The Fool Pathway – Sequence 9 Seer

The Fool Pathway's Sequence 9 Seer,

Alone, it defines the role of taking small glimpses and taking tries at fate to find direction in life, it also peeks into people, another way of seeing into people's fate, their current fate. Furthermore, one can observe this when Seers can see into fate through mediums that are connected to people such as heirlooms, personal items, or Sealed Artifacts.

In context, this is already a tell that fate has a certain control of people and that knowing fate has a hand into seeing the picture of the people around you and yourself. Yes, seeing their secrets that they keep and having the most miniscule chance of changing fate.

This alone shows the power a Seer can already have if given enough time and effort to see into the most crucial of fates. By this, they can interfere with major events through the metaphorical string of fate. In a way, Seers are driven by the strings of fate themselves by being shown what fate has in store.

Concerning the Seer itself, they must therefore act accordingly with their powers. It's only a power to take a glimpse into fate, so one shouldn't think they're all-powerful.

Their power concerns an interpretation of fate after reading it through their own means, therefore they can't rely on it too much because they're merely glimpses, not fate itself.

We've now seen the first domain, Fate Prying. As opposed to Mystery Prying, this truly holds itself in the fates of things rather than prying into secrets. Ironic, isn't it? As a pathway that on Secrets and Change, they first and foremost have an ability to pry into fate.

Anyway, it's fine, specifically, this Fate Prying is more in line with gleaning into secrets and changes into someone's fate, as opposed to the Mystery Prying that Mystery Pryers have, as they see the now and there and secrets they should not know about.

Remember, this is a Seer, not a Mystery Pryer, they unknowingly have the ability to know of overarching things that may be fated to happen as to directly seeing into the mystery in front of them.

Hayst, this feels like a kick in the ass, Klein could not pry into the mystery of Old Neil but was soon able to glean so much more than that. Is that the price to pay? Maybe it's for the best, had Klein taken Mystery Pryer, what would he have reacted when he discovered the truth of Old Neil earlier? And without the Sefirah Castle's help too!

  ....Moving on...

  Here are the principles,

  1. Divination isn't all-powerful, it is a guide of fate and divining is finding that guide and being a guide.

  2. Seers can't control fate and only catch glimpses of it, therefore they must respect it as fate shows them only what they should see, for that is fate in itself.
