The resounding agreement on D. Vito's guilt from the jury sent the crowd into wild roars. He may have had a sad story, but even Mina agreed, there was no sense in blowing up the world or the courtroom over it.
She looked onto the clapping crowd, all smiling and beaming at her. Everyone from her parents to her clients to her friends to her mentors to...Legal Suit Larry were so proud of her. It was clear, that even with some legal mishaps, this legal brunette was in for a promising career.
But when she held a strong hand on her shoulder, she knew that one other person was very proud of her. William Justice's hand, no longer encased in a metal gauntlet was firm but gentle with her and she had missed it more than the world. She turned around with a happy and wide smile.
"You saved me..." he said with a gallant grin on his handsome dark face. "yet again."
Mina's lips trembled and her jaw clenched. She couldn't believe it. Her boyfriend had defied death and machine servitude to return to her. "I can't believe it's really you..." she gasped, choking back tears. "Willy...life's been so painful without you."
The handsome prosecutor placed both his hands on her shoulders and looked so dashing even dressed like a dark metal space lord. "As it has been without you," he answered. "Literally. I am just glad that the Aura wizards truly managed to make a metal heart that works."
He held his hand to his chest. "And it still beats for you."
Mina embraced him in another hug. As cheesy as that saying was, she could use a little cheese after that unpleasant encounter with death itself.
"I am so thankful," Blind answered. "That I have the best girlfriend in the world..."

Mina was silent. She has removed herself mentally from being his girlfriend since he died. But now that he had returned, she didn't want to be apart from him.
She turned to see Ashley, a tear stricken look on her own face. There was scorn too. An "I see how it is" look that their momentary affection had been displaced due to unlikely Blind's return. She stood up from the bench and walked to go.
Ashley was really leaving. Her other rival turned ally turned...possible love interest. But as she power-walked away in her emerald heels, Mina suddenly broke from Blind and grabbed Ashley.
"What gives, undergrad?!" the lioness snarled. "I'm giving you your alone time with your old new boyfriend."
But there was a gleam in Mina's eyes. One she had never shown before. It was oddly mischievous and excited. She whispered in Ashley's ear and guided her back to Blind.
Ashley narrowed her eyes at the cyborg prosecutor. "Nice cape, roboy." she snarled.
"Now Ashley," Mina said, smiling with a twinkle in her eye. "Is that anyway to treat our new trio?!"
"Trio?!" Blind exclaimed. "With her?!"
Mina pulled them close together. "Now guys. I know there's been some big hangups in the past. But I love both of you and I want to be with both of you!"
Ashley and Blind's eyebrows nearly flew off their heads. "What do you say guys?!" Mina said grinning. "Ashley helped me so much while you were gone Blind. And I think she's a lot happier with herself now. Both of you mean so much to me."
There was still skepticism on Blind and Ashley's faces. They were bitter rivals after all. But both of their faces eased when they saw how giddy Mina was. She had truly brought everyone together and turned both of her prosecutor rivals into her closest allies.
Blind and Ashley's looked at each other and then to the room. Everyone was clapping and cheering for them even though they didn't know what was going on.
Both of their gazes returned to Mina. "We can try..." they both said in unison. And then even stranger, they both said in unison also: "because we love you, Mina!"
"Wowie Zowie!" Mina exclaimed as they both embraced her at the same time.
She not only had a dream legal team now, but a pair of dream partners. Legally, it might be hard to file paperwork for, but she was a lawyer. She'd figure it out.
