There would be nothing to stop SCP-682, the Hard to Destroy Reptile’s rampage on St. Canard. It all came down to Fenton’s clumsiness as his hero persona of Gizmo Duck. Kabir and Wilma couldn’t be more pleased with the progress. It was just by sure dumb luck that Fenton’s interference prevented Kenny from drawing further suspicion on Louie.
“Let’s go after the rest of St. Canard!” laughed SCP-682.
But as the anthropomorphic humanoid reptile was about to march forward, Drake threw a tear gas grenade and soon smoke began to appear around the Chaos Insurgency.
“I can’t see!” cried one coyote Chaos Insurgent soldier.
“I am the terror that flaps in the night!” bellowed a voice, “I am the fly that gets away from the lizard’s next meal! I am Darkwing Duck!”
Soon Drake Mallard appears in his Darkwing Duck costume, the Chaos Insurgent soldiers glare at Darkwing and soon began to laugh.
“What’s his deal wearing that ridiculous outfit!” laughed a wolf Chaos Insurgent soldier.
“He reminds me of the Scarlet Pumplenickel” laughed a coyote soldier.
The Chaos Insurgent soldiers dismissed Darkwing Duck as somewhat of a joke, but Drake wasn’t laughing. He soon produced his signature gas gun and fired another smoke grenade. The Chaos Insurgents could barely see as Darkwing made quick work by swiftly knocking them out. Lena and Gosalyn stayed where they were not wanting to get close enough to SCP-682 after seeing his abilities up and close.

“Someone must have tricked Fenton into coming to St. Canard” said Lena.
“But who would dare do such a thing?” asked Gosalyn.
Then Lena remembers the Global Occult Coalition operative – Gregory Ericson the anthropomorphic GOC cougar operative. Lena knew it had to be him who had tricked Fenton into arriving. The GOC always felt Gizmo Duck had the right sort of weapons to deal with SCP-682; but they still failed on SCP-682’s fast adapting abilities to any of Gizmo Duck’s weapons.
“You will not make your way to St. Canard so long as I am here you fiendish reptile!” bellowed Drake.
Drake again fired another smoke grenade at SCP-682, though the reptilian humanoid was temporarily blind he soon adapted to the somke with growing an extra pair of lens for his eyes. Now he could see through the smoke.
“Foolish so-called hero, I can see you now!” laughed SCP-682.
SCP-682 soon grabs Drake by his cape and soon begins to body slam him. Louie hesitates to assist him feeling he would be exposed if he did. Kenny notices the hesitation on Louie’s end by his own instinct.
“You’re still hiding something from us” said Kenny.
Kenny always could tell Louie was quite shady, even shadier than the ones pulling the strings of the Chaos Insurgency behind the scenes.
“I, uh don’t know what you’re talking about” said Louie.
Eventually SCP-682 was able to defeat Drake for the moment, Drake did his best trying to pick himself up from the ground.
“Let’s move towards St. Canard” said SCP-682.
The humanoid reptilian lizard marched forward with various SCP Foundation soldiers doing their best trying to stop him. They were no match for SCP-682, he then initiated another loud roar showing off his presence to the rest of the Foundation site. It would take SCP-682 and the Chaos Insurgency just a few more minutes until they reached the exit of the destruction that Gizmo Duck had left behind. As for Drake he along with Lena, Gosalyn and Fenton regrouped feeling they would work better as a team.
