A gust of wind trails around your face, you wake up and find yourself in a dream like world. You see clouds far beyond the horizon where there was nothing but clouds in your line of sight.
Strangely enough you didn’t bother questioning it, it is as if it’s your own home you’re walking into a weird sense of nostalgia takes over you as you find yourself walking down this cloud like world, when suddenly a dark foggy like silhouette formed right in front of you.
As the cloud clears itself you approached the figure and see its face you recognize yet can’t seem to recall, a face who felt important to you yet you’ve long since forgotten who it is.
“Help him ----" as the word comes out of her mouth the figure raises her arm gently and pierces your heart as you feel something has been imbued within you.
Then you suddenly wake up and find yourself surrounded by hellfire and buildings that have been obliterated to smithereens. Mountains and mountains of piled bodies right on top of each other, a smell so repulsive you instinctively pinched your nose in disgust. A horror beyond men can comprehend, dark sky with fire that feels like it’s engulfing the entire world around you as its embers stretch beyond the sky above.
Despite all the dead bodies you see before you, those who survived are screaming and you were brushed alongside them some even fell when they accidentally ran over you, looking to find answers in that moment you follow them along with the wave of crowds that come before you.
You see buildings on fire, people with their limbs missing and some clinging with half their bottom mutilated. You assess your surrounding in the pit of hell you were thrown into when by chance you meet soldiers who dawn the same uniform as you; your comrades who were fighting against hordes of monster, one of which are one of the best of the best but their power becomes utterly useless when they were faced with beings beyond their comprehension, in a swift moment their blades betrayed them and they fall to the ground, unmatched. A sharp blade that many warriors wield became a mere butter knife in the face of those creatures.
But you didn’t hesitate, despite knowing that they were your friends you keep on pressing yourself with surprising sneakiness away from the horde despite your fear, blending in with the crowd you masked yourself away from the creature’s line of sight and force them to gut down whoever were the farthest away forming a safety around you in a cruel nature way encasing you tightly along the crowd protecting you from the monsters as a meat shield.
Finally, you reach a dark alleyway where some of the people that were with you become more and more apparent that a few hundreds of you have been trinkled down to just two or three. The scream becomes distant as you reach the alleyway it was silent and some droplets from the building’s leftover water from the rain seep down on you.
Then you hear a voice calling out for somebody as if begging for someone to notice them, you hesitate to call them out as to not attract the monsters but when they got to you, you are met with a face of distraught almost tired but also a sense of hope in their eyes; as if this person had been searching for you this whole time.
You look closely to notice that the person is wearing the same outfit as you and a familiar emblem engraved on the soft cotton-like texture, it never dawned upon you until just a moment ago that you were one of the same. A soldier of this country, the same one who fought bravely to endure the monstrosity that befall to this world.
Then they handed you over an item that looked important, in an instant a circular object was formed on their palms as they speak of a language that you’ve never heard before, without a second thought they cast a spell on you which granted you the ability to fly, then after that with all their might they pushed you away from the ground and you were in the air floating towards a temple like building in the distance, taking the momentum from the push and the gravity along with you.
You were on the sky leaving the rest of the people and the soldier in the alleyway. But despite that you see his face in contempt as if their entire life mission has been fulfilled, without a waste he reached out to his blade and braces himself. In the distance you see a couple of loose monsters that have been looking for him, a familiar scene that you have seen countless time. That’s when the creature massacre them in an instant leaving no room for a fight, it was nothing short of a brutal feast upon its prey.
As you float in the sky momentarily you were granted peace of mind, the world was engulfed in a fiery haze; a fog with remnants of fire embers that spark other nearby buildings on fire the world was beyond saving it is hell itself, as if the gods themselves have abandoned it. You feel a sense of lost as you ponder about this world you’re seeing; you catch your breath to once inquire your sense of identity despite being robbed of it you never lost sight of that mission. Nevertheless, you need to go, in your heart you know despite everything that has happened in those moments. The lives that were taken. The forgotten comrades. Everything. your conviction never left your heart you knew that you have to go to the temple and find answers for who you are.

Lost in your own thoughts you tumble down and hit the ground you’ve hurt yourself but despite your injuries you feel a sense of relief then as you look up a figure appears before you, it takes the item you were carrying and hurried itself over to the temple, then you pick yourself back up as you go to follow her.
“Just in time Human. You were cutting it close.” – Said the figure that was hovering over you.
Every sense of dread has been washed away as you let this figure do their work, as you’re taking in your surroundings to recollect yourself, you’re still bothered by your hollowed identity.
“Who am I?” you ask out of desperation as your voice tremble in exhaustion.
