Hello, Casters! ??

  I have some quick updates to give.

  The first is some disappointing news that there were some production delays and book 1 of Wayward: Running will now be releasing July 29th 2025 instead of in May.

  The good news, however, is that I have a wonderful cover art team now at Umeshu Lovers (Check out their ), and have gotten to listen to the initial recording of the audiobook narrated by , who did a fantastic job! I originally got into LitRPGs via audiobooks, so I had a blast listening to it come to life in that way.

  Another update is that due to this production delay and some personal issues, I’m planning to take June off from releasing new chapters instead of waiting till July or August like I have before.

  I was in a car accident back in March that disrupted my life, been still struggling to find a new job as a software developer (some might have seen on my Patreon post that I got laid off in Jan 2024), and have been risking the loss of my home. On top of that, and probably on a much more personal level than most people normally share publicly, I’ve been struggling with my mental health from a recent sexual assault, those financial stresses, and burnout. Frankly, I’ve been running on empty and have eaten through my backlog while unable to write the way I want to. So I’m hoping that taking June off will help me get back on my feet, into a better headspace, and into the flow of writing again.

  I appreciate all of you for being amazing and supporting my writing by reading, rating, and commenting. It helps keep me going when those dark moments creep in on me. Also, everyone is welcome to join the Discord if they want to connect, have questions, or want to talk about anything.
