Two guards approached a cell filled with darkness. Filled with shadows. They could only hear two things coming from that cell. The squeaks of mice and the whispers of a weak woman. One of the guards was holding a torch. He aimed it at the cell. In hopes of gaining some intel about what the prisoner was doing. As he approached it, a mouse jumped on his leg, making him scream like a little girl. Yet the whispers of the woman remained steady and quiet. He bent more towards the cell and saw a fragile woman. It's a very weak one. She looked like she had lost all her meat and was left with only skin and bones. Her face was covered with tears, and her mouth was as dry as a desert. Lifting her hand as far as she can while she continues praying to her God.
The other guard pulled him very fast and said, "Are you insane? Do you know who she is?".
He looked at him with a questioning face. He didn't need to say anything. The question was already delivered to the other guard. He sighed then whispered, "She is the Queen of Ash-Gank."
He opened his eyes before he opened his mouth widely and said, "No way. Is she here to face her sentence?". "Yeah, she is. You better stay away from her. She is the Devil reincarnated".
They were right and wrong. You see, she was considered a myth. A myth hated by humanity, scratched from history. Yet her story survived. In the shape of a lullaby. A lullaby sung to the unbehaved. The melody was about her. The Queen of Ash-Gank. As the lullaby was sung before:
Hush, my baby, hush now, tight,
Let the Queen of loss take flight.
She creeps and crawls when children run,
She hunts for hearts, she steals just one.
Be still, be quiet... don't you tread,
I hear her breathing underneath your bed.
Sleep now, sleep now, my dear, please don't weep...
She's gone to steal another's sleep.

The myth states that something or someone snatched from her everything she held dear. Something stole her happiness and everything that gave her life some meaning.
She lost her golden crown. A crown that once was bathed with her glories.
She lost her prosperous kingdom. A kingdom that once was mighty and wealthy.
She lost her family, which aided her in her lowest. A family that taught her the way to be a Queen.
She lost her people, her power, and her sword.
History burned her mistakes before. We have no idea what made her the way she is now. But all we know now is that she is in a cell. Surrounded by darkness. Bathed with her tears. With a hand that got stuck in the prayer position. She was strong. She stayed faithful to her God. Prayed with a sore throat. Sadly, no answer was given to her. As God stayed quiet. Years have passed.
Yet she stayed as strong as ever. She became more and more connected to her God. Soaked with tears of pain and belief. She extended her arm to the sky. Waiting for God's answer.
Every night, she said with her shaky voice, " I demand my revenge. I demand your justice. Aren't you strong? Aren't you powerful? Aren't you capable? I hunger for my crown. I am sick of my old life. I want justice for my people. I want to do what I command". Do you see why God never answered her? Her tone was poisoned. She thought she was superior. She thought she was as high and mighty as him. Yet she knew that she was created by him and knew she had a right to ask him.
One day, God answered. He answered her, but with terms because of her attitude. His answer was:
I shall never answer an arrogant prayer again
I shall never help you again
I give you power, but I don't give you justice
Never pray to something other than me. As I am God, and you follow me.
I fulfilled your wish and shall fulfill mine.
If you break these rules. I shall punish you with a fate worse than death.
These words were never spoken to her. These words were sung to her heart. With a sharp tone that made her kneel and put her head on the ground. Which resulted in her hitting her head very hard. At that moment, she lost control of her weak body. She lay there with a big smile. Surrounded by blood. Then she whispered to the mice that circled her, "I finally did it. I have returned to my people. I am coming back to avenge you."
