Hi everyone,

  Back on February 14th, my mother fell and hit her head. She had to be taken by ambulance and then flown via helicopter to the nearest city. While she’s been released since then, it feels like every week since has brought a new emergency—with frequent ER visits, missed workdays, and a constant, heavy sense of uncertainty.

  Despite all that, I’ve been trying hard to keep up with my posting schedule here on Royal Road. But the truth is—the pressure is starting to wear me down.

  I’ve noticed myself rushing chapters, cutting scenes short, and struggling with creativity when it comes to skills, abilities, and the pacing of the story. I care deeply about this world and these characters—and I don’t want to see the quality of my writing suffer just because I’m chasing a self-imposed deadline.

  So, here’s what’s changing:

  I’m stepping away from a strict posting schedule—at least for now.

  Some weeks you might get two or three chapters, others you might not see an update at all.

  I’m going to give each chapter the time it needs, even if that means holding one back until it truly fits.

  I know this might affect growth, followers, and discoverability. But honestly, I’d rather post something I’m proud of than just “get it out” because it’s Sunday or Wednesday.

  To those of you who’ve followed, favorited, and stuck with me—thank you. Truly.

  If you decide to move on, I understand. I’m just some guy on the internet writing a story that, for a moment, captured your interest. But if you choose to stay—I promise I’ll keep giving it everything I’ve got, even if it takes a little more time.
