The young dragonet, as most are these days, was an orphan. He was a very peculiar one, too. He was, for once, a Nightwing. Nightwings powers were exposed before this child had hatched, so of course that meant he was untrustworthy. He suspected everyone cared about everyone but him, and that does numbers to a child. Namely, that taught the child to have a big ego. It was never his fault, of course.

But even though this child was two and nameless, that didn't stop him from naming himself the name he hoped would strike fear into his enemy's eyes. He named himself after the moons that reflect brightly off of a pool of water, like the mythical silver river.
