The hunters looked eager.
Was it for rank? Pay? Fame?
Doesn't matter… I'd rather just finish this required task.
“Alright.”
The old man puffed as he walked inside the room, taking a drag from his pipe, smoking.
“Hunters of the new~ making the family so blue~”
He sung lightly before clasping his hands.
“Hunters! You already know me, but if you haven't… I am Reginald, the Guild Master, but feel free to call me Reggy or anything~”
He whistled proudly.
“Amazing bunch, you are~”

“Three teams this month, quite amazing!”
He quickly took another drag from his pipe.
“Simple instructions—each team of you lovely hunters will pick one Stannum quest from the quest board—then you will have the WHOLE day to finish it! It's quite simple!”
“… also, try not to die, c'mon, of course.”
All of us left the room after…
—
“Should we pick this one?”
Benny asked both me and Amabel.
“Any quest is fine.”
Amabel stated lightly to Benny.
“So… uhh… let's uhh… take this one then?”
Benny put a finger on the quest on the board.
“No.”
Amabel said before Benny let out an immediate “huh?”
“What do you mean 'no'?”
“You said any quest is fine, Amabel—”
“So, what's your deal?”
Benny's arms went limp as he slouched in childish annoyance.
“I believed you would pick a quest more reasonable than FIVE natum maws.”
Amabel scoffed.
“I mean, it's been a while, right? We can do three natum maws like before—like, we did that when we were still Ferri.”
“What's two more? You know? I mean, I know it's not reasonable but... I still want to one-up the other teams.”
“Besides, we have Sir Pax. He's probably way more experienced than us.”
Benny argued.
…
Amabel sighed and looked at me.
“No offense, Sir Pax, but I'm more cautious than Benny.”
She then turned to Benny.
“Pick something REASONABLE.”
“Four Natum Maws is the limit! I'm putting my foot down!”
Amabel pinched Benny's nose tightly.
“Ow.”
“You know, I'm not like… six anymore. If you pinch my nose, I'll just be annoyed.”
Benny stuck out his tongue.
Then he licked Amabel's fingers, which made Amabel let go.
“Okay, that's just disgusting.”
Amabel wiped her fingers on her outfit calmly, with a hint of irritation.
…
I believe we have wasted enough time.
“We will pick this one.”
I ripped a quest off the board.
“Four Natum Maws.”
Four Natums.
Reasonable enough for Amabel.
Interesting enough for Benny.
