Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was not often surprised. He had seen many things in his long life, but the letter he was currently reading was not something he'd expected to ever see.
To Professor Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry
I have decided to send my daughter to learn at your school. I feel that she would benefit from a more social environment.
With this letter should have arrived both the transfer form and the requisite exams required for her to join in her 3rd year. as well as proof of my identity, as much as one can prove my identity. If you could have that sent to Ollivander's once you have confirmed it, I wish for it to be used as the core of my daughter's wand.
With Gratitude
Death
Included with the letter was in fact the exams and forms for one Lilliana Gaia Grim to join Hogwarts as a student in her 3rd year with the electives Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures and Basic Runes. Separately from those was a pure bck feather with a note "a wand should know its maker". Very few people even believed the wand existed and even fewer knew he had it.
With little else to do, Dumbledore pulled out his wand and waved it over the feather, casting a simple analysis charm. The Wand seemed to vibrate with anticipation as soon as he had brought it near the feather and the results of the charm gave little doubt as to why. A magical signature that was a near perfect match to what he had long since learned was the Wand's emanating from it.
Having confirmed what he needed, and fearing the consequences of not complying, Dumbledore did as instructed and had the feather sent by owl to Ollivander's. He only hoped the arrival of this "Lilliana" didn't cause his pns to be sent too far off the path he had set.

Ana hadn't been on a train before, nor even in a train station. She got to Ptform Nine and Three-Quarters early, expecting there to be a rge crowd. And a crowd there was, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry being one of the most renowned wixen schools in the world led to many sending their children there. Not being a fan of rge crowds due to the sheer noise, Ana made her way onto the train as soon as it arrived. This allowed her to find a free carriage all to herself for a few minutes while most other students were saying their goodbyes.
Not long before the train was to depart she heard a knock on the door as a redheaded boy peaked in.
“Do you happen to have room for a few more? Seems everywhere else is full up.”
“I don't see why not. As long as you lot aren't too loud.”
With permission given the boy walked in followed by a bushy brown haired girl and a messy dark haired boy with gsses.
After they make themselves comfortable she goes “I suppose introductions are in order. I am Lilliana, though I go by Ana or Lily depending on the day. Ana for today.”
The brown haired girl went next, “I’m Hermione Granger, or just Hermione. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Ron, Ron Weasely. And, of course you’d know him,” says the redhead indicating the other boy.
*Odd assumption to make, guess he's famous,* Ana thinks.
“No, can’t say I would. Are you famous or something?” Ana states.
“A bit, I’m the, uh, ‘Boy-Who-Lived’, Harry Potter,” says the boy with gsses.
“Doesn’t ring a bell. My moms don’t interact with the wider wixen community much” Ana says.
“Moms?” says the redhead, Ron, curiously.
“Moms, multiple. I have two,” Ana states.
“How does that work then?” asks Ron.
“Well, when one woman loves another woman very much, they have a romantic retionship and sometimes even get married,” says Ana
“No, I mean where’s your dad. You have to have one right?” Ron says.
*This one is just full of assumptions I guess,* thinks Ana, getting annoyed.
Ana goes, “You live in a world where magic can produce water or fire out of thin air, or be used to turn a matchstick into a sword and two women having a baby without a man involved surprises you…?”
“Oh…yeah. Sorry,” He says, looking ashamed.
*At least he has the intelligence to be ashamed of his own rudeness,* Ana thinks.
“What’s, uh, what does' wixen mean?” Says Harry nervously.
Before Ana gets a chance to speak, Hermione says “It’s the gender neutral term for a magical person.”
*At least one of these three is knowledgeable on the subject of queer matters. Hopefully I won't have to expin everything myself then,* thinks Ana.
Conversation then goes into more queer topics. Hermione shows surprisingly in-depth knowledge of the subject, letting Ana feel more at ease not having to answer all the questions. Harry seems particurly interested when the topic got to gender and transness. Ron eventually rexes after his mistake and gets more involved in the conversation. Things rexed from there, the topic of conversation naturally shifting around. At one point it goes onto quidditch and at Ana’s mention that she hasn’t heard of the sport inspired Ron to go on an enthusiastic expnation of the game.
Some time ter, not long before the train is due to arrive at Hogwarts, there's a loud screeching sound as it comes to a stop.
“Is this normal?” Asks Ana.
“No,” Hermione says worriedly.
“Is it getting colder or is it just me?” Ron asks as the windows start icing over.
“Seriussss Baaack, Beltrixxxxxxx, where are you?”
“Get back from the door. Now!” Ana says.
“What?” Hermione says confusedly.
“Dark creature, feeds off of happiness and souls. There's one or more on the train” Ana expins.
“A Dementor?” Hermione asks as she moves towards the window.
“Yes, that” Ana confirms as Harry begins to whimper.
*Must be some serious trauma for it to be triggered without the Dementors even in the room,* Ana thinks to herself.
“Herrrrre, smells good. Darknesssss. They won't miss one or twooo” says the Dementor as it comes right up to our compartment door.
*Shit,* Ana thinks as the door handle begins to move, *good thing I'm in the best state to deal with them*
“You lot better have a very good reason to be away from your post,” Ana says to the Dementors, blocking them from fully entering the compartment.
