I look surprised at the body then I look at the underside of my wrist and see the symbol. And sable says "that's a beacon, it makes it easier for him to find you." He turns around and clasp my hands "princess, this is only the beginning of something greater and I promise to protect you!". "Something greater? Something greater than all of this?!" I scream "yes princess, this is but the first act of this grand tragedy.".

  Why must he talk in such metaphors all I wish is answers! But before I could complain or he confused me further a thought of person sore forgotten rang out "Charles!"

  I pulled my hands away and ran from the church sable following close behind. "Princess where are we going?" Sable asked. I more focused on running to save Charles barely turn my head as I answer "to get Charles! he's injured and let him lay on the bed of the forest! Covered in leaves no less!" Sable still following close behind me retorts "if it's so urgent wouldn't be quicker for me to carry you?" In a tone most confused.

  With that I stop in my tracks usually I would mad and and yell at him to shut up but now is not the time perhaps later though. I grab onto him and in less then a half blink we arrive at Charles's half dead body covered leaves. I let go of sable and go and hold Charles "oh Charles I'm so sorry I knew we had to stab you to save your but-" just then I stop as I realize that the stab wound has healed not just that but all the injuries on his body and face are all gone?

  "Sable, his injurys-" "their gone?" sable finishes my sentence. He continues"the light water may have destroyed most of my masters presences within him but you can never truly remove my master from a person. He'll never be the same for better or for worse."

  "And it's all my fault" why do I feel so guilty I've never had this this pit before and why do I feel like I deserve it? After a seeming eternity of silence sable places his hand on my shoulder and says "we should head back" I hand him Charles and get on his back "please run just a bit slower he's still weak" "of course princess" he responds

  We zip to the castle not in les then a blink as he normally does, it was more like 12. When we arrive servants once again swarm but don't get close enough to touch learning from there previous encounter with sable.

  "Your highness please your mother-" "my mother can wait! Charles needs to return home now!" I dismount sable and order a servant to take Charles away the servant does so

  "Now can you please see your mother?" Another servant begs.

  Gosh I'm done with all of this a witch, wolf men, a dark creator I can't deal with it! But I can deal with my mother right here right now "yes I will see here." I command "sable keep close" he beings to follow with intent as I am guided to my mother.

  A servant guides me to my mothers throne room where she is sitting she seems out of her wits her hair a skew and her face dripping in confused rage. "We're have you been?! You need training for it is obviously your madness has spiraled you have brought in this pale demon!"

  I don't know what made me angrier the accusation of madness or the fact I was mad at what she called sable why do I even care about him? "The only mad one here is you!" I yell.

  My mothers eye flash angry when I yelled that "you call me mad! The queen of these lands!"

  "No I am calling my mad mother mad!" My mother now infuriated snaps her fingers and knights pour out the halls "it is clear to me you are to far gone. Take her to the dungeon!"

  She called soldiers on me? Her child? Something s wrong here. As the knights advance sable steps in front of me and says "any of you move your dead." His voice is calm yet verbose and intimidating and the knights hesitate but only for a moment as one brave knight steps forward and before there was even evidence of movement he's head was off his body cleanly cut by sable's silver saber.

  "Any else?" He taunted and all the knights charge a charge that lasted less then a second as all fell to sable's silver saber. He then rushed towards me grabbed me and ran outside.

  My eyes were in shock at the ultra violent scene that happened in front of me but somehow I regained composure when he told me "we're heading to that cave from yesterday" and before I could ask any questions we had already arrived. We're at the library where the cave of magic or whatever it is is located. And I say the words to open it "ego praecipio tibi ut aperire!" And the book shelf retracted to the floor and the cave is revealed and before I go in sable says "ask about brain worms." "What are brain worms?" "Just ask the lights are coming for us still and I think there in the library.

  With that I enter and before I could even ask anything a book sitting in the center of the cave it flutters up and and writes on it's own pages 'your mother has brain worms' it's a simple it's almost comedic. "What are-" I am interrupted by the book writing again 'brain worms are slippery slugs that are born from dark blood and prefer dark areas like the brain and they prefer human brains they get in ya head on way or another and start eating your noggin. First you go mad then madder and even madder then you die' I get shocked by the bluntness 'but there's a way to save your mum the silver crucifix get that baby in front of her eyes and it'll climb right out of there might try to hop in you so watch out for that' a silver crucifix falls into my hands.

  This seems easy hope the brain worms doesn't get into my head. With that I walk out to sable there are a few bodies of knights he killed them so quietly I don't notice that fact makes a chill run down my spine but there's no time for that. "To my mother-" before I could say now we are already at her feet. "What! Why are you here knights!" Her voice is scratchy and unhinged.

  "Mother behold!" I hold out the crucifix and my mother's eyes widened and she screeches black blood pours out her ear and a blob of black follows it. My mother slumps over but a knight catches her the blob flings itself at me but sable bisected it.

  "Have my mother seen by a doctor" I order and surprisingly they listen. I head for my room to sleep sable follows but I ask him to not and surprisingly he obeys. I get ready for sleep as this day was too much way too much I can't comprehend half the stuff that has happened and the things I do understand I wish I didn't. with all of it done I finally rest.
