Chapter 1: The beginning of the end
A fragile young man with long lustrous black hair with tints of white, his eyes a shiny shade of silver sitting down on one of the many benches of the police station. In his hands he was holding an envelope, fingering the texture of the paper as he waited to be called.
“Code No.873, please come to the registration booth.”
The man got up and walked to the booth, cold sweat rolling down from his head to his neck, still keeping a tight grip on the envelope, he arrived at the booth. The man standing behind the booth was a police officer of medium proportions and an appearance of a man somewhere in his 40s. Taking a glance at the frail and tiny man in front of him the policeman spoke up.
“What is your reason for coming here today young lad.”
Exhaling the man said.

“I have an envelope.”
The police officer, stunned, began making preparations.
“Please hand over the envelope for inspection.”
Handing over the envelope to the police officer he began an inspection and confirmed whatever was on his mind.
“If you could please state your name, birth date and the city of where you came from.”
“Eunji Song, May 17 3227 and the lower Citadel district.”
“...and someone like you got an envelope huh?. They're just recruiting anyone nowadays.”
The policeman said as he gave the envelope back to Eunji who quickly snatched it, stuffing it back into his pockets. The policeman, slightly offended, pointed over to the door leading to the outside with a bunch of taxis waiting.
“That's your exit ticket out of here bud, show ‘em the envelope and they’ll take ya straight to where ya need to go.”
“Right thanks”
Eunji taking one last look at the door he had entered from made his way over to the opposite door stepping outside into the prestige side of the world.
