Chapter 4: Shadows in the Village of Warma
Scene 1: Throne Hall – The Assignment
The five knights stand before the king. The atmosphere is heavy with seriousness. A blood-drawn map is spread across a stone table.
King:
“Warma village, on the border of the Kingdom of Light… has been silent for seven days. No messages. No survivors. Shadow reports say something… is inhaling souls there.”
Lorena (whispering):
“Souls…?”
Vairon:
“You will go. Not as your trainer… but as true knights. This is your first mission… and it might be your last, if you’re fools.”

Scene 2: Road to Warma
The knights ride dark horses through a dense forest.
The fog thickens as they draw closer, and cold gnaws at their bones.
Silence between them is broken only by the cawing of black crows.
Raiger:
“This forest… is watching me.”
Kane:
“No… it's whispering your name.”
Hakora (looking to the horizon):
“We're not alone.”
---
Scene 3: Arrival at Warma
The place is abandoned… burnt huts, dead bodies with no blood.
Lorena tries to use her powers, but the light doesn’t respond.
Hanto touches the ground… and senses vibrations beneath it.
Hanto:
“Something… is moving under the village.”
Suddenly, a nearby hut explodes. A hideous creature emerges — faceless, with decayed gray skin, and a mouth on its chest.
Kane:
“What in hell is that?!”
---
Scene 4: Battle Against “The Devourer”
Name of the creature: The Devourer
Abilities:
Absorbs magical energy.
Projects shadow replicas of Warma village.
Speaks with the voices of children and victims to lure the knights.
The battle:
Hakora unleashes her ice — but it melts.
Raiger launches fire — the creature reflects it.
Kane strikes from the shadows — the creature splits.
Lorena collapses, powerless.
Hanto:
“If light doesn’t work… then we’ll fight with darkness itself.”
He commands swiftly:
Kane plants a shadow circle beneath the monster.
Raiger amplifies his fire wave to shatter its shell.
Hakora freezes the creature’s heart from within.
Hanto delivers the Purifying Shadow Strike — a fusion of light and darkness.
The monster explodes. The village collapses on top of them…
---
Scene 5: Aftermath – The Shock
The knights emerge from the rubble, wounded.
They see a child walking slowly… then crumbling into ash.
Lorena (weeping):
“We were too late… everyone’s dead.”
Vairon (from afar – through a magical mirror):
“This is how war begins, knights. This is not the end of a mission… but the start of a greater fall.”
End – Calm Before the Storm
Kane questions their strength.
Raiger laughs to hide the pain.
Hakora remains silent.
Hanto looks up at the sky: “Zorak… your game has begun.”
Narrator:
“In the depths of darkness… it is not the strongest who prevail. But the ones who survive… cry first.”
