After a night of dancing, and more than a few drinks, Joseph and Xisira stumbled out of a cab and back into the motel. They were holding on to each other for balance and laughing as Joseph had trouble getting the key in the door.
“This is drunk? This is so fun, no wonder people in the below miss this so much, I feel so warm and fuzzy,” she said. Nuzzling her face into Joseph’s neck.
“Where did you learn to dance like that,” Joseph asked as the door opened and the two almost fell into the room.
“I’m a Seductress, moving my hips like that just comes naturally to me,” she giggled. It was amazing how she could be so sensual and yet play it off like she was so innocent. It was endlessly alluring to Joseph.
“How long does this last,” she said, flopping onto the bed, “I’ve never been drunk before,” she said.
“Should be fine in the morning, we got a long trip ahead of us, probably won’t be so bad if we sleep in a bit,” Joseph said, falling next to her in the bed.
Xisira turned, “Thank you,” she said, reaching up and caressing his face with her soft hand, “I knew that Mortal World would be an amazing experience, but I think it’s even more fun getting to explore it with you,” she smiled.
“I never thought I would ever take a demon out of hell,” he reached and rested a hand on her hips, “You really are good aren’t you, it’s not a trick or a trap or anything, this really is all you wanted,” he smiled.
“You’re just seeing me,” Xisira said, then leaned up and put her lips to his. Joseph closed his eyes and returned the kiss, rolling her over on the bed and getting on top of her as his hands reached for her dress. She lifted her arms and let him pull it off her, as her hands went down to unbuckle his belt. She kicked her shoes off and the two continued to kiss, breaking only to help get each other’s clothes off.
Joseph and Xisira moved up further on to the bed. Kissing, and caressing, Joseph moved to her neck, being with her was unlike any mortal woman he had ever laid with. The two connected and began to move with each other. They would take a break from their kissing to look deep into each other’s eyes as Xisira wrapped a leg around his back.
“Xisira, you’re so beautiful,” he panted between thrusts.

“Is this love?” she asked, as Joseph paused and looked down at her.
“I was told that a demon of my breed was not capable of such things, This is supposed to be only a gift from the above, if I’m a demon, how can I feel this?” she asked.
“I don’t know, but I feel it too,” Joseph kissed her, “Who gives a damn about what the above and below are supposed to mean,” he said, kissing up her neck, “All that matters is you and I, together, I don’t give a damn if the Order puts a price on my head for this, I feel it too,” he said tilting her chin up and looking at her. “Xisira, you’re unlike any woman I’ve ever met,” he said.
“I think I love you. I don’t know what love is, or how it’s even supposed to feel, but whatever I’m feeling now, I think it’s love. This amazing feeling I’ve only ever heard whispers and assumptions about,” she kissed him, running her hands up his hard and scarred back.
“Don’t think about it,” Joseph started to move again, and Xisira moved with him, the two sharing this deep connecting moment together. A moment unlike either had ever experienced, an experience that a demon of the below was never meant to have. Xisira called out and began to scratch at his back, adding to his scars as he moved deeper.
Once the two had exhausted themselves, Joseph rolled off of her and wrapped an arm around her, “You say we can end this war,” he asked, half dazed and kissing her shoulder.
“I hope so, every being, above, here, or below, should experience that, is that the divine gift of love? is that what the creator gave man all the way back then? In the garden?” she asked.
“Man was lonely,” he said, kissing her ear, “The man was all alone in the garden, some think for a pretty long time, and the Creator saw that was no way for his creation to live, so the man was given the gift of the woman,” he said, “Don’t really feel like having a bible study right now,” he smiled and kissed her lips again.
“And it was the woman that destroyed the man, the woman that was tempted, and tempting. She was tempted by the serpent, a woman caused the fall, a woman started this war,” she got up and leaned against the headboard, “Am I tempting you?” she brought her legs up to her chest and pouted, “I mean it, I haven’t used my powers on you, you believe me, right?” she turned to Joseph, a pleading look in her eyes.
“Yes, I believe you,” Joseph said, “In Hunter Training, in our studies, we’re warned about how a Demoness can tempt men, you haven’t tempted me with anything, you haven’t promised to give me anything, and you haven’t given me anything, we’re just two beings, sharing a moment together, nothing more,” he reached up and brushed a lock of violet hair from her face, “Everything, the Above, the Below, the War, all of it, it doesn’t matter,” he kissed her again. “If what you say is true, if the Demons are as fed up with the war as we are, there could be hope,” he pressed his forehead to hers, “There could be a way for this war to end, and beings like you can prove it,” he smiled.
“Will you show me everything?” she asked.
“Everything?” he raised an eyebrow.
“Everything about this world, the mortal world, I just want to see it all,” she smiled, “Thank you, Joseph,” she wrapped her arms around him and the two snuggled up in bed together, going to sleep hoping that every day after this would be as blissful as the night they just spent together.
