Her hands shook, why was the eclipse here? She hadn't thought that she would run into so many bandits in this remote part of this dark forest. Even if she called her sister it wouldnt be enough to defeat them.
Thank the sun and the moon that man came here in time. It appears that his lunar magic is controlling shadows. She could barely see what was happening. She could only stand by since a bandit stabbed her in her leg.
Though, even he couldn't compete with the sheer amount of bandits. That's probably why he summoned the eclipse. The eclipse was horrifying, even thought it wasnt targeting her. The bandits were even more scared , some run for their lives, but the stronger ones stayed to fight.
The man vanished her lunar blue eyes couldnt follow him, just as she though he left she saw him behind one of the stronger bandits with a scythe she had in her caravan in front of the bandits neck. He pulled the scythe and the bandits head dropped to the floor with a frightened expression.
The rest of the bandits filled with anger charged at him. His shadows extended instantaneously around him and the bandits. Shadow spears impaled the closer ones, while the others feet were sealed by shadows. He then killed them crudely with scythe.
The eclipse was still there and it was even more dampening than before. It was beautiful yet horrifying. It restricted her use of magic but it was almost therapeutic for her. She hadnt seen anything like this while she was travelling The Eclipse's Disdain. Yet it still felt hollow like it was just a shadow of the real thing.
The man wasnt done he vanished again. 5 minutes later he came back with the heads of the bandits that run. The forest was filled with blood, it was even darker with the eclipse than the lunar light. The man stood in the middle of it all with pride. How? He slaughtered all those people. He didnt even let them run. It was like once he set target on him they couldnt escape anymore.

She had a lot of of questions and no answers. But he may be the key to her and her sister problems.“Hey, i am Lyria. Who are you?“ She asked
He responded “Im Leo. Remember me because my name is gonna be known across the world,” and he collapsed.
The eclipse flickered and it's energy went back to Leo. The lunar light once more spread across the forest, finnaly letting Lyria see and use her lunar magic again.
She treated her leg and then carried the man to the caravan. He didnt have any wounds but his body seemed strained and that would also be true for his mind due to his extensive use of lunar magic. The teleportation was probably he using his solar magic. That was why Lyria didnt see him use it before the Eclipse.
Lyria looked around the small caravan. The caravan had a lot of herbs and metals it even had a few weapons. She had bought it so she could sell treasures and other special materials that could be found in only certain regions. As she inspected the caravan she noticed that her sister's sword is missing. “Elara is going to be mad,” Lyria said
She walked outside and searched the bodies for any clues. She found a recurring sigil in every body a snake biting an elephant. The sigil wasnt familiar to Lyria but she didnt have any other leads.
After that she looted the bandits for any valuables and went back to the caravan.
Leo was still lying unconscious but he seemed to be getting better. He would wake up in a day or two. Lyria needed the rest anyways for her wound to heal.
She wiped the blood from his face and took a closer look at him. He had black hair with a red streak that is seemingly moving around his hair and pale white skin like he has never seen the sun. He must have come from a region with a lot of rain and snow.
Dusk was approaching and Lyria only had questions. Who is he? Where is he from? Why did he help her? Why could he summon a hollow eclipse? And why did that eclipse seemed to help her? She could only wait for him to wake up as she travelled to the next town
