He climbed to the upper floor, where he saw many more rooms.
He began walking through the pce, wandering its halls, until he passed a crossing corridor.
He gnced to the right—and there it was.
A mirror, standing in the middle of the corridor he found its presence… strange.
i approached it—and suddenly, Severen’s reflection appeared.
But it wasn’t a normal reflection.
The reflection lifted its eyes and stared directly into Severen’s. Then, it spoke:
— “Why didn’t you come home that day?
Do you realize they had no one but you?
Why didn’t you come back?”
Its voice began to rise, turning into a shout:
— “Why didn’t you come back?! Tell me!!”
Severen couldn’t respond.
He stared at the ground, his gaze firm.
He couldn’t bear to meet his own eyes in the mirror.
The reflection asked:
— “Was it because you were tired of life?
Or… did you see them as a burden?”
At that moment, Severen suddenly raised his eyes and cried out:
— “No! No, that’s not true! I never saw them as a burden!”
Tears began to stream down his face. His voice trembled:
— “Impossible… that I’d think of them that way.
Mother… Sister…forgive me, please…
If only I had gone home that day…
If only I hadn’t gone to that cursed pce… none of this would’ve happened…”
The reflection responded:
— “Regret won’t save you now.
You killed the ones to whom you were safety… and joy.
You don’t deserve to live.”
Then the reflection vanished.
Severen whispered:
— “I know… I know that…
I don’t deserve to live…
But I couldn’t do it…”
He paused, then looked up.
— “I’ll do it here… No one will find me.”
i stood on my feet and began searching for a pce to do it.
Something inside him changed.
He moved like a man on the edge.
He tried opening doors—one after another, all locked—
Until he reached a room marked (101).
He opened it.
Inside, a girl sat by the window, staring into the fog.
She hadn’t noticed him.
Severen stepped forward cautiously and said:
— “You… what are you doing here? This pce is dangerous.”
The girl flinched with fear.
She grabbed the knife that y in front of her and pointed it at him:
— “Stay back! Stay back! You won’t take me again!”
Severen tried to calm her, but failed.
She began circling the room, inching toward the door.
Each time Severen tried to approach,
She swung the knife wildly and screamed:
— “Stay away, you monster! I won’t let you hurt me!”
Severen shouted:
— “I’m not going to hurt you! Just put the knife down!”
But the girl bolted out the door—
and vanished into the fog.
