Chapter 12: The Final Battle

  ---

  The Final Battle

A wave of cursed energy swept through the ruins of Shibuya like a storm, shattering the ground and painting the sky blood-red as Sukuna, in his full Heian Era form, floated above them like a vengeful god. His four arms crackled with raw energy, his twin faces sneering with contempt. Crimson tattoos burned across his skin like living runes, and a massive wave of malevolence pulsed from him with each breath. The ground beneath him died, trees withered, steel rusted, and space distorted.

  But we were not afraid.

  Gojo cracked his neck.

  Mo narrowed his eyes.

Megumi’s shikigami circled like sharks sensing blood.

Nobara pulled out a pouch—every nail soaked in Sukuna’s blood, ready to unleash Resonance like machine-gun fire.

  And me?

I was standing there, heart racing, cursed energy surging like a furnace inside me, all 19 fingers digested—but still in control.

  “Let’s end this,” Gojo said.

  And the battlefield erupted.

  ---

  Round One: Assault

Sukuna shot forward with inhuman speed, slashing all four arms in an X-formation that cracked the air itself. Mo intercepted with a sand shield reinforced by infinity. The force sent Mo skidding backward, but Gojo was already there, spinning low and aiming an open palm for Sukuna’s gut.

  “Cursed Technique Reversal: Red!”

The explosion hurled Sukuna back as buildings behind him imploded from the blast pressure.

“NOW!” I from inside of sukuna yelled, and Megumi leapt in.

Divine Dogs, Max Elephant, and Nue launched into battle, surrounding Sukuna. He swatted them aside with contempt—but that distraction gave me a second to blink in.

  Black Flash!

My fist cracked against his ribs. The cursed energy distorted space for a second as Sukuna’s eyes widened. He twisted midair to slice me—but Mo clapped his hands.

  “Sand Domain: Barren Wasteland!”

Sukuna was momentarily caught in a sand cyclone. Mo reached high—and an avalanche of sand collapsed over the King of Curses, trapping him like a fossil in a dune.

  “Now, Gojo!”

Gojo raised both arms. The sky cracked. His Six Eyes glowed.

“Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue... Reversal: Red...”

The two spheres spiraled together—Hollow Purple ignited.

Mo joined him. Another Hollow Purple from his own cursed technique fused alongside Gojo’s, forming a Twin-Core Devastation Beam.

The moment the double Hollow Purple hit, the desert exploded into an antimatter firestorm, swallowing Sukuna entirely.

  But he survived.

Badly wounded, pieces of his outer arms missing, his two faces now smeared with blood, Sukuna let out a monstrous roar.

  “Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine!”

  ---

  Round Two: Domain War

The world flipped. We were inside an open temple bathed in black and gold, blood soaking the steps, thousands of cleavers suspended in the air, each imbued with Sukuna’s slashing cursed technique.

Every moment we stayed inside meant death.

  Gojo responded instantly.

  “Domain Expansion: Infinite Void!”

His Infinite Void collided with Malevolent Shrine—the battlefield shrank and warped as reality itself began tearing apart under the weight of two divine territories. Mo expanded his Sand Domain again, reinforcing ours and thinning out Sukuna’s edge.

Inside the storm of techniques, Nobara stepped forward. Her eyes shone.

“I hope you enjoy this, you two-faced freak.”

She pulled out her hammer and began launching nail after nail. Each nail struck a point she had resonated earlier.

  “Resonance! Resonance! Resonance! Resonance!”

Sukuna’s limbs shuddered under the effect, each blow drilling phantom pain into his soul.

  I took the chance.

Black Flash. One. Two. Three. FOUR.

Each hit thundered through his chest. I shouted with each strike, pouring every ounce of my rage, sorrow, and pain into them.

  “BLACK FLASH!”

  Megumi launched his final play.

  “Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden!”

The shadow flooded Malevolent Shrine, merging domains, neutralizing Sukuna’s terrain advantage.

From the darkness, ten shikigami surged—an unfinished Mahoraga wheeled beside Megumi, glowing with raw potential.

Sukuna lashed out, slicing Nue in half, but Gojo caught his arm.

  Black Flash. Gojo's First.

  Then another. And another. EIGHT.

Each hit cracked Sukuna’s body further.

Mo mimicked him—Eight Black Flashes of sand-infused fists. Each one caused the very air to rupture, glass to crack in distant buildings.

Sukuna, now visibly struggling to regenerate, roared and began charging his final technique—a complete collapse of the shrine into a singularity of cursed energy.

  But Gojo saw his chance.

  ---

  The Final Strike

Inside Infinite Void, with Sukuna frozen in place, Gojo placed his hand directly over the cursed soul.

  “Six Eyes... activate.”

  He saw it.

  The second face.

The soul socket buried within me.

And with one precise, godlike cut of infinity—he separated the soul from my body.

Sukuna’s essence exploded out in a flash of black lightning. His four arms flailed as his twin faces contorted in fury and confusion.

  The domains collapsed, time resumed.

  I was left standing.

  ---

I stood over the weakened Sukuna.

He writhed, cursing, but his strength waned.

I looked into his eyes and said, "Goodbye, Sukuna. Find peace in the afterlife."

With that, I stepped on him, ending his reign of terror.
