  Chapter 30: The Alliance of Ash and Light

  Scene One – Rise of the Black Hurricane

  The sky exploded with a dark light. From a vortex of feathers, Maverix emerged, his three eyes blazing with cosmic energy. His wings were like mountains, each feather a sword.

  Maverix (in a thunderous voice):

  > "My wings overturn the earth, and my tongue curses it."

  He swept his left wing — Technique: “Inverted Vortex”

  Gravity flipped upside down. The knights flew helplessly through the air, unsure of which way was up or down.

  He swept his right wing — Technique: “Crawling Fracture”

  The ground cracked with fiery lines, and spectral arms emerged, striking everything in their path.

  Then he screamed and fully spread his wings — Technique: “Will of the Heavens”

  A purple light rained down upon the battlefield. Anyone without magical protection collapsed unconscious.

  Scene Two – The Eternal Blade of Destruction

  From his chest, Maverix drew a massive black sword, five meters long, breathing like a living being. Its name:

  “Blade of the Seventh Sin”

  He struck the earth — lightning burst forth.

  The land split; the knights barely dodged as Raiger fired flames, and Hakora froze the ground to hold Maverix in place. But he shattered the ice and evaded.

  He unleashed the sword's technique — “Arc of Dissolution”

  A half-circle black wave that erased everything in its path — tree, stone, horse, even light.

  It struck the knights, hurling them into trees, their bodies bloodied.

  Scene Three – Alliance of Light and Shadows

  The knights fell... then rose, one by one.

  Hakora screamed:

  > "Your wing is heavy? My spears are heavier!"

  Technique: “Heavenly Ice Spears – Second Form”

  The spear split into ten, piercing and freezing Maverix’s left wing in place.

  Kain emerged from his shadow with nine clones instead of four:

  Technique: “Echoing Shadows”

  Each clone struck — Maverix heard nine simultaneous screams inside his head. The pain was both mental and physical.

  Raiger activated his dragon form:

  > "My fire doesn't burn... it purifies."

  Technique: “Great Spiral Flame”

  He spun like a tornado of fire, crashing into Maverix and burning half of his left body.

  Scene Four – Fall of the King

  Maverix shrieked and began flying backward, trying to retreat. But...

  Hanto, engulfed in a demonic aura, launched into the sky, his body shrouded in black energy:

  Technique: “Crimson Wing Sever – Throne’s End”

  His sword sliced Maverix’s right wing clean off. Black blood rained like cursed droplets.

  Lorina raised her staff and unleashed:

  Technique: “Final Light – Void’s Eye”

  A white beam struck Maverix’s central eye, blinding and searing its nerve.

  Final Scene – The End

  Hanto rushed like lightning and slashed Maverix's abdomen in half, blood spraying into the sky.

  He fell slowly, like someone who accepted defeat.

  The knights approached.

  Maverix looked at them, barely whispering:

  > “If I had been another bird... maybe I would’ve chosen to fly beside you.”

  He died.

  A single black feather burned... slowly.

  The End – Honoring the Fallen

  The knights stood in silence. No shouts. No cheers.

  Lorina:

  > “He fought with honor... despite his darkness.”

  Hanto:

  > “The real battle... hasn't begun yet.”

  Kain picked up the burning feather and placed it in his pendant.

  Raiger:

  > “We've lost much... but we endured.”

  Hakora:

  > “Let’s bring back the living... and farewell the dead.”

  And the sky began to rain — not water, but ash.