“Brave one. Much more funnnn to watch them break,” Says the Dementor in the lead.
“Not brave, just used to vultures like you. My mother has to deal with them often enough,” Ana states.
“It can understand ussss. Rare skill. That won't do much to stoppp ussss though,” says the creature getting closer.
“I am Lilliana Gaia Grim, I wouldn't be so hasty in harming me if I were you,” Ana says.
“What makesssss you so specialllll?” The Dementor asks.
Before Ana has a chance to answer a voice from down the train yells “EXPECTO PATRONUM!” As a rge glowing creature barrels into the Dementors, forcing them off down the train and presumably off it. A second ter a disheveled man appears in the doorway and asks, “are you all okay?”
“Mostly fine. We will need some chocote though. Especially for him,” Ana responds, indicating Harry.
“You know your dark creatures young dy. Here," says the man handing Ana a couple bars of chocote.
“Thank you for saving us Mr…” Ana says.
“Lupin, Remus Lupin. Now if you all will excuse me I'm going to go speak with the conductor about not letting that happen again,” the man, Remus, says before walking further up the train.
*Now to see the damage* Ana thought.
“Here, eat some chocote. It helps after being exposed to a Dementor's aura,” Ana expins while handing some chocote to Hermione and Ron.
“Is Harry gonna be alright?” Ron asks.
“He should be fine. Just a bad reaction, must've had a really bad event in his childhood to be affected that badly,” Ana answers.
Hermione and Ron share a look. *Interesting, hopefully he's seeing a mind healer about that.* Ana thinks in response.
“Do either of you know who Serius Bck or Beltrix are?” Ana asks.
“Sirius Bck is a mass murderer, and big supporter of You-Know-Who. He's been all over the papers. Beltrix is his cousin and probably an even bigger supporter of You-Know-Who. They escaped Azkaban and nobody knows how,” Ron expins through a mouth full of chocote.
“Two things: One, what is Azkaban, and Two, who is ‘You-Know-Who’, because I most certainly don't,” Ana asked.
“Bloody hell, you don't know who You-Know-Who is? Did you grow up under a rock?” Ron excims.
“I didn't grow up in Engnd and had a… sheltered childhood,” Ana said.
*And there went my respect for him again* Ana thought.
“You-Know-Who is an extremely powerful dark wizard that is extremely racist against non-magicals. He managed to curse his own name so that any who said it would find themselves a target by his followers in the war he started against wixen who didn't agree with his views,” Hermione expins, “Azkaban is Magical Engnd's highest punishment. A prison with magic suppression wards, guarded by Dementors. Only the worst of wixen get sent there.”
“Thank you Hermione. That's a barbaric punishment. Nobody should be forced to endure Dementors for long periods,” Ana says.
“I'm gd someone agrees with me on that front at least,” Hermione says.
“mmmmm…No,” Harry mumbles.
*Looks like it's time to see how well he's doing* Ana thinks.
“No. I'm not… NOT A FREAK,” He says, sitting up quickly in a panic.
“Hey it's okay, you're not with them anymore. We're on the train, on our way to Hogwarts,” Ron says as his friend begins to calm down.
“Here, have some chocote Harry” Ana states, handing Harry one of the bars.
Flinching when he hears her talking he says, “Thanks. What happened to the creatures?”
*Interesting. Could have been at me, but it almost seemed like he flinched when he heard his own name,* Ana thinks.
“I held them off and a Mister Lupin got rid of them with a spell I haven't seen before,” Ana expins.
“Yeah, everything's alright now Harry. They're not coming back anytime soon” Ron says.
When she notices him flinch again Ana thinks to herself *Gonna have to keep an eye on that and maybe avoid saying his name for now. ‘Gsses’ will do until I learn something better.*
“You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but have you been seeing a mind healer? Most people aren't as affected by Dementors as you were,” Ana asks curiously.
“A Mind Healer?” Gsses asks, confused.
“The magical equivalent of a therapist,” Ana expins.
“Um, No. Nobody even told me those exist,” He says.
*That certainly doesn't bode well for the staff at this school,* Ana thinks.
With that, conversation gradually returns to normal, if a bit more down beat. The group talks about their csses. Ana learns about wizards chess and that she should not bet against Ron if she wishes to keep her money.
A short time ter Hermione says, “Alright, it's almost time. We should get changed into our robes. Boys, out.”
Ana gets up to go with the boys and give Hermione some privacy before Hermione says, “you don't have to go with them, unless you'd prefer the privacy. I don't mind, we're both girls after all.”
“Oh, thank you. I wasn't sure if you'd be comfortable with someone like… someone you didn't know very well,” Ana responds.
After the girls get changed, the boys swap in and get into their own school robes. Unlike the girls the boys choose to change one at a time. *Interesting. Not a normal occurrence if that shared look of confusion on Hermione and Ron's faces is anything to go by,* Ana thinks.
Not long after that, the train finally arrives at Hogwarts.
Before the group leaves their compartment with their belongings, Ana hears Gsses mutter “Finally home. I hope nothing crazy happens this year.”
*Interesting, maybe this isn't just a boring wixen school after all* Ana thinks, as they all head out.
