Hello everyone. I've let this novel sit in Hiatus uncertainty for a bit without making any announcements. To address this, I'm just going to say a few things.
When things stopped before Interlude 2, on Chapter 54, I had a catastrophic hardware failure. I lost all my notes, my ideas, my world-building, for Shifting Perfection. I came back a few months later, and tried to reignite my passion for this with Interlude 2. Maybe writing a new angle would let me get back in the swing of things, show some more bad guy potential in the process.
It really didn't. I've been in a writing slump since, not really wanting to continue or start anything new.
That has changed. I learned a lot from Shifting Perfection- including that I need to have off-hard-drive backups of my plotting resources!- and I want to bring that to a new project. To the fans of Shifting Perfection, I am sorry to say I am officially putting this story on permanant hiatus... which, honestly doesn't change much, I just don't want to give the false hope that I intend to return to this project.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
I am, however, starting a new project that is also Pokemon themed, for those that want to get more of the Pokemon fix from my writing. The new project launched today, and is titled "Pokemon Frankenstein". This one features a human main character, while still following the same idea of 'sent to a Pokemon world' themes that Shifting Perfection had.
If you enjoyed my writing, give it a shot. That's all, and even if none of you choose to read the new work I've started, I appreciate everyone who has commented and participated in my journey as a writer thus far.
Thanks, everyone.