The figure tilts her head slightly, her hair shifting with the movement. Her eyes narrow with confusion.
“You don’t know who you are? Or perhaps some kind of a rhetorical question?” The figure then steps closer, inspecting your face. “Perhaps some kind of a brain trauma that you’ve sustained during your journey here?”
“I had a dream… of somewhere--- with somebody I knew but I don’t remember who they were, there were buildings on fire and people run—”
“The terror you describe is no mere dream—it is real. You survived it and that is all I care about. You say you remember nothing, but I remember you well. “The figure then smiles as she ponders of a memory that she once cherished
“I’m also your betrothed.” As those words leave her mouth her fangs were borne as it shines dimly under the light, a smile that you once saw that day, a smile that can be mistaken for a monster but yet it resembles that of a face you fondly remember of.
“Once this is done, why don’t we partake in a feast?” In a sad tone she spoke with encouragement but behind that spirit feels a sense of weight
The item that you were carrying then glows as it shines illuminating the surrounding darkness that encroached the temple, finally basking a light onto the figure that was standing next to you. Yet another familiar face that you can’t remember, but despite it all you remained remarkably calm in her presence as if you knew her for a very long time.
As the figure stands up to approach the glowing item, a rumble was heard from a distance and a gust of wind blows toward the temple, the sharp gust of wind swivels around you as it carries the stench of blood.
In a frantic moment the calm collected figure then launched herself into the glowing item, then it dawns upon you that the shadows that you’re staring into start to move and from within the darkness a whoosh cuts through the air.
Then multiple inhuman creatures materialize from the shadows directly in front of her. Their faces were contorted in a way that made them grotesquely indescribable, but you can feel their malevolent intent.
The figure turns sharply sensing the danger a moment too late. A sharp tentacle like things erupts from the shadow itself, impossibly fast and deadly. It pierces through her chest in one fluid motion, lifting her body into the air. Her eyes widen in shock, mouth gargling as it struggles to breathe from her own blood trickling down her throat.
The body hangs suspended in the air for a while before the monster retracts its blade in a swift motion and leaving the body to fall to the ground with a sickening thud, motionless and broken. Like a discarded doll.
Despite her injuries she smiled back right into your eyes, a sliver of hope behind those face none that befit her current state. The creatures savagely ravage her body stripping her from meat to bone leaving you there to sit and watch as they swallow her body whole.
You sat there in a trance like state, dizziness takes over you as you feel hopeless, you look towards the sky as you begin tumbling down uneven surface of the ground, what feels like an eternity you await your death. But weirdly enough the creature doesn’t seem to bother you.
In the corner of your eye you just see them still mutilating her corpse, in your mind this might be the hopeful feeling you felt when she gave that look at you and so you hastily picked yourself back up and gave hope one last chance but that’s when they notice and hundreds of monstrous needles pierce through your back as it go through your stomach, then swiftly the creature teared your body from leg to torso leaving your other part flung into the distance where you’ve completely disconnected it from with nothing left but only your head as you see them one last time crowding their latest trophy.
You feel the sharp pain of being mutilated as with the hot sensation that spiraled from having your limbs teared off, you feel dizzy, but you have no arms or legs to hold that which hurt, you have met your end. In your last moment, what did you expect? That there will be an exception to you that you might find the answer you were looking for?
As you gaze into the abyss you see countless meteors raining down the dark red sky, thundering claps can be heard in the distance, the kingdom was squashed to nothing more than rubbles by now, and in that moment, you still see people fighting for their lives.
“How stupid…” – as you say that cowering in your own pool of blood, half of your limbs missing with legs detached from your body, you slowly feel the grasp of death approaching as you lose your consciousness overtime.
Then you wake up, and you find yourself in a familiar street, the same crowded place where people are running into and the shadows of countless lives reflecting from the bright fire.
You realize a sudden weird realization when you accidentally stumble into a mirrored glass; a horrid figure appears before you, an indescribable grotesque face, an inhuman figure like entity. As you look down you notice your whole body was covered in blood but not your own, an unfamiliar body with multiple limbs projecting, like a new born baby you stumble down as you walk down on all four imitating the creature’s movement
But that’s when your thoughts were abruptly interrupted when darkness suddenly consumes everything, then the ground starts shaking as you realize a huge fiery meteor is barreling straight toward you, before you can process anything an angelic harp was heard from a distance, a bright beam of light penetrates the sky then in an instant you were crushed by the unimaginable weight and speed of the meteor, leaving you gasping beneath the chaos that has raged ever since.
You close your eyes one last time to finally rest.
