Hey there, dear reader.

  I don't know the story of how you got here, or what you're like. But I appreciate that you're here nevertheless.

  This book wasn't exactly intended to exist.

  It just started out as a daydream of mine, imagining what it would be like had a few select people existed. I loved to read, and oftentimes reading was a way for me to escape reality.

  You could say they were my imaginary friends. They were how I kept away the loneliness, and in a way were a part of me.

  But as I grew, slowly but surely these people grew up alongside me.

  Soon, a world began to take root from these characters.

  And one day, I decided to make my little dream a reality.

  So in a way, you could say this book is my story.

  Yet you could also say that I'm as much of a reader of this story as you are.

  So thank you for being here, and accompanying me as I watch this little corner of reality blossom.

  I'm looking forward to what'll happen next in this story we call life.
