could see those expressions again.
He always knew that their fate with the Undead Coalition had not ended. Even though Philip and Walter told him that even if the Coalition was ambitious enough to target the lands beyond Rendindura, the Gale Continent would not be their priority because of the distance. Not only that, they told him that New Drennor was powerful enough to defend itself from any type of invasion.
Again, that was what Anton thought when they arrived in the city of Zalnothel, but then it only took a few days for it to fall. He remembered that before they arrived in that city, Anton thought that in that place, he would use all of his powers to defend the city from the undead. Because of his system, he had a belief that he was becoming powerful enough to contend with the coalition, but when they arrived there, he learned that he was greatly, greatly mistaken.
He remembered that it was said that the city of Zalnothel was protected by several Supreme Wizards and then some Invincible Wizards, but then it fell in just a few days. That was when he thought that the world would ultimately be devoured by the undead and the humans would defend themselves by placing themselves in some sort of a last bastion, Diablo style. He thought that that was the reason why the Diablo II system was given to him when he transmigrated to this world.
Because of what Antonia, Lucia, Walter, and Philip had told him, he thought that he and his family could begin living a relatively normal but prosperous life in the new continent. Now there were six hundred Undead Coalition Ships just a few months away from the new continent and they were now being pursued by two hundred ships. Anton thought that he had to accept the fact that his life in this world would truly become like the survivors in the world of Diablo.
He knew that he was becoming a little grim, but because of the situation, Anton couldn’t help himself. He was now a pissed that his system update would take four weeks. He needed power fast since there was a chance that the undead ships would catch up to the Amelia, and the only way for him and his family to survive was to use his power and give everything that he had.
“Everyone, please remember to double-check the enchanted floating board that Anton created in your spatial items. There’s a chance that we might need them to survive. Also please make sure to check if you have sufficient mana power banks that will let you recharge those boards. Anton, you have to create more boards for Selena, Norma, Belue, Serafina, Craidy, and Helen,” Anders informed everyone.

“Who are Serafina, Craidy, and Helen?” Anton asked, and his father glared at him and pointed at the female bodyguards that Anders had hired to protect Anna, Lunelle, Belinda, and Ramona.
Anton was embarrassed, so he waved at the female bodyguards.
“The mages will go to the temporary mage academy to receive your assignments; the rest will remain here. There’s no sense for us to join the ship’s fighting force since Devon is correct. Once the Undead Coalition ships gets near enough to board us, that meat that the ship had already lost and we should just focus on escaping. Anton, summon all the animals that you think could protect us best,” Anders said.
Anton summoned all the Ravens since they could use them for communications. The fact that he could use his Raven’s eyes and ears to check the surroundings was a good skill that he should have practiced more. He kept forgetting to purchase spells that would allow them to communicate with his family so the communication could be two-way. Since he could use his Raven’s eyes and ears, he assigned two of them to the mages and three of them to his father’s team.
He then summoned all the wolves and assigned three Dire Wolves and two Spirit Wolves to protect all the family mages, and the rest of the wolves would remain in the suite to protect his father and the others.
He also summoned the Dire Bear, which would remain in the center of the suite, and the Clay Golem, which he ordered to go outside their door.
Antonia, Lucia, and Philip then left to join the ship’s higher-ups since they were the relatives of the owner of the ship and they needed to be where the center of information would occur.
After that, Anton, Anna, Frederick, Ramona, Belinda, Lunelle, and Walter said their goodbyes to the rest and then exited the suite to go to the hall assigned as the ship’s mage academy so they could receive their assignments.
While they were heading to the mage meeting hall, Anton thought of Maide and Bailey. He loved their family horses and knew that if the worst came to worst, he might not be able to save them. He had too many friends that he wanted to save, and he couldn’t prioritize Maide and Bailey even if he loved them.
He then thought of Antonia, Lucia, Philip, Torun, Andrea, Blake, and Soren. If something truly happened to the ship, how would he be able to save them?
Anton knew that he was becoming too dark and hopeless already. There’s a chance that the Amalia could survive this ordeal since they did have an Invincible Wizards and several Supreme Wizards on the ship, and they didn’t have to fight it out with the Undead Coalition ships, just use their spells to outran the two hundred ships pursuing them.
The moment they arrived at the place where the ship’s mages converged, before Anton could even join the queue to receive his assignments, a harried-looking mage approached him.
“Archmage Anton! The Supreme Wizards requested your presence,” the mage said.
Anton knew that the mage who approached him was one of the Supreme Wizard's assistants, but he couldn’t remember his name, so he just nodded and followed the mage.
He was led by the mage outside the temporary mage academy towards the ship’s officers' offices. They climbed several decks until they arrived at some sort of hall. When they entered it, the people inside were already deep into their discussion.
Anton recognized some of the people in the room who were Supreme Wizards, and when the mage who had led him to the hall left, he knew that all the wizards in the meeting hall were Supreme Wizards. Seated at the head of the table was a beautiful woman with wild, curly red hair, and he could actually see some sort of static electricity flowing around the woman’s hair. Because of that, he assumed that the woman was the often talked about Invincible Wizard.
