The man awoke to the same room, with no differences once more after he slept. There was no evidence of night or day, so he could not tell. He walked around the room, thinking of what the next test could be. If he was truly made to be a soldier it could be more maneuverability, or weapon training. The man did not know for sure though.
The man could only wait to be told what the test was, or wait for food to be delivered, or wait for a wall to open up, or wait for information to be given to him. He was heavily dependent on being told things. Though like many other things in the prison, he could not realize this.
He would soon undergo another test, or he should at least. The voice had told him they would perform 4 tests on him then he would be set to his platoon, with a skill based ranking system. He wondered what the skill ranking would be based on, such as their maneuverability, use of tools, brain power, etc..
He wondered what rank he would be, and what the ranks were. He thought that the highest ranks would be captain, and vice captain of the platoon. He did not know about ranks below that, maybe squad captains, or car drivers, or something else. He could not find out until he was in the platoon.
At the moment, he wasn’t thinking at all about this, and was instead thinking about the test that he would undergo next. He kept running the same thoughts and ideas through his brain, but he then started thinking about another part of the test. This part of the test was the time it would be done.
This was much less to think about as it was just certain time periods. Maybe it would be ten minutes from now, or twenty minutes. He kept thinking, and he came to the conclusion of around an hour, but he skipped right past the right this moment mark, and thought it wouldn’t be right now this moment, but it was.

A random wall in his room slid to the left slowly, revealing a platform, once more, and a new room. He walked out onto the platform, and there was an assortment of multiple things beyond it.. There were boxes, walls, walls with steps on them, and much more.
The voice began to speak giving him his directions, “This test is like the last one. You will maneuver around the presented obstacles to reach the end of the course, and the test will be completed, and it will end.” He already had this idea floating around in his brain just from looking at the obstacles, but he would still complete the test the same way.
He was going to jump from side to side across the obstacles and complete it. He would put the plan into action soon, but yet again there was a gap between the platform and the first obstacle. He would once again have to jump, and for his life at that. Or that's what he thought, since he couldn’t even see the bottom of what seemed to be an endless pit.
He jumped the gap quite easily, and began his fast pace race to the end. In the entire course, there was not one place where he could rest. He had to do it all in one take, and he wanted to do it fast. He jumped from obstacle to obstacle flying through the air as he jumped, and he was making progress towards the end.
He grabbed on tightly to an obstacle once he landed on it, then quickly let go as he jumped to another one. He finished the test in no time, and took 7 breaths during it. He was exhausted, and the gas filled the room once more. He breathed it in and was knocked out.
He awoke, and saw food in his room once more. He ate it again for the second time, and went to sleep. He would wake up in the morning in the same room, waiting for another test.
