Chapter 165: Tan Jiao Twenty-One (1)

  Tan Jiao's Perspective

I lay in bed, gazing at the moon peeking out from behind the clouds outside the window. But my mood couldn't calm down, and I couldn't sleep. Thinking of the faint glimmer of tears in his eyes, thinking of his low, husky voice, thinking of him embracing me and repeatedly kissing me.

That injured wolf was finally captured by me.

Or perhaps finally break free from shackles and chase after me.

Thinking of this, my heart became even more anxious. The feeling was as if there was a ball of fire in my chest, and the one who lit it was not by my side on this quiet night.

My mind is a mess, one moment I think that with Wu's personality, he might be hiding a bit of "receiving" nature. So before, no matter how hard I tried to get him to talk about personal relationships, now I just pushed him a little and he immediately became passionate and obedient. Another moment I think, is he being sincere or forcing himself? But the look in his eyes when he kissed me wasn't fake. Such a tender and affectionate gaze, how could it be forced?

Thinking like this, my heart is about to be filled with something thick and sweet. Burying my face in the pillow, it's still scorching hot. Every inch of skin on my body that he touched is scorching hot. I wanted him, and I got him. From today on, he belongs to me. This realization rushes into my mind, and the almost explosive feeling of happiness is about to silently engulf me.

I was so anxious that I thought about it all night, and by the time I got up the next morning, I had two black eye circles. This is not good, on the first day of formal dating, I looked like a ghost. I sent a WeChat message to Zhuangyu: "Bring me a box of foundation on your way here." Zhuangyu replied: "Do you think I would have that kind of thing?" I asked again: "Just pass by a shopping mall and buy a box, remember it's ivory white. I'll reimburse you." Zhuangyu: "Don't be ridiculous. Which patient dresses up like a flower? Can't you calm down on your first date?"

I've given up on the fish, so I washed my face a couple more times to look refreshed, and quickly washed my hair before going to Wu's hospital room. He was already awake, with a pillow propped behind his back, leaning against it. The warm sunlight filled the room. Our eyes met for a moment, and I felt my heart skip a beat. "Didn't sleep well last night?" he asked.

"Hmm..." I said, "haven't had breakfast yet?"

He nodded towards the table next to him: "The nurse has brought it."

  "I'll feed you."

  He stared at me: "Uh-huh."

His breakfast was porridge and eggs, which were still quite hot. I sat on the edge of the bed, blew on it a bit, fed him one mouthful at a time, and he ate quietly. As I watched his cheekbones and chin move up and down, I got a little distracted. He said in a low voice, "Why are you staring at me all the time?" I suddenly felt my face get hot, because I really liked it, wanted to get more of him, just a bit more.

  "Have you eaten?" he asked.

"Not yet," I said. "I just got a scratch on the skin, why are you treating me like this? Let's go downstairs to buy some later."

He then shut his mouth and said, "Let's eat together."

"I said: 'Thank you. But I really have no interest in this thin porridge of yours. I want to eat juicy little steamed buns.'"

He smiled and finally finished eating his breakfast as he was told.

I never thought time could be so quiet, beautiful and long. He lay in bed unable to move, turned on the TV and watched for a while, we both felt it was meaningless. I saw his tired look and said: "Want to sleep some more?"

"Mm." He replied, "Didn't sleep well last night." Looking at his thoughtful eyes, my heart couldn't calm down either. I pulled up the curtains for him, and as the room darkened, he said: "Jiao Jiao, come sit over here."
