First Date

Aizen had never been more nervous in his life. After Ryuen had suggested he take Violet on a proper date, Aizen had spent days planning it out, wanting everything to be perfect. He knew Violet wasn’t a fan of crowded places, but he also wanted to create a day filled with fun, laughter, and, most importantly, memories they could cherish.

When he suggested the idea of going to an amusement park, Violet had hesitated at first, but Aizen reassured her that they could take it slow, avoiding the more intense rides if she wanted. To his surprise, Violet agreed, though he could tell she was still a bit anxious about it.

The day of the date arrived, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shining, but there was a gentle breeze that kept things cool. Aizen arrived at Violet’s apartment to pick her up, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. When she opened the door, Aizen couldn’t help but be struck by how beautiful she looked, even in her simple, casual outfit.

“You ready?” Aizen asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

Violet nodded, offering a small smile. “Yeah, let’s go.”

The amusement park was buzzing with activity when they arrived, but Aizen made sure to guide them toward the quieter areas first, where they could enjoy some of the simpler attractions. They played a few carnival games, where Aizen tried his best to win a stuffed animal for Violet. It took several attempts, but when he finally succeeded, the look of surprise and happiness on her face made it all worth it.

As the day went on, Violet began to relax, and they both found themselves laughing and enjoying each other’s company more and more. They rode the Ferris wheel, taking in the breathtaking view of the park from the top, and even dared to try a few of the less intense roller coasters. The gentle thrill of the rides, combined with the joy of being together, created an atmosphere that felt almost magical.

After spending hours in the park, Aizen suggested they take a break and grab something to eat. They found a cozy little café inside the park, tucked away from the main hustle and bustle. It was quiet, with only a few other couples scattered around, and the atmosphere was intimate and relaxed.

They ordered coffee and some light snacks, and as they sat across from each other, Aizen couldn’t help but notice how much more at ease Violet seemed. She was smiling more, her shyness melting away as they talked about everything from their favorite games to their shared love of badminton.

“This is really nice,” Violet said softly, stirring her coffee. “I wasn’t sure about coming to the amusement park at first, but I’m glad we did.”

Aizen smiled, relieved that she was enjoying herself. “I’m glad too. I wanted today to be special, something we could both look back on and smile about.”

Violet looked up at him, her eyes softening. “It’s already special, Aizen. Just being here with you makes it that way.”

Aizen felt his heart skip a beat at her words. He reached across the table, taking her hand in his. “Violet, I’m really happy we’re doing this. I’ve wanted to spend time with you like this for a while now.”

Violet blushed, but she didn’t pull her hand away. Instead, she squeezed his gently, her eyes shining with a mixture of emotions. “Me too, Aizen.”

After finishing their coffee, Aizen suggested they take a walk through the park to find a quiet spot to relax before heading home. They strolled hand in hand, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow over the park. Eventually, they found a secluded bench under a large tree, the perfect spot to unwind after their eventful day.

They sat down together, the bench slightly creaking under their weight. For a while, they just sat in comfortable silence, watching the world go by. The sounds of distant laughter and the rustling of leaves filled the air, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

As they sat there, Aizen felt a gentle weight on his shoulder. He looked down to see that

Violet had leaned her head against him, her eyes half-closed as she relaxed against his side. His heart swelled with affection, and he carefully wrapped his arm around her, pulling her a little closer.

Violet sighed contentedly, feeling safe and warm in Aizen’s embrace. It was a moment she never wanted to end. “Aizen... thank you for today,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Aizen smiled, resting his head lightly against hers. “Thank you, Violet. For trusting me, for spending this day with me... it means a lot.”

They stayed like that for a while, neither of them wanting to break the moment. The park around them seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in their own little world.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden light over the park, Aizen knew that this day would be one he’d never forget. It wasn’t just the fun they had or the beautiful scenery— it was the connection they had deepened, the unspoken bond that had grown stronger with each passing hour.

When it was finally time to leave, they walked back to the entrance hand in hand, the day’s memories still fresh in their minds. The ride home was quiet, but it was the kind of silence that spoke volumes, filled with unspoken feelings and the promise of what was to come.

As they stood in front of Violet’s apartment door, Aizen hesitated, not wanting the day to end. “Violet... I had a really great time today,” he said, his voice soft.

Violet smiled, her eyes reflecting the warmth of the day they’d shared. “Me too, Aizen. I’m really glad we did this.”

For a moment, they just looked at each other, the air between them charged with something new and exciting. Finally, Aizen leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. “Goodnight, Violet.”

“Goodnight, Aizen,” Violet whispered, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of shyness and happiness.

As Aizen walked back to his own apartment, he couldn’t wipe the smile from his face. Today had been perfect in every way, and he knew that this was just the beginning of something even more beautiful between them.

Violet, too, felt a warmth in her heart as she closed her door. The day had been more wonderful than she could have ever imagined, and as she prepared for bed, she knew that she would dream of nothing but the memory of their first date.

Their story was still unfolding, but one thing was certain—they were on a journey together, and neither of them could wait to see where it would lead.
