Chapter 3 – They Made Their Move: Will a Miracle Happen?
Overview – Jemme and his evacuation team are taking their positions to evacuate everyone safely. Byakuya and Kazui are watching Jemme from the rooftop. Some demons have begun creating chaos. Raiden and Pravan are in a classroom, planning an attack on the demons, while the demon army leaders wait in the playground for the main Miraculars team to arrive. The state minister and city mayor have arranged a press conference.
Time – 12:10 PM
Takeshi Saio (Mayor of Veil City) – It’s no longer a secret that we are under attack. The intelligence team is trying to find out who is behind this. Further updates will be provided by our honorable Chief Minister.
Xen Huawe (Chief Minister of Ironcrest State) – I urge everyone to stay calm, especially the parents whose children are stuck in Eden Kriyen School. According to our intelligence, over 1 million so-called demons have attacked. The country’s President will be addressing the nation shortly. Meanwhile, an evacuation team has been deployed.
Press – Sir, can an evacuation team handle those demons?
Xen Huawe – No, they can’t. But in just 30 minutes, 50 police battalions and an army of Miraculars will arrive at Eden Kriyen School.
Press – If the evacuation team can’t handle them, then why send them?
Xen Huawe – We can’t disclose the reason right now, but there must be a purpose behind it.
Scene shifts to Eden Kriyen School (Byakuya and Kazui)
Kazui – Oi, look over there!
Byakuya – What?
Kazui – They’re entering through the gates.
Byakuya – Who? Demons?
Kazui – Ugh... you mosshead, look with your own eyes! Why do you act like an idiot sometimes?
Byakuya – Okay, okay. That’s the evacuation team. But what can they do with just... (counting) 1, 2, 3... 29 members?

Kazui – I was thinking the same. I think we should help them, or they’ll die for sure.
Byakuya – No, they’re smarter than us. They must have a plan. Let’s just watch.
Jemme (on walkie-talkie) – On my count... 3, 2, 1. We start firing. Okay? (Takes a deep breath) Now – 3, 2, 1 – fire!!
All of them start firing.
Queen – Are they dumb?
Jack – Let’s kill those babies.
King – Aaaaah. Okay, kill them. I’m bored waiting for the Miraculars. Hey demons! Your food is over there. (Points toward Jemme’s team)
All the demons charge toward the evacuation team.
Jemme – That’s exactly what I wanted.
25 Minutes Earlier...
Jemme – When those brainless demons attack us, it will create a distraction. During that time, our second evacuation team will enter through the back door and begin evacuating the students. Let them get as close as they want. Then, press the button in your ear – your rocket shoes will activate a mega-blast that will launch us into the sky. After that, you all know what to do. Any questions?
Team Member – Sir, what if demons are stationed at that door and don’t move? And will this distraction really buy enough time to evacuate all the students?
Jemme – If they don’t move, they’ll die. And yes, the distraction will buy enough time. After that, Phase Two begins.
Back to the present...
Jemme – Is everyone airborne?
Team – Yes, sir!!!
Kazui – Whoa! That launch was insane. But why?
At the back door – Second Evacuation Team
Team Leader – It’s our time! Go!!!
They open the back door—
As soon as they open it, they are faced with mega-demons.
CLASSSSHHH!!!
Narrator – The attempt to rescue the students has failed. Jemme reports the death of 15 rescue members.
Queen – The students must be scared. Should we go “consult” them?
No one responds.
In the classroom...
Raiden – Are you ready? What’s the time?
Pravan – It’s... (checks his phone) 12:27. Whaaaat!? 15 rescue members were killed at Eden Kriyen School.
Raiden – Now I’m going to kill them without a second thought. We’ll take action when the Miraculars arrive. I think they’ll be here any minute.
Kazui – I’ve been watching those four leaders for the last 10 minutes. They’re just chatting. That one—(points to Ace)—hasn’t said a word.
Byakuya – The Miraculars team has arrived.
At the Main School Gate
Zillinggham (in a bold, serious voice) – Dear demons, I am the captain of this Miraculars army. Introduce me to your leaders.
Queen – King, they’ve arrived.
King (in a creepy voice) – It's showdown time.
The demon leaders start moving from the playground to the main gate.
King – I’m the leader of this demonic army. These three are my partners. We and our army are civilized—not like what your human books describe.
Zillinggham – That’s nice. Then you’d better leave this place immediately. Otherwise, you and your army will suffer my wrath.
King – Stop bluffing. You and your team know exactly what we want from here.
Zillinggham – You won’t get forgiveness, let alone your wish.
King – As you wish. KILL THE STUDENTS. Start with the primary ones. (Smirks evilly)
Almost 500 demons enter the primary building.
Zillinggham – HEY, STO—...
Jack (interrupts the conversation) – Hey, Zillinggham or Willingham or whatever you’re called, you’re already losing. Just do as we say.
From the primary building, a massive cry of pain erupts.
Jack – See? They’ve started killing the babies. (Laughs)
Raiden – Your demon army is so weak, they can’t even stand against two young Miraculars?
Pravan – That cry wasn’t from the children—it came from your demons. Don’t worry. We just killed the 500 you sent.
Narrator – Both sides have made their move. Now we wait to see: where will the miracle happen? With the demons... or the humans?
