Eonni and Alexander run towards the scream and see a bunch of random participants also out of their room.

  Alexander moves them out of the way, expecting a dead body. However, he is disappointed when it is revealed that a man was screaming because a rat was on him.

  “-Really?” Alexander said, his voice full of disappointment.

  “GET IT OFF!” The man throws his arms around as if he can’t just move the rat himself. It’s literally not even moving, just sitting there, minding its own business.

  “Oh my gosh.” Alexander looks up, not wanting this scene to unfold. He walks to the man, takes the rat, and sets it on the ground. The rat runs away, and the man stops screaming. He gets up, dusts his clothes off, and acts as if nothing happened.

  “Alright, so what are we doing?”

  A man in full body armor signs, “We were going to find out who’s going to kill next and kill them.”

  This catches Alexander’s attention, “Wait! You guys are also going to kill the next killer too?”

  “Is that why you guys came out?” A black bald man with a big nose says.

  “Yeah. Me and Alexander suspect number nine will be the next killer.”

  “How so?” The black man asked.

  “Well, Alexander noticed that it always counted by 2. 3, 5, and 7 were the murders since they disappeared after each after every murder.”

  “That's a keen on you boy. Alexander, right?”

  “The one and only, Alexander the Great. Savior of the universe and hope of all. Be sure to remember it well.” He says, trying to appear cool.

  “Um, yeah, cool. The names Bozer. Nice to meet you.”

  The black man reaches his hand out for a handshake. Alexander doesn’t shake his hand, but Eonni does.

  “Don’t be rude.” [Eonni]

  Alexander looks away, having no intention of getting a lecture.

  “Anyways. We should stop chatting and go after number nine.” (Bozer]

  Everyone runs together down the hall, Alexander leading the charge.

  “Hey um, what do we do once we reach the killer? Do we just jump them or something?” [Armored Man]

  “Yes. What else would we do, talk them out of it?” [Alexander]

  “I guess not.” [Armored Man]

  “We should enter the dining hall again; it seems the bodies are always placed there.” [Eonni]

  They reach the dining hall but find no one there. They look behind the staff rooms, the kitchen, and the janitor’s room but find nothing.

  “It seems they haven’t killed anyone yet.” [Bozer]

  “Yes, so we should split up and cover more ground.” [Rat Scaredy Cat]

  “Hmmmm. While that doesn’t sound very smart...I’m on board.” [Alexander]

  “What! No! We shouldn’t split up; they’ll just pick us off one by one. Hell, they might go after me first and I don’t want that.” [Bozer]

  “What makes you think they’ll go after you first?” {Armored Man]

  “Look at my skin color, that's a red flag alone.” [Bozer]

  Alexander observes Bozer, eyeing him up and down, “Yeah, he’s right. We’re still gonna split up though.” [Alexander]

  “Seriously!” [Bozer]

  “Relax, I’ll go with you. I am a savior after all, so it's only natural I’m fated to save all.”

  Bozer feels like his life is over, hearing this kid speak like he belongs in a mental hospital. He signs and says nothing, just looking away into the distance and a tear going down his eye.

  “Are you okay?” [Eonni] She says, concerned about Bozer.

  “Don’t worry. Eonni and you sirs will be together.” {Alexander] He says pointing towards the armored man and the scaredy cat.

  “Why all three of us? Why not have 2 of us protect Bozer?” [Armored Man]

  “I guess it’s because I haven’t developed my skill yet.” [Eonni]

  “Are you a beginner skill user?” {Scaredy Cat]

  “No, I just lost my skill during an unfortunate accident and I’m currently creating one.” {Eonni]

  “I see. Don’t worry, I’ll protect you.” {Scaredy Cat]

  Eonni’s face says it all, she has no faith in a man who was on the ground screaming because of a small rat.

  “If you have any doubt, my skill is good for protection.” [Armored Man]

  “Alright, I’ll leave it to you.” [Eonni]

  The man seems not to like how she favored the armored man over him, a hint of jealousy expressed on his face.

  “Alright, time to split. Follow me, Bozer!” [Alexander]

  Alexander runs off in a random direction, Bozer following behind, Eonni, Armored Man, and Scaredy Man leave another direction.

  With Alexander and Bozer, despite Bozer’s size, he’s managing to keep up with Alexander.

  “I’m surprised you can keep up despite your size.” [Alexander]

  “Never mind that. Focus on the agenda, lives are on the line.” {Bozer]

  “Right.” [Alexander]

  Alexander and Bozer reach the men’s bathroom.

  “Why did we stop here? You need to use it?” [Bozer]

  “What? No. I’m searching everywhere.” [Alexander]

  Alexander opens the door while he is still looking at Bozer. When he turns around and opens the door, he sees another staff member but instead of 9 like they predicted, the mask has the number 11. The person has a blade inches before his face but a rock-like hand catches the blade.

  It is revealed to be Bozer, whose skill seems to allow him to transform his skin into rock.

  “Nice try.” [Bozer]

  Bozer grabs the assailant's arm, pulling him closer and gut-checking him, sending him to the inside of the bathroom. They both walk in, and Alexander summons his sword while Bozer stands at the door.

  “I’ll guard the entrance; you take care of our friend here.” [Bozer]

  “Alright then.” [Alexander]

  Alexander dashes at the assailant and swings his sword, shining bright and illuminating bright blue. The killer dodges and seems to use their skill, allowing them to manipulate metal. The pipes in the bathroom fly towards Alexander. He is hit the first time but cuts the others.

  “Seems he can manipulate metal.” [Alexander]

  Alexander slides to the killer, legs first, and goes for a stab motion. The killer dodges and maneuvers his blade and a fancy way to stab him in the back. Alexander grabs him by the shoulder and flips himself forward to dodge the blade and kick the killer in the face.

  “Not bad. Messy but alright.” [Bozer]

  Alexander, now holding the person by their other sidearm, has their left arm crossed, thus it's harder for the person to move. He goes for the swing to decapitate their head, but metal from the walls is wrapped around his arm with the blade.

  “Damn it!” [Alexander]

  The person breaks free and strikes to stab Alexander in the neck. Bozer catches the arm and swings the person to the ground. He pulls the metal in the wall and frees Alexander. The person slips through Bozer’s legs and runs out of the room.

  They chase after him, managing to keep up but slowly getting further. Bozer destroys the wall and grabs a peddle of debris. Alexander notices this as well as him seemingly coating it in mana.

  “Throw this at them, NOW!” [Bozer]

  Alexander, while not understanding what’s going on, goes along with it and throws the peddle, putting all his force into it. Eonni appears on the other side of the hall.

  “Is that the killer!” [Eonni]

  “The pebble flies towards the person and Bozer claps his hands. This causes him to switch places with the pebble and fly towards the person. The person turns around to see a big bulk of rock, preparing to punch him so hard, he won’t even feel it and that’s just what happens.

  “Swapping places!” [Eonni]

  She is impressed by what she saw and as a result, something happens to her right arm, some blue and gold stars appear on her hands before disappearing. She doesn’t see this, however, fixated on what just occurred, inspiration for creating her skill.

  The person is punched in the face, and their mask and face are ripped due to the edges of Bozer’s fist. The person is sent towards Eonni who ducks to avoid the man.

  “I don’t know why it wasn't 9 but who cares, we’re gonna pass this exam.” [Alexander]

  Bozer smiles, glad about his victory when a metal shard comes out of his neck from the front.

  “W-whaach!” [Bozer]
