Hello everyone, QuiteTheSlacker here! I just wanted to give you all a quick update that the first book of Aegis will be stubbing in July. I'm planning on putting it on Amazon KU, but unfortunately their new policy states that I can't have any teaser chapters. That means Chapters 1 through 102 will be completely gone, and the story will continue from the current book 2 which is 103.

  If you've read up to this point already, then you don't have to worry about anything! Aegis will still continue, even if a bit slowly, but I do hope you either purchase the book or get it on kindle when the time comes. Aegis is my first book and it holds a lot of my love, so it'd mean the world to me if you get a copy for yourself: maybe even paperback! It's always been my dream to a hold a physical copy of my book. It'll also be (hopefully) much cleaner once I hire an editor to proofread and fix all the typos. There also might be an audiobook, but it's unlikely unless I get picked up by a publisher. Those things are expensive to produce.

  But since I don't want this to be a sudden announcement, I'm setting the stub date for end of July, which means any newcomer that wants to read the story from start to finish will have three months to do so. It's a hefty one—about 225k words. And I'm even considering splitting the first book into two halves so that it'll fit the length of trad-published books (around 100k).

  It'll be exciting to finally get it published, and I hope you all enjoy the newly polished Aegis when the time comes!
